Finally! The much-anticipated Final Table Series 4.0 is underway on Spartan Poker (and partner sites BLITZPOKER and PokerHigh). Friday night belonged to the Young Guns as most of the flagships were shipped by them!

Day 1 of FTS 4.0 was action-packed, and Young Gun Sanat Mehrotra emerged as the day’s biggest winner. The IIT-IIM alumni championed the day`s 8 PM flagship ₹50 Lakhs GTD FTS #3 – Friday Special for ₹9.70 Lakhs. PokerGuru Ambassador Vivek Singh finished runner-up for ₹6.15 Lakhs.

Young Gun Kanchan Sharma is on a heater of a lifetime. After a thundering Thursday that saw her take down Adda52’s Godfather and PokerStars India’s Highroller, she was back with a flashy Friday. The Agra girl kept her winning streak going as she took down Adda52’s The Ballers for ₹5.75 Lakhs and ended the night with ₹6.28 Lakhs in total winnings. Her phenomenal run in the last two days has pushed her to the #8 spot in the annual leaderboard rankings.

The third Young Gun on the elite winner’s list was Devang Yadav. The IIT Delhi passout shipped PokerBaazi’s The Weekly Highroller for ₹4.90 Lakhs. Harshad Barve came second for ₹3.44 Lakhs.

PokerGuru Ambassador Laksh Pal Singh was another Young Gun grabbing the Friday headlines as he took down PokerStars India’s Super Highroller for ₹2.30 Lakhs – his eighth time winning a High Roller title on the site. Dhinesh Kumar collected ₹2.25 Lakhs in second place after agreeing to a heads-up chop.

Siddharth Kadel, Arnav Sharma, Narendra Valuurupalli, Rumit Khade, Ashit Sharma, Mohak Kapoor, Nitin Rawat, Kapil Sethi, Gurpal Singh, Ravindra Arikeri, and Karan Malhotra won the other Friday marquees!

The much-awaited FTS 4.0 finally got underway yesterday. The mega series had five events on the tap, four of which crowned champions.

The user ‘Achilles1001’ (266,618) bagged the day’s most enormous stack, followed by Young Gun Neel ‘Worm33’ Joshi (207,825) and ‘sariyaa’ (188,306).

There are another three starting flights yet to run, with Day 1B slated to kick off at 7 PM today.

Kicking off FTS 4.0 on a solid note was the ₹50 Lakhs GTD FTS #3 – Friday Special. The ₹11,000 buy-in event roped in 499 participants, falling just one entry short of the break-even mark. After nearly nine hours of play, Young Gun Sanat ‘orhem3001’ Mehrotra was the last player standing, and he took home an impressive ₹9.70 Lakhs payday, also his best-recorded finish on Spartan Poker.

This was the former Full House Finale winner`s third title win of 2022. The win brought Sanat Mehrotra an FTS Gold Medallion, and a seat on the ₹10 Lakhs added FTS Master Table.
