The Tuesday MTTs pulled in hundreds of players, regs, and amateurs alike. Here is a recap of all that went down across the major online platforms.
Spartan Poker
Offering the best tournament action in the country, Spartan Poker returned with the MegaStack ₹25 Lakhs GTD on Tuesday. The flagship tourney recorded 848 entries (391 unique, 184 re-entries, and 273 rebuys), collecting a prize pool worth ₹25.44 Lakhs. Sprinting his way to the top of the field was Gaurav ‘Gaush’ Sharma, who beat out ‘bullets777’ heads-up. The duo shook hands on a deal that saw the former take down the title, and the top prize of ₹4.15 Lakhs.
‘bullets777’ finished a close second for ₹3.80 Lakhs. This for Sharma was his biggest single score on Spartan Poker, improving upon his previous best seventh-place finish in The Elite from last month.
PokerGuru Ambassador Ashish ‘Donkey 07’ Munot, who finished runner-up in the AOPS Bambolim yesterday, was also in the running to win the MegaStack title. He eventually placed third for ₹2.19 Lakhs. His phenomenal run last night saw his posting a 48th place finish in the INCOOP-28 Sixth Sense as well for ₹7,263. In total, he pocketed over ₹4 Lakhs in cash prizes yesterday making him one of the biggest Tuesday winners.
Like the MegaStack, The Race ₹10 Lakhs GTD also crushed its guarantee by logging in 687 entries (335 unique, 91 re-entries, and 261 rebuys) to generate a prize pool worth ₹10.30 Lakhs.
