It was a value-driven Wednesday for poker players, with several of the day’s marquees filling in significant overlays.

Just as the FTS#8 Challenger was playing down to a champion, the fourth featured event of the series, the ₹16,500 entry buy-in FTS#11 Big Game, kicked off. The ₹85 Lakhs GTD event happens to be the biggest guaranteed tourney in the ongoing series so far. The event registered 543 runners, overlaying ₹3.55 Lakhs, and like all previous featured FTS 2.0 events, the game was paused once the eight-handed FT was formed. As expected from an event at such a price point, the FT lineup is replete with experienced regs. Well-known MTT reg Goonjan ‘gmtesting’ Mall (3,525,107) bagged the overnight chip lead with Arjun ‘lol this guy’ Pasricha (2,777,602) set to make his second FT appearance at FTS 2,.0. Vivek ‘Pokerbatman27’ Rughani (2,016,264) was the only other player carrying forward a 2 Million+ stack to the FT.

The final table will be live-streamed across several platforms, including the PokerGuru Facebook page.
Offering the second-biggest guarantee at the FTS series on Wednesday was the ₹25 Lakhs GTD FTS#12. Unlike the FTS Challenger, an entry field of 864 entries ensured a guarantee-busting ₹25.92 Lakhs prize pool collection. The IOPC Millionaire United champion Siddhanth ‘PluRibu$’ Kripalani added the missing FTS title to his illustrious poker resume after shipping the tourney for ₹4.97 Lakhs. PokerGuru Ambassador Ankit ‘Shippament’ Wadhawan secured a runner-up score worth ₹3.12 Lakhs. Kripalani now has ₹3.10 Crores in recorded online earnings.
The ₹7 Lakhs GTD FTS#10 clocked in 741 entries, collecting ₹7.41 Lakhs in the prize pool. The tourney played down to a heads-up chop with PokerGuru Ambassador Ashish ‘Spewushhhiiiii’ Ahuja decimating the competition to win ₹1.19 Lakhs. Ujjwal ‘fultufun’ Rana finished runner-up for ₹1.14 Lakhs. Chandigarh-based pro-Ahuja, the #3 ranked player last year, now sits on ₹7.13 Crores in lifetime online winnings.
