The lockdown effect continues to show an uptick in online poker traffic, with almost all the Tuesday marquees comfortably crushing their listed guarantees.

PokerGuru Ambassador Ratul Steves took down the biggest guarantee tourney of the day, Spartan Poker’s Mega Stack (Millionaire Bubble), after striking a three-way deal with Vinayak Bajaj and Rakesh Sharma.

Ankit Omprakash Bajaj and Vishal Tulsyan won the other flagship titles.

Here are the Tuesday highlights.

 

Spartan Poker

Spartan Poker has increased the prize pool guarantees almost across the board for all tourneys running as part of its Daily Poker Marathon, including the Tuesday headliner, the Mega Stack (Millionaire Bubble). The ₹3,300 entry buy-in tourney offered a ₹21 Lakhs prize pool guarantee last night and ended up collecting 24.81 Lakhs in prize money from a player field of 827 contestants. PokerGuru Ambassador Ratul ‘Atriohm’ Steves ending a four-month-long dry spell, championed the tourney to win ₹3.32 Lakhs, following a three-way deal with Vinayak ‘haayegarmi’ Bajaj (runner-up for ₹3.32 Lakhs) and Rakesh ‘RiverG’ Sharma (3rd for ₹3.31 Lakhs).

The former Value Bomb and Sunday Superstack champion Ratul Steves now boasts ₹3.67 Crores in lifetime online winnings.

The user ‘iamraman’ bubbled the tourney in 72nd place to win a free ticket worth ₹5,500 to Day 1A of the upcoming The Millionaire (starts at 7 PM on May 20).

The ₹8 Lakhs GTD The Race logged in 636 entrants, and the top 55 places got a share from the ₹9.54 Lakhs prize pool. After over seven hours of gameplay, Ankit ‘ON_MY_MAC’ Omprakash Bajaj raced past the competition to collect ₹1.65 Lakhs and the title following a heads-up deal with Akash ‘playboyarya’ Singla (runner-up for ₹1.37 Lakhs).

Day 2 of Spartan Poker’s UVS was all about BOOST events and played out six events. ‘Chowmeinchoudhary’ (won UVS #10 Boost ₹1.50 Lakhs GTD for ₹31,735), ‘furiosa12’ (won UVS #11 – The Centurion Boost ₹1.40 Lakhs GTD for ₹31,203), ‘control’ (won UVS #8 Boost ₹85K GTD for ₹22,232) and ‘Panda702’ (won UVS #9 PLO Boost ₹1 Lakh GTD for ₹17,382) were among the prominent UVS title winners on Tuesday.

PokerStars India’s Tuesday night extravaganza, the ₹7 Lakhs GTD Sixth Sense, recorded 291 challengers who bought in for ₹2,200, resulting in an overlay deficit worth ₹1.18 Lakhs. The 7:30 PM tourney got in the books at 3:15 AM today, and the top 35 places boarded the money bus. The former AOPS Main Event champion Vishal ‘mdigurgaon’ Tulsyan captured the title, netting ₹1.33 Lakhs for the win, with Rishab ‘NoChan(3’ Malik placing runner-up for ₹99,039.

The Six Sense deep run happens to be Rishab Malik’s sixth FT finish this month and has him touching almost ₹2.19 Crores in tracked online winnings.

The ₹2 Lakhs GTD Uppercut Mini managed to break even after attracting 163 runners who coughed up the ₹1,375 entry buy-in, and the top 17 places earned a paycheck. The user ‘Romi 899’ was the last player standing and won ₹35,120. Shubham ‘theViperArena’ Chaudhary placed runner-up for ₹28,557.

Day 3 of the Indian Micro Poker Series (IMPS) had six events on the schedule, headlined by the ₹5 Lakh GTD IMPS #16 6-Max Highroller. The ₹2,200 entry buy-in tourney registered a hefty ₹7.52 Lakhs prize pool from a player field of 376 participants. The user ‘royalking7424’ was the last player standing after almost eight hours of play and won ₹1.58 Lakhs. Md ‘007Bahubali’ Zeeshan placed runner-up for ₹1.11 Lakhs.

Adda52`s Tuesday primetime fixture, the ₹15 Lakhs GTD The Mint, signed up 518 entrants, and 55 places got a share from the ₹18.13 Lakhs prize pool. The mystery user ‘faujidhaba’ shipped the tourney, netting ₹4.35 Lakhs after defeating ‘SpiritFish’ (runner-up for ₹2.53 Lakhs) in heads-up play.

The ₹2.75 Lakhs GTD Voyager clocked in 418 hopefuls, collecting ₹4.18 Lakhs in the prize pool. Sunday`s Hurricane champion Vaibhav ‘vroy219’ Roy clinched his second title on the site in three days by topping the competition to win ₹1.03 Lakhs.
