After a relatively slow Wednesday, the action on the virtual felts charged up on Thursday, thanks to the ₹1.25 Crores GTD IOPC #107 – Super High Roller. The mega event saw the former SSS – Millionaire champion Saurabh Rohila climb to the top of a 139-entry field to collect his fourth IOPC title and a career-best ₹34.97 Lakhs in prize money. What’s more incredible is that Rohila had entered the ₹1.05 Lakh buy-in event after winning a ₹4,400 satellite!

Siddharth Gangwar has been a name we have been writing about quite frequently over the past few months. Holding on to his consistency, Gangwar finished runner-up in the IOPC SHR for a personal-best ₹23.63 Lakhs, storming into the top five in the annual leaderboard rankings.

Arun Sriram (3rd for ₹15.36 Lakhs), ‘ladynorthtower’ (4th for ₹12.72 Lakhs), and PokerGuru Ambassador Deepankur Gupta (4th for ₹10.26 Lakhs) were others who final tabled the IOPC SHR, banking seven-figure scores.

Speaking of spectacular performances, we must talk about the fantastic Thursday runs of Young Gun Sanat Mehrotra and Sreekanth Narayan. Both players clinched two flagship titles each last night.

Sanat Mehrotra shipped Adda52’s Godfather for the fourth time last night for ₹6.12 Lakhs shortly after taking down PokerStars India’s Highroller (On-time Rake Refund) for ₹2.09 Lakhs a few hours earlier. The IIT-IIM alumni cumulatively added ₹8.85 Lakhs across his Thursday run.

It’s been a while since we saw Sweden-based pro Abhishek Rathod among the winners. The renowned poker coach won PokerBaazi’s The Summit for ₹4.59 Lakhs and raked in ₹4.73 Lakhs across his Thursday grind.

Akshay Nasa (Won IOPC #106 – Thursday Prime for ₹7.53 Lakhs), ‘WhatIffGawd’ (IOPC #109 – All-Rounder for ₹2.01 Lakhs), Vishal Krishna (Won ₹4.50 Lakhs GTD IOPC #102 for ₹87,705), ‘Aaces21’ (Won IOPC #103 for ₹88,901), Gopal Bajaj (Won IOPC #104 for ₹77,702), and Jaya Bharathkumar Prajapati (Won IOPC #105 for ₹89,144) won the other IOPC titles yesterday.
