It’s been a hectic fortnight for online grinders with the first-ever National Poker Series (NPS) dishing out massive cash prizes and medals daily. Friday ended up being the perfect prelude to a blockbuster NPS finale coming up on Sunday! As the ₹3 Crores GTD The NPS Main Event and the ₹1 Crore GTD Golden Rush continued to bring in numbers through starting flights, Spartan Poker’s The Millionaire also played out its second starting flight last night.

Speaking of wins, the former SSS ‘The Millionaire’ champion Saurabh Rohila landed the biggest Friday score as he outran a 352-player field to win Spartan Poker’s The Elite for ₹7.80 Lakhs.

Another player who stands out for his stellar Friday run is Mohammad Azhar. Azhar had started NPS on a winning note by shipping the multi-flight NPS Kick-Off on June 16 and became the first player to bag a second NPS Gold Medal after taking down the NPS #79 Friday Force for ₹7.07 Lakhs. While he closed out Friday with ₹7.44 Lakhs in collective winnings, two flagship NPS titles have catapulted Azhar to the top of the NPS Podium Leaderboard standings, with 20 points!

Vinayak Bajaj, one of the top scorers last Friday, continued his hot run after placing runner-up in the NPS #79 Friday Force for ₹4.96 Lakhs, in all adding ₹5.02 Lakhs.

Young Gun Ujjwal Narwal bagged his second flagship title of the month after taking down The Ballers for ₹5.79 Lakhs.

Harrish Chaudary won a personal-best ₹3.19 Lakhs and his first NPS Gold Medal in the NPS#81 Sprint for ₹3.19 Lakhs. Vivekk ‘Vivek25’ Dube placed runner-up for ₹2.23 Lakhs.

Jagdeep Singh, the skipper of Team India that recently won the IFMP Nation’s Cup Qualifiers, is known for his high-stakes PLO skills. Singh proved his mettle in the OFC format last night as he championed the OFC Fantasy Series Day 1 headliner, the ₹8 Lakhs GTD OFC Fantasy Series #3 High Roller on Spartan Poker for ₹2.33 Lakhs.

Prince Singh (Won NPS#78 MegaStack for ₹1.73 Lakhs), Suneeth Kalmady (Won NPS #76 Deep Dive for ₹95,086), and ‘dejavutilt’ (Won PokerStars India’s Uppercut for ₹76,547) took down the other Friday marquees.
