Saurabh Rohila continues to be the biggest story this month! The 29-year-old freshly-minted IOPC – The Crown champion kept his heater going by winning Spartan Poker`s Tuesday High Roller for ₹5.62 Lakhs (he won ₹5.77 Lakhs overall) and stormed his way into the top five of the annual leaderboard rankings. The IOPC – The Crown finalist Shrey Baj collected ₹3.81 Lakhs in second place.
The HU SnG reg Tanmay Bhalerao finally clinched the long-overdue victory in Spartan Poker’s Mega Stack, spinning up a ₹220 satellite buy-in into his best finish of the year worth ₹3.53 Lakhs. He made another deep run in the Tuesday High Roller (8th for ₹70,422), banking ₹4.24 Lakhs overall.
Online reg Vinayak Bajaj shipped PokerBaazi’s The Endeavour for the second time last night for ₹3.02 Lakhs, while Manish Lakhotia came second for ₹2.11 Lakhs. Bajaj made another two ITM runs, making away with ₹4.14 Lakhs in Tuesday winning.
The ever-consistent Harsh Bubna fired up deep runs across all the top sites yesterday, filling in a hefty ₹3.46+ Lakhs overall. He most prominently won Adda52’s The Mint for ₹2.86 Lakhs following a heads-up deal with “sunny73” (2nd for ₹2.85 Lakhs).
The recent IOPC – PLO High Roller winner Karan Kapur added another High Roller title to his poker resume last night after making the victory march in PokerStars India’s Bounty Builder HR (On-time Rake Refund) for ₹2.58 Lakhs. Sahil Mahboobani placed runner-up for ₹1.35 Lakhs (₹2.92 Lakhs overall).
