Thursday night was intense, with the flagship tourneys handing out massive paycheques! Spartan Poker hosted the Trending Thursday and the Monster Stack, while Adda52’s Godfather, PokerBaazi’s The Summit, and the PokerStars India Highroller were the day`s other headline tourneys.

Spartan Poker`s ₹16 Lakhs GTD Trending Thursday filled in ₹21,500 in overlays after 451 entrants bought in for ₹3,850. Akshay ‘Jacks24’ Kadam came out on top to win ₹3.20 Lakhs. Prashant ‘prashant17’ Pandagre finished runner-up for ₹2.13 Lakhs.

The ₹7 Lakhs GTD Monster Stack featuring a ₹2,200 entry buy-in was taken down by ‘GulzarSahab’, who won ₹1.69 Lakhs. PokerGuru Ambassador Shashank ‘reconnecting’ Desai came second for ₹1.08 Lakhs.

PokerStars India

PokerStars India`s Thursday night extravaganza, the ₹10 Lakhs GTD Highroller, overlaid ₹48,000 after 136 challengers ponied up the ₹7,700 entry buy-in to enter. The mystery user ‘magisterA1’ came out on top to win ₹2.08 Lakhs, eliminating Young Gun Neel ‘Worm236’ Joshi (runner-up for ₹1.57 Lakhs) in second place. Neel Joshi, the former End Boss runner-up finisher, currently boasts over ₹3.48 Crores in lifetime online winnings.

The ₹2 Lakhs GTD The Classic logged in 155 entries, and the top 18 places took a bite from the ₹2.32 Lakhs prize pool. After over four hours of play, Harsh ‘kakori kabab’ Dembla came out on top to win ₹47,049. He struck a heads-up deal with ‘Ashwinip4873’ (runner-up for ₹47,049).

Dembla also finished sixth in the Highroller last night, netting ₹97,979 overall. After last night`s haul, the three-time Summit champion, Dembla, breached the ₹2.05 Crore-mark in lifetime online winnings.

 

PokerBaazi

Returning for its weekly run on PokerBaazi at 8 PM, the ₹15 Lakhs GTD The Summit crushed its posted guarantee by ₹1.13 Lakhs after clocking in 215 entries. The ₹8,250 entry buy-in tourney came to a close at 3:35 AM today, with Alekh ‘1plus’ Jha banking ₹3.79 Lakhs for the win. The former Full House champion Dhinesh ‘dhineshrocky007’ Kumar placed runner-up for ₹2.66 Lakhs.

The ₹2 Lakhs GTD Grinders#22 Holdem Boost brought together 214 participants who ponied up the ₹1,100 entry buy-in to collect ₹2.14 Lakhs in the prize pool. The recent Micro Millions Main Event champion, Shagun ‘sogani22’ Jain, decimated the competition to win ₹50,354. ‘chhavi013’ finished runner-up for ₹35,331.

Day 1D of the ₹1 Crore GTD Full House registered 216 entries and only 21 runners advanced through to Day 2. The event has filled in 661 seats so far across the four starting flights, with four more flights to go. The mystery user ‘Tricker2020’ (402,947) bagged the end of the day chip lead, with the Grinders#22 Holdem Boost champion Shagun ‘sogani94’ Jain (298,294) and ‘foldkardunga’ (261,812) carrying forward the other top stacks of the day.

The Thursday headliner, ₹25 Lakhs GTD Godfather, ended up offering ₹2.55 Lakhs in overlay value as just 449 participants signed up for the ₹5,500 entry buy-in tourney last night. It took a little over eight hours of play before the birthday boy Ravindra ‘wormhole’ Arikeri came out on top to collect ₹5.31 Lakhs. This happens to be Arikeri`s first title victory in 2021, and what a b’day celebration he had. Before winning the title, he struck a heads-up deal with Saransh ‘don004’ Garg (runner-up for ₹4.43 Lakhs).
