Wednesday saw a similar response to Tuesday in terms of player turnouts, with the vast majority of the day’s flagships falling under the overlay avalanche. Spartan Poker’s The Millionaire Series continues to march ahead in full steam and the weekend roster looks to be a real crowd-puller!

Spartan Poker’s The Millionaire Series played out another three tourneys on Day 3, completing nine tourneys in total. Dominating the day`s schedule was the ₹35 Lakhs GTD Millionaire Series #8. The 8 PM tourney logged in 641 entries, overlaying ₹2.95 Lakhs. After firing four bullets, the former Two of a Kind & SSS – The Millionaire X5 champion Siddarth ‘PeterPunter’ Singhvi, took down the tourney for ₹6.09 Lakhs. He struck a heads-up deal with ‘rnbice’ (runner-up for ₹4.95 Lakhs).
Singhvi had won the site’s FTS #5 Monster Stack on November 19 for ₹11.55 Lakhs and Adda52’s WPT Deepstack for ₹4.15 Lakhs on November 18. The two-time WPT India champion found his way back on the podium after 20 days, pushing his lifetime scores to ₹4.67 Crores. The victory also helped him storm his way into the top 15 of the annual leaderboard with ₹2.54 Crores in recorded winnings for the year.
The second featured tourney of the day, the ₹12 Lakhs GTD Millionaire Series #7, saw birthday boy Sandeep ‘SandeeSingh’ Singh decimating a field of 454 entries, including Sidhartha ‘mainhunfish’ Tulsyan (runner-up for ₹1.60 Lakhs) in the heads-up play to capture the title and ₹2.41 Lakhs in first-place prize money. Singh, a former MoneyMaker winner and last week`s Destiny champion, posted a second FT score in the Millionaire Series#9, placing eighth for ₹22,811. The online reg’s overall earnings have reached ₹1.2 Crores after his Wednesday night run.
Starting out at 10 PM, the ₹10 Lakhs GTD Millionaire #9 registered 667 entries, collecting ₹10.01 Lakhs in the prize pool. After almost six hours of play, Vinil Kumar ‘Glv’ Yenamala navigated their way to the top to win a site-best ₹1.63 Lakhs. The player struck a heads-up deal with Rajeev ‘onlywinner007’ Atal (runner-up for ₹1.53 Lakhs). Yenamala had won the Flash on November 30 for ₹92,150 and has worked up ₹3.67 Lakhs in recorded winnings on Spartan Poker.
PokerStars India
PokerStars India’s Wednesday primetime tourney, the ₹5 Lakhs GTD Night on Stars, brought together 320 contenders (169 unique and 151 re-entries) to post a prize pool worth ₹5.09 Lakhs. It was 3:14 AM on Thursday when the top two finishers decided to chop the prize money. Nishant ‘Balaark’ Pandey came out on top to win the tourney for the second time this year, winning ₹79,216. Simultaneously, runner-up Yash ‘hasyY@$#116’ Shrivastava walked away with the biggest slice of the prize pool worth ₹86,517.
The other ₹5 Lakhs GTD tourney running on PokerStars India, the Big Bubble Rush, was taken down by ‘raghav1990,’ who topped 185 entries to win ₹1.16 Lakhs. ‘rish7777’ finished runner-up for ₹40,326 even as the top 41 finishers took a stab at the ₹5.38 Lakhs prize pool.
The ₹1 Lakh GTD Big Stack Turbo got underway at its usual 10:30 PM slot and registered 91 entrants by the time the late registrations got over, falling a paltry ₹9,000 short of its listed guarantee. It took a quick two-hours for ‘abbey4u’ to champion the tourney and win ₹16,978. They cut a four-way deal with ‘TheLagLawyer’ (runner-up for ₹14,649), Ajit ‘ace_bob_here’ Singh Arora (3rd for ₹15,442), and ‘crazyass93’ (4th for ₹14,706).

The day’s headliner on Adda52, the ₹15 Lakhs GTD Maverick, attracted 598 entries to fall ₹1.40 Lakhs short of its listed guarantee. Wading through this field was PokerGuru Ambassador Mithun ‘themiths’ Mahesh, who added ₹3.83 Lakhs to his poker bankroll. This is the second time this year Mahesh has won this tourney, pushing his overall MTT earnings to ₹1.63 Crores. Mitesh ‘mit2015’ Gupta placed runner-up for ₹2.18 Lakhs.
The ₹4 Lakhs GTD La Luna booked a profitable run last night. The ₹1,800 entry buy-in event logged in 279 entries, posting ₹4.57 Lakhs in the prize pool. Championing the tourney was Peyush ‘R9CKY’ Jain, who went on to win a site-best ₹1.17 Lakhs after defeating Mahesh ‘mahikalra’ Shyamsundar (runner-up for ₹69,778) in heads-up play. Jain currently has ₹14.15 Lakhs in recorded winnings on Adda52.

PokerBaazi also stayed on course by hosting its regular Wednesday flagship, the ₹10 Lakhs GTD The Pride. Sporting a ₹3,850 entry buy-in, the event registered 290 entries to surpass its listed guarantee by ₹15,000. After six hours and forty-six minutes of play, Pranav ‘GarviGujarat’ Desai emerged as the champion and booked himself a ₹2.21 Lakhs payday. Kabir ‘kabira36’ Dhamija finished runner-up for ₹1.57 Lakhs.
Desai has previously shipped PokerBaazi flagships like The Endeavour, Pride, and BSS Monster, and last night`s win has boosted his lifetime MTT earnings to ₹1.10 Crore.
The 9 PM Special ₹2.5 Lakhs GTD Wednesday MegaStack had to fill in an overlay of ₹34,000 after registering 108 entries. Eventually, the first-ever Game Changer champion Prashanth ‘Iveyleague’ Sekar clinched the title for ₹70,375, beating Utkarsh ‘Littlefish’ Mishra (runner-up for ₹49,275) in heads-up play. This happens to be Sekar’s second title victory in the last four days – he had on Sunday won Spartan Poker’s Money Heist for ₹1.89 Lakhs.
