The virtual temperatures went soaring yesterday, with Thursday bringing with it an action-packed day of tournament action.

Young Gun Sahil Chutani topped the Thursday charts with a whopping ₹14.32 in total winnings. The poker coach almost won two FTS medallions last night but what stood out was his smashing run in Spartan Poker’s FTS#28 – Monster Stack. He won the Thursday flagship for 10.67 Lakhs, lapping up his first FTS gold medallion. The two-time Sunday Special PKO winner Mahesh Shyamsundar collected a career-best 6.76 Lakhs in second place.

The former FTS Challenger winner Rohan Bhasin bagged the NPS gold medal after taking down PokerBaazi’s NPS#25 Deepstack Championship (7-Max) for an impressive 10.29 Lakhs. The NPS#14 Tuesday Tee-Off champion Dhiraj Lakhotia placed runner-up for 7.21 Lakhs.

This week`s Adda52 Millions third-place finisher Rahul Singroha came out on top in Adda52’s Godfather to win 6.13 Lakhs. Amrit Mishra came second for 3.58 Lakhs.

The defending NPS Main Event champion Mohammad Azhar got his hands on his first FTS silver medallion in Spartan Poker`s FTS#29, netting 5.36 Lakhs.

Gautam Rohilla made quite the splash last night, cashing 18 NPS events for ₹6.29 Lakhs collectively, climbing to the #1 position in the series’ leaderboard standings. Rohilla bagged his first NPS gold medal in NPS#24 Thursday Mega Rally for 2.77 Lakhs following a heads-up deal with PokerGuru Ambassador Rony Chowdhury (2nd for 2.82 Lakhs).

Nitin Rawat lapped up his second FTS silver medallion in FTS#27, banking 2.35 Lakhs. His stream of FT finishes has catapulted him into a commanding lead in the FTS leaderboard race.

Shagun Jain (Won NPS #26 PLO Slam Dunk for 1.94 Lakhs), PokerGuru Ambassador Arjanveer Singh Chadha (Won NPS #27 SPRINT for 1.65 Lakhs), and ‘Dr19sidhu’ (Won NPS #23 Relay 6-Max for 94,824) won the other NPS titles of the day.

Nitin Arora was the last player standing in PokerStars India’s Highroller and won 1.54 Lakhs. He struck a three-way deal with Rishab Malik (2nd for 1.56 Lakhs) and Anurag Srivastava (3rd for 1.56 Lakhs).

Young Gun Siddharth Karia, Gurpal Singh, Mohit Kumar Singh (two titles), Ram Kakkar, Abhiroop Gupta, Siddharth Kumar, Nitesh Mallanar, Nitin Gupta, and Clinton Tavares won the other Thursday marquees.
