Thursday night was pure poker pandemonium! The seventh edition of the DPT Xpress in Goa is grabbing all the headlines, and the big wins are already rolling in! After Angad Kaura (who crushed the DPT Rush for ₹8.68 Lakhs) and Abhishek Sharma (who won the DPT Xpress Mystery Bounty for ₹6.56 Lakhs) grabbed the first two trophies, Ritik Khanna added a third DPT title to his collection, conquering the DPT Mini Main Event for ₹3.85 Lakhs last night!
With a swarm of regulars in Goa for the DPT Xpress, the predicted slowdown in online action came to pass, with massive overlays popping up across most big tournaments. While some sites played it safe and tweaked their guarantees, PokerBaazi held its ground, sticking to its usual stacked schedule with all the same guarantees. This was a feast for online MTT grinders, turning the night into a profit-hunting paradise. And some of the biggest names rose to the top in the night’s biggest battles, with two players even managing to score double victories!
But with the weekend also expected to see a bit of a lull due to the live action in Goa, this is just the quiet before the storm. With PokerBaazi’s ₹100 Crores GTD NPS India 2025 about to ignite the online poker scene, the stakes are about to get much higher. Not to be outdone, Pocket52 is turning up the heat, with a ₹5 Crores Cash Game Leaderboard and over ₹5.50 Crores in tournament guarantees. And there’s plenty of action to be found on other top platforms too, with Natural8 India`s Millions Week 2025 already underway, boasting some jaw-dropping guarantees, and Junglee Poker launching its new ₹1+ Crore Lakhpati Legends series today, a ten-day festival running until February 16!
Amidst all this excitement, Rubin Labroo delivered another masterful performance! Just three weeks after winning the Summit Lite, Labroo, despite being busy with wedding celebrations, put together another beastly run, storming through PokerBaazi’s The Summit to grab an incredible seventh win in this event for a whopping ₹7.50 Lakhs – his sixth-biggest score on the platform and second title of the year. Adding another deep run in Summit Lite, he ended the day with almost ₹7.57 Lakhs in total, making him the undisputed champion of the day! Akshay Choudhary, coming off a series of near-misses, almost grabbed his first win in over two months, finishing runner-up in The Summit for a career-best ₹5.23 Lakhs. Wilson Yomso, the recent Pocket Rockets finalist, rounded out the podium with a third-place finish for a solid ₹3.95 Lakhs.
Over on Natural8 India, Rishabh Gupta was the man of the hour! After a final table finish in The Weekender 50 last week (his first big splash on the platform in five months), Gupta took on a massive 1,666-entry field in the Zodiac Main Event, battling his way to a third-place finish for a slick ₹6.11 Lakhs—his third-biggest score on the platform.
Shreyansh Sharma, the 2024 POY #6, continued his blazing run. Having already won Natural8 India’s APL Series: Deepstack Highroller in January and PokerBaazi’s The Endeavour Lite just this past Tuesday, Sharma pulled off an amazing double whammy, taking down Adda52’s Godfather DPT Edition and Pocket52’s 7-Max Deepstack Turbo in one night! The domination began on Pocket52, where Sharma clinched his first-ever title on the platform, winning the 7-Max Deepstack Turbo for ₹1.18 Lakhs and finally swinging into profits there. Just hours later, he scored an even bigger win on Adda52 – shipping the Godfather DPT Edition for ₹3.33 Lakhs and his fourth title of 2025. With a total haul of ₹4.60 Lakhs for the night, he’s showing no signs of slowing down. Suraj N Yadav had a shot at ending a six-month dry spell but finished runner-up in the Godfather DPT Edition for ₹2.44 Lakhs – his second near-miss in this event.
Gaurav Sood—the legendary three-time POY champion—just keeps racking up the wins! Fresh off his Pocket52’s 7-Max Deepstack Turbo victory just two days ago, the Young Gun-turned-poker royalty added another title to his overflowing collection, crushing PokerBaazi’s WTF for the first time for ₹3.80 Lakhs. But that was not all. Sood went on a four-deep-run spree, raking in a total of ₹4.51 Lakhs for the day. Neeraj Sattawat, a former G.O.A.T. finalist and 2024 POY #11, also brought the heat in the WTF, pushing Sood to the limit before settling for ₹2.50 Lakhs as the runner-up and wrapping up his run with ₹2.62 Lakhs in total winnings.
Back on Natural8 India, Vinay B, fresh off a sixth-place finish in Wednesday’s Forty Stack 44, kept the momentum going with deep runs in two major tournaments. First, he battled through a 244-entry field in Midnight Madness II 88, finishing fourth for ₹1.64 Lakhs. Then, he kept the heater alive in Daily Hyper 50, outlasting 241 contenders to claim third place and ₹1.28 Lakhs, bringing his total haul for the night to ₹2.92 Lakhs.
Advait Rajguru is on a scorching streak! The 2024 POY #5 continued his dominance, grabbing yet another title. Fresh off victories in the Big Whale (Sunday) and WTF (Wednesday), Rajguru went back-to-back, conquering PokerBaazi’s Big PLO-5 for ₹2.20 Lakhs—his first-ever PLO flagship title and fifth six-figure PLO score. With ₹2.56 Lakhs in total winnings for the day, he’s already racked up over ₹44 Lakhs in 2025 and is making a serious run for the POY title. Narender Ahalawat, a PokerBaazi loyalist, almost snagged his first win of the year in the Big PLO-5, taking second place for ₹1.50 Lakhs—his third-best score on the platform this year. Ahalawat’s Thursday winnings climbed to ₹1.62 Lakhs across two deep runs!
And Thursday night wasn’t just about the established pros! The mysterious PokerBaazi ‘mythical,’ after building momentum with some great scores, roared back with a dominant performance, conquering PokerBaazi’s Summit Lite for ₹1.93 Lakhs—their first-ever flagship title on the platform, capping off the night with ₹2.22 Lakhs in total winnings. Meanwhile, Ashish Nailwal—a former The MoneyMaker runner-up and a four-time Daily Last Chance champion—almost grabbed the Summit Lite title, finishing second for ₹1.34 Lakhs—his second time finishing second in this event. With another deep run, Nailwal wrapped up the night with ₹1.40 Lakhs in total winnings.
Young Gun Anmol Mehta, the top Indian scorer in last month’s Poker Dream 15 Malaysia, ended an 11-week winless streak in style, conquering Junglee Poker’s Thursday Mini Highroller for ₹1.84 Lakhs—the same event he finished third in last week and his first recorded win on Junglee Poker in over nine months. Three other deep runs boosted his total Thursday winnings to ₹2.26 Lakhs. Hot on his heels, ‘IELA’ gave a solid chase, finishing runner-up in the Thursday Mini Highroller and pocketing ₹88,286.
Vishal Maharaj, the WPT#4 Milestone winner from early December, pulled off a stunning repeat victory in PokerBaazi’s Daily Last Chance, taking it down for the second consecutive night for ₹1.68 Lakhs. This was his fourth time winning this late-night flagship, and all three of his wins in 2025 have come in this very event! With an additional small cash, his total haul for the night reached ₹1.76 Lakhs. Trailing closely was Arjanveer Singh Chadha, the 2022 POY #3, who has returned from a 2.5-month hiatus with a vengeance! He came in hot off The Mint DPT Edition victory on Adda52, and another podium finish in PokerBaazi’s WTF on Wednesday. And he kept the heater going, completing a trifecta of podium finishes with a runner-up finish in the Daily Last Chance for ₹1.14 Lakhs, racking up almost ₹1.38 Lakhs across three deep runs!
And that’s not all! Natural8 India saw some more fireworks:
Thursday also saw impressive victories from Yash Jaiswal, Avnash Koneru, Rajneesh Thakur, and Sandeep Varma RS in the other marquee events.
Here are the Thursday highlights!

Rubin ‘kornkid’ Labroo is back, and he ensured everyone knew it! After a stretch of radio silence since his Summit Lite win three weeks ago, the Delhi poker whiz, having warmed up with a final table appearance in Adda52`s Maverick DPT Edition the night before, absolutely crushed it last night, taking down PokerBaazi`s ₹50 Lakhs GTD The Summit in his signature style. And as his buddy and poker veteran Dhaval Mudgal pointed out, it’s wedding season, with a bunch of poker pros recently getting hitched (including Akshay Nasa)! Labroo, despite being busy with wedding celebrations, still found the time to bink this Thursday night headliner for a mind-blowing seventh time!
The 8 PM primetime showdown was electric. Two hundred ninety-one hopefuls (493 total entries) jumped into what turned out to be an eight-hour war of attrition. But when the cards were down, Labroo’s killer instincts and veteran savvy sealed the deal. Four bullets, one epic title, and a whopping ₹7.50 Lakhs—his sixth-biggest score on the platform and second title of the year in the bag.
Labroo also snagged a score in the smaller Summit Lite (58th for ₹7,200), bringing his Thursday haul to nearly ₹7.57 Lakhs. That’s a pretty good day at the office, easily making him the top earner of the day on PokerBaazi.
> 1st in PokerBaazi’s The Summit for ₹7,50,000
> 58th in PokerBaazi’s Summit Lite for ₹7,200
Akshay ‘Akki16’ Choudhary was this close to glory in The Summit, which would have been his first win in over two months. Coming off a series of near misses, including a final table in the (7-Max) SPRINT and a runner-up finish in the Evening SPRINT, Choudhary was in scorching form. He battled hard in the high-stakes clash but had to settle for second place. Still, he walked away with a career-best ₹5.23 Lakhs – a considerable leap from his previous high of ₹3.47 Lakhs, which he snagged for conquering the BSS Big Bounty KO almost a year ago!
Akshay Choudhary’s PokerBaazi stats: Site Winnings: ₹81.01 Lakhs | Site Profits: ₹16.72 Lakhs
Shubham ‘NewBakchod’ Agarwal, riding the wave of a runner-up finish in the WTF the night before, kept the momentum going with another solid run in The Summit, finishing sixth for ₹2.01 Lakhs. Throw in another podium finish in Summit Lite, and he added almost ₹3.02 Lakhs to his recent breakout performance.
> 6th in PokerBaazi’s The Summit for ₹2,01,000
> 3rd in PokerBaazi’s Summit Lite for ₹1,00,800
Shubham Agarwal’s online stats (excluding Junglee Poker and Pocket52): Lifetime Winnings: ₹4.17 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹1.42 Crores
The Summit final table was stacked with regulars, making the late stages super tense. These included Wednesday`s Pocket Rockets finalist Wilson ‘kalingkaling’ Yomso (3rd for ₹3.95 Lakhs), Arjun ‘arr86’ Raghani (4th for ₹2.98 Lakhs), and Sandeep ‘PoKcey’ Singh (5th for ₹2.44 Lakhs).
With the DPT Xpress happening in Goa, there’s been a noticeable dip in online turnouts (a trend expected to continue this entire week). This was especially true in the ₹10,000 buy-in The Summit, which turned into a goldmine, offering insane value with a staggering ₹7.13 Lakhs overlay.
With a ₹50 Lakhs guaranteed prize pool, this tournament really delivered. Eighty-two players cashed, with payouts starting at ₹21,000—more than double the buy-in. It was an opportunity too good to pass up for those chasing big scores – just another example of the unmatched value and crazy action on India`s leading online poker platform!

Whenever Gaurav ‘gaug17’ Sood enters the field, you know fireworks are coming! Last night, this legendary three-time POY champion and the winningest player on our tracked database delivered yet another masterclass, proving once again why he’s at the top of the food chain. Currently dazzling us with his play in Season 2 of PokerBaazi’s ‘The Circuit’ (episodes still unfolding!), and just two days after crushing Pocket52’s 7-Max Deepstack Turbo, the Young Gun (now poker royalty) added another title to his overflowing trophy case with a sensational win in PokerBaazi’s ₹25 Lakhs GTD WTF. That’s another title and ₹3.80 Lakhs added to his already legendary poker resume!
Even with the DPT Xpress pulling players away from the online tables to the sunkissed shores of Goa, the 7:30 PM flagship still drew a respectable crowd of 443 players (818 total entries). After an intense eight-hour, 17-minute grind, Sood was the one left holding all the chips, finally adding the WTF title to his long list of poker accomplishments. And get this—it was his biggest score of the year so far!
Sood’s Friday session was scorching hot, with over ₹4.51 Lakhs in winnings across four deep runs. This stellar performance catapulted him to #50 on PokerBaazi’s ₹5 Crores 2025 Player of the Year Leaderboard.

He came so close to taking down WTF for the second time but had to settle for second place and ₹2.50 Lakhs. Sattawat also notched a deep run in Adda52’s Godfather DPT Edition (46th for ₹12,340), fattening his wallet with over ₹2.62 Lakhs.

The WTF final table was a battleground! Monday’s The Big Show finalist Anish ‘PapaNegreanu’ Arora (3rd for ₹1.85 Lakhs), Naman ‘namsbohra’ Bohra (6th for ₹95,750), and last night’s Monster Turbo PKO DPT Edition runner-up Sameer ‘tandoori’ Agarwal (7th for ₹75,000) all made deep runs.
Like the other big-ticket flagships, the ₹3,300 buy-in WTF saw a significant overlay of ₹1.52 Lakhs, with the top 118 finishers pocketing at least ₹7,500—more than double their buy-in, ensuring those who braved the competition were handsomely rewarded!

With the DPT Xpress live and kicking in Goa, online poker rooms are feeling the pinch. While some platforms are playing it safe with adjusted guarantees, not PokerBaazi! They’re serving up the same feast of big-ticket flagship events with those same juicy guarantees, ensuring the tournament crowd gets a taste of the best value and action on India’s leading online platform!
Among the primetime attractions on the platform was the ₹12 Lakhs GTD Summit Lite, a real battleground with 237 players (426 total entries) vying for the top spot. Amidst the sharks and hopefuls, a surprise hero emerged: ‘mythical.’ Playing on PokerBaazi for nearly two years and building on a podium finish in Blockbuster a couple of weeks ago, they pulled off something special last night, grabbing their first-ever flagship title on PokerBaazi.
This 7:30 PM fixture was a fast and furious showdown, wrapping up in just over six hours. While ‘mythical’s first attempt was unsuccessful, they reloaded with a second bullet and rode it all the way to victory, taking down a major win and a sweet ₹1.93 Lakhs payday.
Here’s the kicker: this score might have been ‘mythical’s first major title on the platform, but it didn’t even crack their top five scores! With a mind-blowing seven-figure podium finish in December’s WPT#25 HighRoller, a runner-up finish in November’s Blockbuster, and another final table appearance in The Big Show, it was only a matter of time before they took down a major title!
But ‘mythical’s Thursday grind wasn`t just about this win. They also made deep runs in The Summit and picked up another score in the WTF, bringing their total for the night to nearly ₹2.22 Lakhs.
> 1st in PokerBaazi’s Summit Lite for ₹1,93,200
> 81st in PokerBaazi’s The Summit for ₹21,000
> 99th in PokerBaazi’s WTF for ₹7,500
mythical’s PokerBaazi stats: Site Winnings: ₹45.48 Lakhs | Site Profits: ₹5.72 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2025: #1 | Moves to #64 on PokerBaazi`s 2025 POY Leaderboard
While ‘mythical’ was celebrating their breakthrough victory, Delhi’s Ashish ‘Notoriouskonvict’ Nailwal, a former The MoneyMaker runner-up and a four-time Daily Last Chance champion who has been crushing the online scene for the last four years, came chasing his first win in over a month. Returning to the grind after a two-week break, Nailwal almost snagged a win in Summit Lite right out of the gate, finishing second for a cool ₹1.34 Lakhs (his second runner-up finish in the event). With another cash finish in the Daily Last Chance (54th for ₹5,348), Nailwal padded his bankroll with almost ₹1.40 Lakhs.
Ashish Nailwal’s online stats (PokerBaazi, Adda52 and SpartanPoker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹4.08 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹1.27 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #1
The Summit Lite final table was a star-studded affair, featuring sharks like last night’s The Summit finalist Shubham ‘bakchod’ Agarwal, who finished third for ₹1,00,800. Site regular Inzemaam ‘Shavzz’ Husain took fourth for ₹72,000, while Thiyam ‘thiyam’ Dannish finished fifth for ₹57,600. Poker veteran Sahil ‘ImHighIshove’ Mahboobani exited in eighth place, adding a respectable ₹27,000 to his bankroll.
The overlay train made a stop at Summit Lite too. The ₹3,000 buy-in tournament fell short of its guarantee by ₹88,566. The top 61 places got a piece of the ₹10 Lakhs prize pool, each pocketing at least ₹7,200, keeping the action and rewards flowing all night long!

Advait ‘ExploitativeGTO’ Rajguru is playing a tune that’s got the virtual felt buzzing. He’s like a virtual pied piper, leading the charge with his captivating rhythm. If 2024 was his coming-out party, 2025 is him claiming his throne. Fresh off his victory in Adda52’s Big Whale—his second major title in as many Sundays—the 2024 POY #5 has been a poker force of nature. He crushed PokerBaazi’s WTF on Wednesday, and last night, he proved he’s not just a Hold’em hotshot. When the five-card PLO action got wild, Rajguru was right there, calling the shots.
As PokerBaazi ₹10 Lakhs GTD Big PLO-5 unfolded, the PokerGuru Staking coach was in his element. And wouldn’t you know it, just like almost all the big-ticket flagships last night, this 9 PM tournament got hit with a hefty overlay. The online turnouts took a big dip across the board with the DPT Xpress in full swing in Goa, drawing players away from the virtual tables. But that’s just the kind of thing that makes a player like Rajguru lick his chops. He rode his hot streak, dominating the 103-player field (185 total entries). Rajguru fired two bullets and never looked back. After six hours and 46 minutes of intense play, he stood tall, claiming his first-ever PLO flagship title and his fifth six-figure PLO score: a cool ₹2.20 Lakhs.
Rajguru has been on a tear since 2024. From making a splash in his PSL debut with the Pocket52 PSL Season 6 and steering the Deccan Aces to a record-extending victory to grabbing his career-best score in PokerBaazi’s IPM Big Value, he’s been a constant threat.
But he wasn’t done for the night. Just like the night before, he was hard at work, adding three more deep runs to his Thursday scorecard and boosting his total winnings for the day to over ₹2.56 Lakhs. Now, with ₹44 Lakhs in total winnings already in 2025, he’s sending a clear message: the POY crown is in his sights!
> 1st in PokerBaazi’s Big PLO-5 for ₹2,20,000
> 60th in PokerBaazi’s The Summit for ₹21,000
> 9th in Pocket52’s (7-Max) Deepstack Turbo for ₹11,750
> 15th in Adda52’s Monster Turbo PKO DPT Edition for ₹3,350
Advait Rajguru’s online stats (excluding Natural8 India, Junglee Poker and Pocket52): Lifetime Winnings: ₹11.60 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹4.15 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #4 | Annual Winnings: ₹43.67 Lakhs | Moves to #47 on PokerBaazi’s 2025 Player of the Year Leaderboard
Narender ‘Char8’ Ahalawat—a PokerBaazi regular since May 2023—chased down Rajguru all the way to the end. After winning the PLO-5 BOOST title and finishing fourth in the Blockbuster just a couple of weeks ago, Ahalawat was hungry for his first flagship win of 2025. He put up a strong fight in the Big PLO-5 but ultimately finished second for ₹1.50 Lakhs, his third-best score on the platform this year. A deep run in PokerBaazi’s Summit Lite (22nd for ₹12,000) added to his haul, bringing his Thursday total to ₹1.62 Lakhs, more than doubling his platform profits.
Narender Ahalawat’s PokerBaazi stats: Site Winnings: ₹72.57 Lakhs | Site Profit: ₹3.12 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2025: #1
The Big PLO-5 final table also featured some other strong players, including the ever-consistent Mahesh ‘mr12324’ Thakkar (3rd for ₹1 Lakh), Ridhav ‘Rids’ Chawla (4th for ₹71,300), and Anilkumar ‘jat777’ Singh (6th for ₹40,300).
And thanks to the DPT Xpress craze in Goa, Big PLO-5 saw a juicy ₹1.96 Lakhs overlay, a welcome bonus for the players. With a ₹5,000 buy-in, the top 27 players were guaranteed at least ₹12,000, making it an extra sweet deal for the PLO crowd.

They say lightning never strikes the same place twice, but try telling that to Vishal ‘VishalMaharaj’ Maharaj! The WPT#4 Milestone winner from early December pulled off the unthinkable, shipping PokerBaazi’s ₹10 Lakhs GTD Daily Last Chance on consecutive nights—this time bagging a sweet ₹1.68 Lakhs.
The 10:30 PM flagship was one of the few tournaments that escaped the overlay frenzy that swept through the virtual felts yesterday! But Maharaj was more than ready for the challenge. Sure, it took him three bullets to find his groove, but the third time proved to be the charm as he steamrolled the 299-player field (492 total entries) in a late-night battle that lasted just over six hours. This victory marks his fourth Daily Last Chance title, and here’s the kicker—all three of his 2025 wins have come in this very tournament! Looks like this late-night arena is his kingdom to rule!
Adding a small cash from PokerBaazi’s WTF (91st for ₹7,500), Maharaj wrapped up Thursday with almost ₹1.76 Lakhs added to his bankroll. Another run like this, and he’ll be back in the green online!
Vishal Maharaj’s online stats (PokerBaazi, Adda52 and Spartan Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹1.89 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #3
Arjanveer ‘holdbaby’ Singh Chadha, the 2022 POY #3, is another online crusher making waves. He might have been away from the virtual felt for 2.5 months, but his return has been nothing short of explosive. Right out of the gate, he won Adda52’s The Mint DPT Edition on Tuesday, followed by a third-place finish in the WTF on Wednesday. And he kept the heater going, completing a trifecta of podium finishes with a runner-up spot in the Daily Last Chance for ₹1.14 Lakhs.
Chadha also made deep runs in Adda52’s Godfather DPT Edition (20th for ₹16,188) and PokerBaazi’s WTF (90th for ₹7,500), bringing his Thursday total to over ₹1.38 Lakhs.
Arjanveer Singh Chadha’s online stats (excluding Natural8 India, Junglee Poker and Pocket52): Lifetime Winnings: ₹23.35 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹5.89 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #1

And while the other flagships across platforms were plagued by overlays, the ₹2,500 buy-in Daily Last Chance defied the trend, generating a ₹10.70 Lakhs prize pool. The top 78 finishers locked in at least ₹5,348—more than double the buy-in, making the late-night grind worth it for many players.

Thursday night was a champion’s homecoming on Junglee Poker for Young Gun Anmol ‘anzzzzz’ Mehta! The talented poker pro finally broke his 11-week winless streak since his PokerBaazi Summit Lite victory in November, taking down the ₹8 Lakhs GTD Thursday Mini Highroller for a sweet ₹1.84 Lakhs (₹1.02 Lakhs in bounties)—the very same event where he finished third just last week. More importantly, this victory was Mehta’s first win on the platform since his PPL#65 Sunday Special Knockout takedown in April!
This lawyer-turned-poker pro has had a successful start to 2025 – he was the top-earning Indian player at last month’s Poker Dream 15 Malaysia! He’s also been making waves online with solid finishes in flagship events like Blockbuster Highroller and Tuesday Phoenix on Junglee Poker in January! But last night, everything clicked. He battled through a field of 128 entries in the 8 PM marquee, playing with his signature flair over seven hours of intense action. This win not only adds a prestigious title to his collection but also gets him off the mark in the 2025 titles race.
And Mehta wasn’t just satisfied with one win. Three other deep runs added over ₹2.26 Lakhs to his Thursday winnings.
> 1st in Junglee Poker’s Thursday Mini Highroller for ₹1,83,608* (₹1,01,906 in bounties)
> 82nd in Junglee Poker’s The Summit for ₹21,000
> 29th in Adda52’s Godfather DPT Edition for ₹14,133
> 100th in PokerBaazi’s WTF for ₹7,500
Mehta wasn’t the only one making waves in the Thursday Mini Highroller. Mystery user ‘IELA’ also had a great run, finishing second for ₹88,286 (₹6,750 in bounties).
Indian poker royalty and three-time POY champ Young Gun Gaurav ‘Shinichi’ Sood also graced the Thursday Mini Highroller final table, finishing eighth for ₹30,391 (₹14,625 in bounties). He followed that up by taking down PokerBaazi`s WTF, wrapping up his night with over ₹4.51 Lakhs in total winnings across four deep runs.
The DPT Xpress craze also had a slight impact on the ₹6,900 buy-in Thursday Mini Highroller, which escaped with a minor ₹32,000 overlay on its ₹8 Lakhs guarantee. Nevertheless, the top 13 players cashed, each taking home at least ₹10,150 from the ₹4.16 Lakhs cash prize pool. While the rest of us hit the snooze button, Shreyansh ‘halifax7701’ Sharma is just getting started. This Kolkata-based poker sensation was one of the biggest revelations of 2024, and his late-December heater—highlighted by a jaw-dropping ₹1.54 Crore score on Natural8 India—landed him a stunning #6 finish in the record-breaking 2024 Player of the Year race. He racked up a mind-boggling ₹4.40 Crores in recorded winnings in 2024, with ₹3.45 Crores in profits—a performance that had everyone talking.
And 2025? He’s not even thinking about hitting the brakes. After conquering Natural8 India’s APL Series: Deepstack Highroller in January and PokerBaazi’s The Endeavour Lite just this past Tuesday, Sharma was back at it again on Thursday night, pulling off a double whammy—conquering Adda52’s ₹17.50 Lakhs GTD Godfather DPT Edition and Pocket52’s 7-Max Deepstack Turbo like it was no big deal.
The 7-Max Deepstack Turbo, the 7 PM Pocket52 marquee event, was the first battlefield, and Sharma came to play. He fired three bullets, tearing through a 219-entry field (119 unique) in six hours and 17 minutes. His relentless aggression and pinpoint decision-making paid off. He snagged his first-ever Pocket52 title, banking ₹1.18 Lakhs and officially getting back in the black on the platform.
Just a few hours after his 7-Max Deepstack Turbo triumph, Sharma was simultaneously tearing it up in the night’s biggest attraction on Adda52—the Godfather DPT Edition. And this was no ordinary tournament. The 8 PM headliner was a real slugfest, with a stacked field of 148 players (315 total entries) all vying for the top spot.
Sharma didn’t need any re-buys or second chances. He played a near-flawless, calculated game, building his stack, applying relentless pressure, and taking down one opponent after another. Hours later, he stood alone as the champion, pocketing ₹3.33 Lakhs and his fourth title of 2025.
As if two major titles weren’t enough, Sharma also cashed in PokerBaazi’s Summit Lite, finishing 26th for ₹9,600, bringing his Thursday winnings to a grand total of ₹4.60 Lakhs.
> 1st in Adda52’s Godfather DPT Edition for ₹3,32,696
> 1st in Pocket52’s 7-Max Deepstack Turbo for ₹1,17,650
> 26th in PokerBaazi’s Summit Lite for ₹9,600

Suraj ‘MRvBEAST’ N Yadav, a familiar name in big tournaments, was also hunting for a win after a six-month dry spell. The Bengaluru online pro nearly did it with a fantastic run in Godfather. He fought hard but lost the heads-up battle to Sharma, finishing second in this Thursday night headliner for the second time. Still, he walked away with his biggest score of the year so far: ₹2.44 Lakhs.
Suraj N Yadav’s online stats (excluding Natural8 India, Junglee Poker and Pocket52): Lifetime Winnings: ₹4.61 Crores | Lifetime Winnings: ₹6.78 Lakhs
The Godfather DPT Edition final table was a battle royale of epic proportions, with top players like MTT crusher and recent The Endeavour Lite finalist Ashish ‘ragspoker’ Munot (3rd for ₹1.79 Lakhs), last week’s WTF champion Bharat ‘rungooserun’ Vasan (5th for ₹96,041), and yesterday’s Thursday Thunder champion, the always-dangerous Yash ‘gambler11’ Jaiswal (6th for ₹51,602) all throwing down the gauntlet.
The DPT Xpress effect was felt across the online platforms, with widespread overlays. Even the ₹5,750 buy-in Godfather wasn’t immune, falling short of the guarantee by ₹1.75 Lakhs. But this just meant more value for the players. The top 47 finishers earned at least ₹12,340, guaranteeing a profit even for those who barely made the money, capping off another nitro-fueled night on Adda52.

Praveen ‘pinawxd’ KR, a player who usually sticks to the low-to-mid stake, is on a heater that’s impossible to ignore. After kicking off 2025 with wins in Adda52’s Nighttide DST Adda and PokerBaazi’s Daily Morning SPRINT, Praveen carried his hot streak into February, scoring a double victory in Adda52’s ₹50K GTD Bounty Adda and Pocket52’s ₹8 Lakhs GTD Pocket Magnets last night! And it wasn’t just about the two titles – he went on a multi-platform scoring spree, with a remarkable 12 deep runs and three additional final table appearances, adding up to over ₹2.50 Lakhs – a well-deserved reward for his relentless grind. His two-title run made him only the second player, after Shreyansh Sharma, to achieve this feat last night.
His first win of the night came in the 10 PM Bounty Adda. He sliced through a 101-entry field, winning his fifth Bounty Adda title and ₹16,791 (₹9,138 in bounties).
But that was just a taste of what was to come. As the celebrations for his first win were winding down, Praveen KR was already deep in a bigger battle: Pocket52’s Pocket Magnets! With 255 entries (139 unique) making up the stacked field, this wasn’t going to be a walk in the park. He had a bumpy start with two early eliminations, but his third bullet proved to be the charm as he navigated the field in just under 7.5 hours, clinching his first-ever Pocket52 title and a hefty ₹1.88 Lakhs payday. This was his largest score on Pocket52 and his best score of 2025, swinging him into the green on the platform.

While Praveen KR was busy celebrating his epic double victory, Ashish ‘AK19’ Kumar, the NPS India 2024 Main Event runner-up—who himself scored back-to-back wins in PokerBaazi’s Summit Lite and Pocket52’s Pocket Magnets last Thursday—was looking to defend his Pocket Magnets title. Kumar, currently grinding in Goa at the DPT Xpress, fell just shy of a repeat victory, banking a respectable ₹1.32 Lakhs in second place, still his fourth-best score on Pocket52.
Kumar also made the most of his night with deep runs in four other events, racking up almost ₹1.55 Lakhs in total!

The Pocket Magnets final table was a tough one, featuring strong performances from Sanket ‘shanky77’ Chougule (3rd for ₹84,960), Tanbir ‘Jatt6414’ Singh (4th for ₹62,880), recent The Big Show finalist ‘High Roller Specialist’ Karan ‘WoW4bet’ Sitlani (5th for ₹47,200), and Wednesday’s Pocket Bullets finalist Aditya ‘TimeLoop’ Kulkarni (8th for ₹25,120).
The DPT Xpress effect was also felt in the ₹3,300 buy-in Pocket Magnets, which fell ₹68,150 short of its ₹8 Lakhs guarantee, creating a juicy overlay for the players. The top 27 finishers made the money, with min-cashes starting at ₹6,640. This kind of value, combined with the thrill of competition, is what’s made Pocket52 a favourite among tournament grinders, especially with India`s only cryptographically secured network putting up over ₹5.50 Crores in guarantees across its tournaments this month!
