Thursday night was intense, and while Spartan Poker’s FTS lineup had mainstays like the Big Game and the Monster Stack, the schedule at the WPT Online India series on Adda52 was equally action-packed with some massive guaranteed tourneys.

Spartan Poker
Driving up the FTS excitement on Spartan Poker was the FTS #8 Big Game. With a buy-in of ₹22,000, the tourney offered players a chance to earn from a mouth-watering ₹1 Crore prize pool guarantee. The action took off at 8 PM, and 452 runners (256 unique, 105 re-entries, and 91 rebuys) joined the action, resulting in an overlay of ₹9.60 Lakhs. There is a jaw-dropping ₹19.49 Lakhs reserved for the champion.
The play was paused with the formation of the eight-handed final table, where leading the FT qualifiers was none other than PokerGuru Ambassador Kartik ‘TheInternetKid’ Ved (2,378,797).
WPT Monday Feature runner-up Sagar ‘strangeplay’ Choudhury (2,361,145) and Dhirendra ‘dhiru91’ Kumar (2,223,611) are the other two players who will be entering the FT with a 2-Million-plus stack.
Also returning for the final day`s play today will be Ashwin ‘A116’ Vijay (1,623,930), Eshaan ‘Ekapoor’ Kapoor (894,903), Mohit ‘ro3bet’ Goyal (775,771), Srihari ‘bangbang99’ Bang (656,523), and ‘Sid297’ (385,320).
The second of the six featured tourneys at the FTS, the ₹70 Lakhs GTD FTS #5 Monster Stack, had recorded 649 entries on Wednesday – filling in ₹5.10 Lakhs in overlays. A three-way deal on the FT last night saw seasoned reg Siddarth ‘PeterPunter’ Singhvi claim the bragging rights for a whopping ₹11.55 Lakhs payday. This is the single-largest score collected at the ongoing series so far.
Singhvi, who claimed his second WPT India title only a day back in the ₹17 Lakhs GTD WPT Deepstack, now has ₹4.68 Crores in online winnings.
FTS #5 runner-up Saikrishna ‘sai4456’ Pande pocketed ₹8.54 Lakhs, with third-place finisher Parth ‘PufferFish’ Aggarwal padding his bankroll by ₹8.02 Lakhs.
The ₹25 Lakhs GTD FTS#9 logged in 591 entries, overlaying ₹1.36 Lakhs. The top 55 places finished ITM, and the winner emerged in ‘TheGTObot,’ who banked ₹4.85 Lakhs after defeating Saurabh ‘darksider’ Rohilla (runner-up for ₹3.07 Lakhs) in the heads-up play.
Young Gun Anujkumar ‘aatmaan108’ Kodam (3rd for ₹2.22 Lakhs) and PokerGuru Ambassador Devvrat ‘deranzzdd’ Arya (4th for ₹1.79 Lakhs) were the other top finishers.
Devvrat Arya also placed runner-up in PokerStars India’s ₹10 Lakhs GTD Uppercut MAGIC Edition for ₹1 Lakhs, earning a cumulative ₹2.79 Lakhs last night.
Spartan Poker regular ‘FunkeyFox’ came out on top of a guarantee-crushing 632-entry field in the ₹7.50 Lakhs GTD FTS #7 to win 1.84 Lakhs. ‘asg123’ finished runner-up for ₹1.17 Lakhs.
PokerStars India
PokerStars India’s signature Thursday tourney, the ₹4,400 entry buy-in ₹10 Lakhs GTD Uppercut MAGIC Edition, took off at 7.30 PM and wrangled in 237 entries (124 unique and 113 re-entries) by the time late registrations closed. An overlay of ₹52,000 had to be catered for by the site, and the top 41 places benefitted from this added value. Simultaneously, all ITM finishers in the tourney picked up TLB points for the PokerStars India “Star of the Month” – November leaderboard.
Navigating his way to the top after almost seven hours of play was Abhijeet ‘sexylady7766’ Kumar. Kumar fired two bullets in the tourney and knocked out a good number of rivals on his way to the top, earning an impressive ₹1.22 Lakhs in bounties alone. He eventually agreed to a heads-up chop with PokerGuru Ambassador Devvrat ‘bhasm@sur1’ Arya to pocket ₹83,642 in prize money, winning a cumulative ₹2.06 Lakhs in the event.
Arya collected a runner-up payday of ₹1 Lakhs (₹83,642 in prize money, ₹16,438 in bounties).
The ₹2 Lakhs GTD The Classic PKO crowned a winner in ‘sumitm74,’ who outran 136 entries to win ₹63,059, after striking a heads-up deal with ‘Mnk_820’ (runner-up for ₹23,660).
All 17 ITM finishers in the ₹1 Lakhs GTD Bigstack Turbo accumulated points towards the PokerStars India “Star of the Month” – November leaderboard race. ‘ASG 91’ bested the 97-entry field to win ₹22,373.

The inaugural WPT Online India series has been setting the virtual felts on fire, and Thursday brought on its own share of firecrackers with 10 WPT tourneys on the day`s roster.
The biggest attraction was hands down the ₹2.5 Crores GTD WPT India Main Event that added 226 entries (146 unique and 80 re-entries) in the fourth starting flight. Day 1D began at 7 PM, and the starting field whittled down to 27 survivors over the next four hours. Leading this group to Day 2 was ‘slotmachine’ (435,578), with
Gagandeep ‘gaganhyd’ Singh (239,716) and Pranay ‘setmeup’ Chawla (236,668) carrying the next top stacks to Day 2. The event has four more starting flights to run before the ME Finale on Sunday.
The ₹15 Lakhs GTD WPT India Madness also ran Day 1D, drawing entries (287 unique, 146 re-entries). The play halted in under three hours with 66 runners securing their seats for Day 2. ‘rajroykl’ (339,116), Abhishek ‘DurrrSucks’ (239,837) Garg, and ‘1234manoj’ (219,814) carried forward the top stacks of the day.
The WPT Trophy event of the day was the ₹30 Lakhs GTD WPT Thursday Feature. The cards went up in the air at 8 PM, and a turnout of 640 participants ensured a juicy ₹32 Lakhs prize pool. Raghav ‘BaLuGaWhAlE’ Bansal trounced the competition to collect his second WPT Trophy and ₹8 Lakhs. The former Millionaire Ayush ‘lazyman’ Garg finished runner-up for ₹4.64 Lakhs.
Bansal features among the standout winners in the ongoing series. He won his career-first WPT Trophy on the opening day of the series, where he topped 280 entries to win the ₹30 Lakhs GTD WPT Big Game for ₹9.67 Lakhs. He also picked up a runner-up score worth ₹5.10 Lakhs in the ₹30 Lakhs GTD WPT India Mini Highroller. With the second WPT title in his grasp, Bansal now sits with over ₹3.30 Crores in MTT earnings.
Mohit ‘thejokerrrr’ Mehta (3rd for ₹3.13 Lakhs), Rubin ‘kornkif’ Labroo (4th for ₹2.24 Lakhs), Vatsal ‘pivs’ Srivastava (5th for ₹1.60 Lakhs), Siddharth ‘gabandheer’ Pandey (6th for ₹1.12 Lakhs), Gagandeep ‘gaganhyd’ Singh (7th for ₹88,000) and WPT India Madness Day 1C topper Abhishek ‘Bong’ Paul (8th for ₹64,000) also posted FT scores in the WPT Thursday Feature.
Also closing out a title win was Devrat ‘Vickypune’ Singh, who stormed past 502 runners in the ₹8 Lakhs GTD WPT Mini 6-Max to help himself to a payday of ₹2.24 Lakhs. Biplave ‘Bksingh1’ Singh finished runner-up for ₹1.57 Lakhs while Ayush Garg, who had placed runner-up in the WPT India Thursday Feature, picked up a third-place score of ₹95,380.
Earlier in the day, the ₹5 Lakhs GTD WPT Classic was championed by Amarjeet ‘amarjeet1989’ Singh for ₹1.01 Lakhs.
PokerBaazi
The second edition of PokerBaazi’s ₹50 Lakhs GTD The Value Bomb continued to expand its field with Day 1B registering 509 entries (363 unique, 146 re-entries) on Thursday. Only 54 among them could bag a stack for Day 2.
Akhilesh ‘Aone1’ Gautam (467,000) was the end-of-day chip leader, with Bharat ‘Thinkfloyd’ Vasan (456,000) and Aditya S ‘StuUnger’ Anand (350,000) rounding out the top three stacks from the flight.
Over at the ₹15 Lakhs GTD The Summit, 228 entries (133 unique and 95 re-entries) entered the fray to help generate a profitable ₹17.01 Lakhs prize pool. The mystery user ‘Iamfish’ navigated their way past the stacked field to win ₹4.02 Lakhs. Former Millionaire Lite champion Sreekanth ‘n0thing’ Narayan placed runner-up for ₹2.82 Lakhs).
