The major poker platforms all seem to be running a series catering to the mid-low stakes players. As for the Tuesday flagships, most of them had to fill in hefty overlays. The day clearly belonged to Armaan Kochhar, who picked up an incredible seven FT scores that included the Uppercut Mini title.

The Tuesday flagship at Spartan Poker, the ₹18 Lakhs GTD Mega Stack, logged in 554 entries to fall ₹1.38 Lakhs short of its listed guarantee. It took a little over seven hours for Amarjeet ‘superchor89’ Singh to come out on top. He added ₹2.93 Lakhs to his poker bankroll after cutting a heads-up deal with ‘Akhil041188’ (runner-up for ₹2.77 Lakhs). Singh has recently made a couple of deep runs; the most prominent of them was his runner-up finish in Adda52’s Godfather on September 25 for ₹3.89 Lakhs.

The ₹7 Lakhs GTD The Race wrangled in 424 entries to post an overlay of ₹64,000. After almost seven-and half hours of play, mystery user ‘ingloriousbasterds’ championed the tourney to win their second-best score on Spartan Poker worth

After deciding upon a heads-up deal, anonymous user ‘Noobdaddy7’ took down the title for a site-best score of ₹97,418. Vinay ‘Dhanraj Seth’ Choudhry finished runner-up for ₹90,149.

PokerStars India has set the trend of hosting two ₹5 Lakhs GTD tourneys on Tuesdays, and yesterday was no different.

The ₹2,750 entry buy-in Uppercut Mini attracted 197 entries – falling three entries short of its guarantee. For the second day running, Armaan ‘armaan007111’ Kochhar charted a phenomenal run on the site as he topped the competition to win ₹94,585 after striking a heads-up deal with Abhijeet ‘sexylady7766’ Kumar (runner-up for ₹61,959).

Kochhar has been putting in crazy volume in online MTT`s with fantastic success. On Monday, he posted 5 FT finishes that included a title score, and there was no let-up in his form on Tuesday. In fact, he improved upon the previous day`s run by making seven final table appearances that once again included one title victory, pocketing a cumulative ₹2.30 Lakhs. Out of the seven FT finishes, six of them were recorded on PokerStars India.

This event was part of PokerStars India’s “Star of the Month” Week 2 leaderboard, and all ITM finishers collected leaderboard points.

Headlining the Tuesday MTT line-up on PokerBaazi was the ₹15 Lakhs GTD Endeavour. A turnout of 423 entries translated into a marginal ₹19,500 shortfall that the site had to fill. Young Gun Ujjwal ‘Mr_Robot’ Narwal topped the competition to win ₹3.02 Lakhs even as runner-up Ayush ‘Proman502’ Garg added ₹2.11 Lakhs to his burgeoning bankroll.

Narwal picked up a second FT score yesterday, placing 7th in PokerStars India’s Sixth Sense for ₹16,519.

The ₹3 Lakhs GTD Tuesday MonsterStack logged in 134 entries, falling sixteen entries short on its 150-player guarantee. Veer ‘Ragnarok1892’ Kaushal outlasted the competition to win ₹80,400 with Ram ‘mowgumotu’ Kakkar finishing runner-up for ₹56,310.

Adda52’s ₹35 Lakhs GTD Nano Main Event pulled in 201 entries on Day 1B, a substantial improvement over the 121 entries on Day 1A. The day ended after three hours and 19 minutes of play, with 26 survivors making it across to Day 2. Leading them was ‘BulletsBaby’ (362,470), with Aniket ‘anteman’ Waghmare (326,137) and ‘arusharma’ (207,816) rounding out the day`s top three stacks.
