It was an action-packed Wednesday with Spartan Poker’s guarantee-crushing IOPC July Edition dominating the action once again. The low to mid-stakes players had a field day in PokerBaazi`s Grinders Series.
Ranjeet Negi topped the Wednesday charts as he took down the flagship IOPC title of the day, the ₹45 Lakhs GTD IOPC #22 Wednesday Prime, for a career-best ₹9.74 Lakhs and his second IOPC title. Young Gun Siddhanth Kripalani (runner-up for ₹6.01 Lakhs) and IOPC Dream Catcher winner Haider Madraswala (3rd for ₹4.30 Lakhs) secured podium finishes.
Rubin Labroo also added a second IOPC title to his tally as he won the IOPC #23 – Wednesday Spotlight for ₹3.20 Lakhs.
The NPS Kick-Off fifth-place finisher Dishani Vijay championed PokerBaazi`s The Pride for ₹2.62 Lakhs.
One of the annual leaderboard toppers, Goonjan Mall, was the last player standing in the ₹10 Lakhs GTD IOPC#24 All Rounder (Boost) and won ₹2.21 Lakhs after striking a heads-up deal with Anirudh Reddy.
Ashit Sharma, Aditya Singh, Armaan Kochhar, Siddharth Gangwar, Praveen KR, Karan Radia, Sankalp Marwah, Mohak Kapoor, Ashish Kumar Yadav, Tanay Hegde, Sourabh Singh, and Shubham Bhashker took down the other marquee titles.

The ₹30 Crores GTD IOPC July Edition completed Day 4 on Wednesday, with six players winning the coveted IOPC Gold Badges. The five-flight strong ₹25 Lakhs GTD IOPC D’Lite also began proceedings yesterday.
The Millionaire Series – High Roller third-place finisher Ranjeet ‘Rj147’ Negi was the day`s biggest winner. Negi decimated the 1,021-entry strong field in the ₹45 Lakhs GTD IOPC #22 Wednesday Prime to win his second IOPC title and a career-best ₹9.74 Lakhs. Young Gun Siddhanth ‘PluRibu$’ Kripalani (runner-up for ₹6.01 Lakhs) and IOPC Dream Catcher champion Haider ‘Callmebabe’ Madraswala (3rd for ₹4.30 Lakhs) secured the top-three finishes in the IOPC #22 Wednesday Prime.
Negi had won his first IOPC title almost precisely a year ago in July 2020, when he championed the IOPC – Titan Stack for ₹5.31 Lakhs. He also finished 47th in Adda52’s Maverick for ₹5,407, netting ₹9.79 Lakhs in cumulative earnings.

The ₹25 Lakhs GTD IOPC D’Lite completed the first of its five starting flights yesterday. Day 1A of the ₹550 buy-in event registered 1,013 participants, and only 82 runners made it through to Day 2. ‘balli2803’ (264,032), ‘Ataraxia’ (262,611), and Abhishek Milan ‘drpokerabc’ Chinya (258,292) topped the survivors.
The 2020 India Poker Champion Rubin ‘imightwin’ Labroo came out on top in the IOPC #23 – Wednesday Spotlight to win his second IOPC title for ₹3.20 Lakhs. He outlasted a field of 1,127 entries and defeated Akash ‘playboyarya’ Singla (runner-up for ₹1.96 Lakhs) heads-up to collect the IOPC Gold Badge.

One of the commentators on the IOPC July 2021 live-streams, Goonjan ‘gmtesting’ Mall, was the last player standing in the ₹10 Lakhs GTD IOPC#24 All Rounder (Boost). The online entrepreneur won ₹2.21 Lakhs and the IOPC Gold Badge after striking a heads-up deal with Anirudh ‘flash’ Reddy (runner-up for ₹2.18 Lakhs). This is Mall’s first IOPC title, and the winning score pushed him up one place to #8 on the annual leaderboard standings.

The three-time Mega Stack champion Ashit ‘D. Carwin1’ Sharma clinched his career-second IOPC title yesterday after taking down the guarantee-crushing IOPC#20 for ₹1.42 Lakhs. He now has ₹2.23 Crores in lifetime online winnings (₹43.11 Lakhs in net profits).
IOPC #18 – All Rounder winner Abhijeet ‘TheSupremeOne’ Kumar placed runner-up in the IOPC#20 for ₹94,576. He cashed another three IOPC events yesterday, cumulatively earning ₹1.34 Lakhs. These scores saw him climb up four places to #2 in the ₹1 Crore GTD IOPC leaderboard standings with 2,886 points.
Aditya ‘Konstantinn’ Singh had a field day yesterday, winning two titles for a cumulative ₹1.32 Lakhs. His scores for the day were:

The Pride title fetched Dishani Vijay her second title of the year, improving her recorded winnings on PokerBaazi to ₹29.22 Lakhs (₹8.45 Lakhs in site-profits).
Young Gun Siddharth ‘schemer’ Karia came out firing last night as he posted five ITM finishes, including two FT scores for ₹1.31 Lakhs in total earnings. His FT finishes include:

The late-night crusher Sankalp ‘Wobbegong’ Marwah outlasted the 303-entry field in the ₹2 Lakhs GTD Grinders#16 Holdem Boost to win ₹66,933. ‘balyanbali’ placed runner-up for ₹46,970. Marwah bagged his sixth career Grinders Series title – this was also his fifth title of the month, boosting his lifetime tally to ₹1.09 Crores (₹17.91 Lakhs in net profits).

PokerStars India’s ₹5 Lakhs GTD Night on Stars collected a ₹5.09 Lakhs prize pool from an entry field of 287 runners (includes 128 re-entries). The tourney played down to a thrilling heads-up finale between the site`s “Star of the Month” – December Siddharth ‘gangnam gangi’ Gangwar and Anmol ‘freak_weird0’ Agarwal. Ultimately, it was Gangwar who prevailed and won the title for ₹96,889. Agarwal took home ₹72,549 for his runner-up score.
Siddharth Gangwar pulled out another four ITM finishes last night, collectively earning ₹1.17 Lakhs. He dominated the primetime marquees on PokerStars India with a seventh-place finish in the Big Bubble Rush for ₹9,114 and now sits at the edge of the ₹1 Crore Club with ₹99.09 Lakhs in lifetime winnings (₹38.09 Lakhs in net profits).
The “Star of the Month” – February Armaan ‘armaan007111’ Kochhar scored his second title of the week as he shipped the ₹1.50 Lakhs GTD Ultrasonic for the seventh time last night for ₹31,093. Armaan Kochhar ITM-ed five more events, collectively earning ₹1.20 Lakhs, enough to get him back into the top 10 of the annual leaderboard standings. These scores also include a fourth-place finish in Adda52’s La Luna for ₹34,571.

The former The Mint champion ‘gouthamishan’ edged past the IOPC Blaze of Glory runner-up finisher Ashwin ‘Ashwinvijay1399’ Vijay (runner-up for ₹2.24 Lakhs) heads-up to win a personal-best (on Adda52) ₹3.86 Lakhs.
‘gouthamishan’ now sits on ₹15.42 Lakhs in tracked earnings on Adda52 with ₹9.67 Lakhs in net profits.
Praveen ‘praveen2626’ KR took down the ₹4 Lakhs GTD La Luna for ₹1.06 Lakhs. Sumit ‘sumit4game’ Saurav finished runner-up for ₹63,042. Like the Maverick, La Luna also crushed its listed ₹4 Lakhs guarantee, collecting ₹4.07 Lakhs in the prize pool on the back of 248 entries.
The champion Praveen KR posted 11 ITM finishes on Wednesday, collectively earning ₹1.54 Lakhs. His other top scores include:

Spartan Poker user ‘balli2803’ (264,032) topped the day-end chip counts, with ‘Ataraxia’ (262,611), Abhishek Milan ‘drpokerabc’ Chinya (258,292), Mohit ‘thejoker’ Mehta (188,961) and Karan ‘Junior-KK’ Kapur (168,676) carrying forward the other top stacks of the day.

Yesterday, he ITM-ed two more events, for a collective ₹3.43 Lakhs.
