The virtual action came down a notch on Monday, with the WPT Online India (WPTOI) series adding color to an otherwise slow day.
Last week’s WPT Deepstack champion C Satish took down the WPT Monday Feature 6-Max on Adda52 for ₹3.75 Lakhs and his second WPT trophy at the series. Jagat Bhandari (2nd for ₹2.27 Lakhs) and Rachit Rana (3rd for ₹1.65 Lakhs) made podium finishes.
The former Full House champion, Young Gun Sanat Mehrotra, championed the other WPT headliner, the WPT Table for 6, for ₹1.89 Lakhs.
PokerGuru Ambassador Ratul Steves shipped Spartan Poker’s ReCharge for the second time this year for ₹1.28 Lakhs following a four-way deal with Sagar Choudhury, Nitin Arora, and Debashis Bal.
PokerBaazi user ‘awarahoon’ won The Big Show for a personal-best ₹1.66 Lakhs. Aditya Kulkarni placed runner-up for ₹1.16 Lakhs (his third time taking second place in the event).
Anirban Das, Kasvajhala Vasistavamsi Krishna, Himanshu Bagdwal, Vikram Pratapdan Langa, Ravi Jain, Dhaval Heda, Jimmy Arora, Soumya Keshri, Rohan Sahni, Hemant Meena, Kunal Yadav & Mohith Vamshi won the other marquees.

Spartan Poker
Spartan Poker’s Monday mainstay, the ₹2,200 entry buy-in ReCharge, crushed its ₹8 Lakhs prize pool guarantee by ₹52,000 after roping in 426 participants. The event played down to a four-way deal, and the former Value Bomb winner PokerGuru Ambassador Ratul ‘Atriohm’ Steves walked away with the title and ₹1.28 Lakhs in prize money. This win was Steves’ second time winning the ReCharge title. He had won the IOPC#30 ReCharge on January 18 for ₹4.45 Lakhs. It was also his third title victory of the year, boosting his lifetime tally to ₹4.10 Crores (₹1.66 Crores in net profits).
Sagar ‘maniacmachi’ Choudhury (2nd for ₹1.07 Lakhs), Nitin ‘Demogorgon’ Arora (3rd for ₹1.01 Lakhs), and Debashis ‘dev255-pg1’ Bal (4th for ₹97,728) were the other beneficiaries of the FT deal.
The recent 7 Crore Club entrant, Sagar Choudhury, made two top finishes last night for ₹1.60 Lakhs in cumulative earnings.

The win was a much-needed one for Krishna, who sits on site-losses over ₹6.70 Lakhs! The ₹1,100 entry buy-in event collected a ₹4.64 Lakhs prize pool after logging in 464 entrants, and the top 39 places boarded the money bus.
Vikram ‘Tatvmasi’ Pratapdan Langa (Won Monster Stack ₹2.75 Lakhs GTD for ₹60,913), ‘Soldout’ (Won Ultimate PLO ₹1.25 Lakhs GTD for ₹49,770), and ‘ZASS’ (Won Night Rider – Monster Stack ₹2.1 Lakhs GTD for ₹48,825) took down the other Spartan Poker marquees!

PokerBaazi returned with its micro-stakes Baazi Grinders Series that offers ₹50 Lakhs in guaranteed prizes across 42 value-laden events, and Monday marked Day 1 of the series.
The biggest draw on the site was the ₹7.50 Lakhs GTD The Big Show. The Monday primetime event registered 267 entries, overlaying ₹82,500. The user ‘awarahoon’ shipped the event to collect a personal-best (on PokerBaazi) ₹1.66 Lakhs. The site-reg Aditya ‘adit11’ Kulkarni came second for ₹1.16 Lakhs.

On its final week, the World Poker Tour Online India (WPTOI) series had 10 events on the tap on Day 23 and crowned eight champions.
C ‘csat82’ Satish conquered the featured tournament of the day, the ₹15 Lakhs GTD WPT Monday Feature 6-Max to win ₹3.75 Lakhs and his second WPT trophy at the series. Jagat ‘jk307’ Bhandari (2nd for ₹2.27 Lakhs) and Rachit ‘faujidhaba’ Rana (3rd for ₹1.65 Lakhs) secured podium finishes in the Monday headliner.
Last week, Satish won the WPT Deepstack and now boasts ₹16.67 Lakhs in recorded winnings on Adda52.

Speaking of the WPT Main Event, yesterday, the ₹3 Crores GTD extravaganza hosted its second starting flight, i.e., Day 1B. The flight ran from 8 PM to 12:10 AM and registered 69 entries, with only five runners making it through to Day 2. The inaugural IOPC Mastermind Aniket ‘anteman’ Waghmare (406,438), Young Gun Anmol ‘anzzzzz’ Mehta (320,071), and Sanat Mehrotra (180,507) topped the day-end chip counts.
The marathon tournament, the ₹1 Crore GTD WPT Unreal hosted its 24th flight on Monday. The event recorded 253 entries, and 33 players progressed to Day 2. ‘spd304’ (299,562), ‘punjabimunda7489’ (280,568), and ‘chirandh’ (252,798) bagged the three most enormous stacks of the day.
