Another hectic Thursday grind is over, with most of the flagships crushing their respective guarantees. Top MTT pros Shashank Jain, Sumit Sapra, and PokerGuru Ambassador Vivek Singh, all picked up a title each yesterday. Here is a recap of all the action!

Spartan Poker

The biggest guarantee tourney to play out on Spartan Poker was the ₹20 Lakhs GTD Ultron, which logged in 601 entries to collect a guarantee-crushing ₹24.04 Lakhs prize pool. The heads-up clash for the title took place between Sumit ‘Sands Myth’ Sapra (ranked #7 on the monthly leaderboard) and Wednesday’s Destiny champion ‘icantwin.’ Sapra eventually came on top and won ₹4.66 Lakhs, while the latter settled for a ₹2.95 Lakhs payday.

The ₹6 Lakhs GTD Monster Stack crushed its posted guarantee on the back of a field of 417 entries, and the top 39 places took a bite out of the ₹8.34 Lakhs prize pool. A mystery player ‘Hellblazer’ championed the event for ₹1.35 Lakhs following a three-way deal with ‘Mr vishnani’ (2nd for ₹1.16 Lakhs) and ‘corona virus’ (3rd for ₹1.07 Lakhs).

PokerBaazi

The Thursday flagship at PokerBaazi, the ₹15 Lakhs GTD The Summit, was taken down by an anonymous player ‘saranraj1987,’ who defeated Vikranth ‘borntrouble’ Varma (runner-up for ₹3.31 Lakhs) heads-up to win ₹4.72 Lakhs. The event logged in 285 entries, and the top 36 places got a piece of the ₹21.38 Lakhs prize pool.

Adda52

Adda52’s Thursday headliner, the ₹30 Lakhs GTD AOPS Super Game, clocked in 277 entries, with each of them ponying up the ₹15,000 buy-in to help collect a guarantee-crushing ₹37.39 Lakhs. Once the last hand was dealt, it was site regular ‘pokraj’ who had all the chips in play and walked away with the title and the ₹9.18 Lakhs top prize.

Harshit ‘Hashstack’ Chopra finished runner-up for ₹6.63 Lakhs.

It was a bumper Thursday on Adda52 as the site had not one but two ₹30 Lakhs GTD tourneys on the schedule. The site`s Thursday mainstay, the ₹30 Lakhs GTD AOPS Godfather, recorded 662 entries to accumulate ₹33.10 Lakhs in the prize pool. After almost nine hours of intense action, the gold went to high stakes crusher Shashank ‘felter’ Jain, who won ₹7.61 Lakhs. The New Delhi-based poker pro defeated Puneet ‘j4jolly’ Mishra (runner-up for ₹4.39 Lakhs) heads-up to win the title.
