Cupid may have been working overtime on February 14, but poker players had their own kind of fire burning. It was all about the love of the game, the thrill of the chase, and the sweet taste of victory. Kunal Patni emerged as the ultimate Romeo, capturing hearts and chips alike at the APT Manila Poker Classic 2025. He reigned supreme in Event #75: ₱150K Single Day High Roller, clinching his sixth APT title (and second of the series) and a breathtaking ₹45.52 Lakhs. That’s one way to celebrate Valentine’s Day!

While the live tables were buzzing (with other successes for Team India at WPT Championship Cambodia), the online action was just as fierce. Natural8 India and PokerBaazi were, as always, at the forefront. The stakes are sky-high on PokerBaazi, where the ₹5 Crore 2025 Player of the Year (POY) Leaderboard has become a battleground. Meanwhile, Junglee Poker’s ₹1+ Crore Lakhpati Legends is attracting a dangerous mix of mid-stakes grinders and seasoned pros, all with their eyes on the prize as the grand weekend finale approaches. And with the Road to NPS satellite series starting tomorrow, promising over ₹2 Crores in tickets to the behemoth ₹100 Crores GTD National Poker Series India 2025, plus other big events like the ₹25 Lakhs GTD Lakhpati Legends Main Event on Junglee Poker and the ₹50 Lakhs GTD Big Whale on Adda52, you’ve got a recipe for an explosive weekend of poker action!

Friday, however, belonged to Natural8 India’s ‘W@rCry Gaming.’ They made a statement, a loud one, clinching their biggest score on the platform to date. Since their debut last July, they’ve been steadily gaining momentum, with back-to-back podium finishes in the Daily Hypersonic 20 and a maiden win in the Bounty Hunters Deepstack Turbo 8.88 just two weeks prior. Last night, they topped all their precious achievement by slicing through a colossal 5,291-entry field in the Bounty Hunters Daily Main 54. Their sixth-place finish earned them ₹5.76 Lakhs, making them the day`s top earner!

On PokerBaazi, ‘Fishlover001,’ a two-time The MoneyMaker champion who won The Summit three weeks ago, roared back into the spotlight, taking down The Quest for ₹5.27 Lakhs—their second title of 2025 and their first in this event. Aryaman Arora, making their first big splash of the year, finished runner-up for ₹3.15 Lakhs—his second-best score on the platform.

Back on Natural8 India, ‘Sanchu5527,’ after a heartbreaking runner-up finish in the Zodiac Goat High Roller in December, made a strong comeback, taking second place in a tough 90-entry field in the Daily Monster Stack 250 for ₹3.47 Lakhs—their second-best score on the platform.

Siddhant Singh, fresh off two big wins last month and a runner-up finish in the Godfather the night before, kept his hot streak alive on Adda52. He delivered a masterclass in The Ballers, winning the title and ₹3.09 Lakhs after a heads-up deal. This win was especially sweet, avenging his runner-up finish in the same event nine weeks ago. The NPS India 2024 gold medalist and June 2024 Baazi Millionaire also cashed in The Quest Lite, bringing his Friday total to ₹3.15 Lakhs and pushing his tracked online winnings past ₹2 Crores. ‘degrader1,’ a sporadic mystery grinder, nearly had a breakout win in The Ballers, finishing runner-up and earning ₹3.07 Lakhs from the deal—more than tripling their previous top score.

‘Wonderwoman6, the turbo format crusher on Natural8 India, pulled off a spectacular double! Just two days after a fourth-place finish in the Zodiac Dragon High Roller, they were back on top, racking up ₹2.56 Lakhs from two title victories—both in the Daily Hyper 80, for ₹1.50 Lakhs and ₹1.06 Lakhs. With eight titles on the platform already in 2025 and an incredible seventh in the Daily Hyper (all time), ‘Wonderwoman6’ has already racked up over ₹37 Lakhs on the platform this year.

Sahil Mahboobani, the poker veteran whose results speak for themselves, also joined the Friday party. After two final table appearances this week, he conquered Pocket52`s Pocket Knights for ₹1.93 Lakhs—his second flagship win on the site after his Pocket Kings triumph last year. Deep runs in six other tournaments boosted his Friday total to over ₹2.47 Lakhs. Tanay Kauntia nearly pulled off a Pocket52 double, finishing runner-up in the Pocket Knights (₹1.35 Lakhs) and the (7-Max) Deepstack Turbo (₹43,580). Despite the near misses, another deep run in Adda52’s Friday Bounty brought his haul to ₹1.84 Lakhs.

Prince Kumar (Won PokerBaazi’s WTF for ₹2.29 Lakhs), ‘Akshay.k’ (Won PokerBaazi’s Daily Last Chance for ₹1.71 Lakhs), ‘tonkaaaaaa’ (Won Junglee Poker’s Friday Supernova for ₹1.60 Lakhs) and Thursday`s PokerBaazi WTF champion Abhimanyu Mittal (Won PokerBaazi’s The Quest Lite for ₹1.32 Lakhs) were among the other flagship winners.

Natural8 India`s ‘Bryant_24,’ who started the year strong by winning Speed Racer Bounty 32, followed by a runner-up finish in the Sunday Hypersonic 15 in late January, kept the momentum going. They stormed through a 589-entry field in the lightning-fast Daily Hyper 20, taking second place for ₹1.28 Lakhs.

The night also saw a flurry of victories from well-known regulars like Rajneesh Thakur, Mayank Taluja, Bhushan Sohani, Sharad Haridasan, Kashish Sachdev, Sai Ganesh Reddy, and Rahul Sengar, who won the other marquee events.

Here are the Friday highlights!

It was a Valentine’s Day to remember for Indian poker! While Kunal Patni was off adding another shiny trophy to his collection at the APT Manila Poker Classic 2025, the online tables back home were bursting with action. With the ₹100 Crore GTD National Poker Series India 2025 just over the horizon, PokerBaazi ignited the weekend frenzy with its signature tournaments. Friday night was all about the ₹30 Lakhs GTD The Quest, and it was a night that will be etched in the memory of many!

‘Fishlover001’ (anonymity requested), who’s been crushing the competition, was back in the spotlight. This two-time The MoneyMaker champion, who had already conquered The Summit three weeks ago, has been steadily building a reputation. A podium finish in The Quest Lite and a sixth-place score in the WTF at the end of January hinted at their potential.

And after a short lull, ‘Fishlover001’ delivered on that potential again last night. They tore through a stacked 645-entry field (404 unique) in The Quest, taking down the 8 PM showstopper after an exhilarating 7.5-hour battle, seizing a hefty ₹5.27 Lakhs! This was their second title of 2025 and their first time winning The Quest, making them the day’s top dog on PokerBaazi. They finished just behind Natural8 India’s ‘W@rCry Gaming’ on the Friday scorecard, who banked a massive ₹5.76 Lakhs from a sixth-place run in the Bounty Hunters Daily Main 54.

But victory wasn’t served on a silver platter. Aryaman ‘Aryaknight’ Arora (opted out of our tracking), who had been relatively under the radar this year, came out all guns blazing. The former The MoneyMaker runner-up pushed ‘Fishlover001’ to the limit but had to settle for second place. Still, he walked away with a handsome second place, but with ₹3.15 Lakhs, his second-best score on PokerBaazi.

The Quest’s final table was a star-studded affair, delivering a captivating finish. Wilson ‘kalingkaling’ Yomso, who took second place in The Summit just the night before, grabbed third place for ₹2.51 Lakhs. Advait ‘ExploitativeGTO’ Rajguru, the PokerGuru Staking coach with four major wins already this year (including the WTF last week), finished fourth, adding ₹1.94 Lakhs to his exploding bankroll. Other notable players at the final table included Abhishek ‘drpokerabc’ Chinya (5th for ₹1.42 Lakhs) and Kunal ‘imcursed’ Shalin (8th for ₹72,563).

The Quest wasn’t just a success; it smashed expectations, generating a gigantic ₹32.25 Lakhs prize pool. The top 101 players cashed, with a minimum payout of ₹10,320—almost double the ₹5,750 buy-in. With the NPS India 2025, the biggest tournament series India has ever seen, on the horizon and the “Road to NPS” satellites kicking off this Sunday, the online poker action on PokerBaazi is about to explode in the coming days!

The King is back, and he’s not playing around. Abhimanyu ‘AsratManfi’ Mittal, the poker beast from Delhi, has rediscovered his winning touch, and the competition is feeling the heat. Less than 24 hours after breaking a seven-week title drought (after numerous close calls) in PokerBaazi’s WTF, this versatile pro went back-to-back, conquering the ₹10 Lakhs GTD The Quest Lite last night for ₹1.32 Lakhs, courtesy of a heads-up deal. Two wins in two days—is this a sign of things to come?

Abhimanyu Mittal
Abhimanyu Mittal

Mittal, whose poker cabinet includes titles like the Adda52 Big Game, PokerBaazi’s THC#99 Main Event, and an NPS gold medal, had just shaken off a seven-week dry spell (after numerous clear misses) on Thursday, clearly finding his rhythm. Last night’s victory was his first-ever The Quest Lite title and second of the year. In a thrilling showdown, Mittal crushed a guarantee-smashing field of 381 players (583 total entries), seizing his second WTF title after nearly seven hours of nail-biting, edge-of-your-seat play.

And the spoils didn’t end there. Mittal also made deep runs in the day’s main attraction, The Quest and Adda52’s Friday Bounty, pushing his day`s total to almost ₹1.52 Lakhs.

Hot on Mittal`s heels was Vishal ‘karan23’ Kumar, a PLO specialist from Delhi and recent (PLO-5) Boost champion, hungry for his first major title of the year. He came painfully close in The Quest Lite but had to settle for second place, still pocketing a respectable ₹1.24 Lakhs from the heads-up deal. Kumar also cashed in WTF (89th for ₹5,400), adding up to a total of ₹1.30 Lakhs.

Valentine’s Day on Adda52 wasn’t about hearts and flowers; it was about chips and chairs. And one player, Siddhant ‘AajNahiAana’ Singh, was busy breaking hearts – and stacks.

This young talent has been on fire lately, and Friday night was no exception. He conquered PokerBaazi’s Big PLO-5 and (6-Max) BSS SPRINT last month, back-to-back like it was nothing. He almost bagged his first win of this month with a nail-biting runner-up finish in Adda52’s Godfather just the night before. But last night, he finally went the distance, taking down the ₹17.50 Lakhs GTD The Ballers and exorcising the demons of his runner-up finish in the same event nine weeks ago!

Siddhant Singh
Siddhant Singh

This NPS India 2024 gold medalist and Baazi Millionaire from June 2024 is a star on the rise, and he put on a dazzling display in this 8 PM flagship event. He tore through a fearsome field of 82 hardened grinders (180 total entries), emerging as the last man standing after a brutal war of attrition. His dominance at the table translated into a fat ₹3.09 Lakhs payday after a savvy heads-up deal. Singh also went deep in PokerBaazi’s The Quest Lite (45th for ₹5,386), racking up almost ₹3.15 Lakhs for the session. This was a victory parade worthy of a Caesar, especially considering he blasted past the ₹2 Crores mark in tracked online winnings!

> 1st in Adda52’s The Ballers for ₹3,09,279* (heads-up deal)

> 45th in PokerBaazi’s The Quest Lite for ₹5,386

Siddhant Singh’s online stats (excluding Natural8 India, Junglee Poker and Pocket52): Lifetime Winnings: ₹2.04 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹79.10 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2025: #3

Then there was ‘degrader1. This mystery player, who’s been lurking in the shadows since April 2018, has only 83 tournaments to their name. They’ve had their moments in the sun, with a low-stakes marquee title, a micro-stakes victory, and a couple of final table appearances in flagship events over the years. But they were on the verge of a major upset last night, nearly snatching their first major title. However, Singh played the role of a dream crusher, denying them the glory. ‘Degrader1’ had to settle for a respectable runner-up finish, but they didn’t leave empty-handed, pocketing a hefty ₹3.07 Lakhs from the deal – more than tripling their previous best score from a sixth-place finish in the AOPS Whale in 2020 for quite the profit boost.

degrader1’s Adda52 stats: Site Winnings: ₹6.77 Lakhs | Site Profits: ₹3.72 Lakhs

The final table of The Ballers was a veritable who’s who of the Indian poker scene. We saw Thursday’s Summit Lite podium hero and WTF fourth-place finisher Ashit ‘nexus010’ Sharma continue riding his hot streak with another fourth-place finish for ₹1.52 Lakhs. Ravi ‘ravi250294’ Kant Kumar (5th for ₹1.15 Lakhs) and the ever-reliable Vikhyat ‘hazard57’ Ahlawat (6th for ₹86,850) also made their mark.

The Ballers was a hot ticket, but the ₹8,050 buy-in flagship recorded a glaring ₹4.90 Lakhs overlay, creating a value bonanza for the players. The ₹17.50 Lakhs prize pool was distributed among the top 27 finishers, with each earning at least ₹20,417. It was a Valentine’s Day poker party to remember on Adda52.

Sahil ‘inaboobham’ Mahboobani—the name itself is a calling card among the Indian online poker sharks. This Gurugram veteran, a poker pro whose tournament results scream louder than any boast, is on fire. A victory in the Big PLO-5 on PokerBaazi a fortnight ago, plus five final table finishes recently (think Adda52 Maverick DPT Edition and the Junglee Poker LL#26 Thursday Highroller just this week), set the stage for his Friday night raid on Pocket52. His target: the ₹8 Lakhs GTD Pocket Knights.

Sahil Mahboobani
Sahil Mahboobani

With his signature swagger, he entered the 8 PM showdown. A crowd of 197 entries (114 unique) stood between him and the title. Seven hours and 44 minutes later, after a gauntlet of wild swings and intense competition, Mahboobani emerged with the crown—and ₹1.93 Lakhs richer. This is his second Pocket52 flagship win, adding to his Pocket Kings triumph late last year.

But the night was young. Mahboobani’s deep runs in six other tournaments brought his Friday total to over ₹2.47 Lakhs.

> 1st in Pocket52’s Pocket Knights for ₹1,93,000

> 19th in Adda52’s The Ballers for ₹20,417

> 31st in PokerBaazi’s The Quest for ₹13,545

> 13th in PokerBaazi’s Daily Last Chance for ₹10,327

> 64th in PokerBaazi’s WTF for ₹5,400

> 41st in PokerBaazi’s Daily BOOST for ₹2,494

> 31st in PokerBaazi’s (PLO-5) BOOST for ₹1,989

Right behind him was Tanay ‘rujula16’ Kauntia, the MVP qualifier for the Bengaluru Allstars in Pocket52 PSL Season 6. This rising talent has been crushing it in 2025, with eight titles already (three on Pocket52), including a win in Pocket52’s Pocket Queens in early January and another in PokerBaazi’s (6-Max) Hyper just this past Tuesday. Last night, he came so close to a double win on Pocket52, finishing a gut-wrenching second in the Pocket Knights and the (7-Max) Deepstack Turbo. Another deep run in Adda52’s Friday Bounty added a sweet ₹1.84 Lakhs to his Valentine’s Day earnings.

> 2nd in Pocket52’s (7-Max) Deepstack Turbo for ₹43,580

> 9th in Adda52’s Friday Bounty for ₹4,967

Prince ‘Willcrush’ Singh, who had just missed out on victory in PokerBaazi’s Daily Last Chance the previous night, also had a profitable Friday. He racked up a total of ₹75,464 from three deep runs, including a second-place finish in Adda52’s Friday Bounty and another seventh-place run in Pocket52’s Pocket Knights.

Prince Singh

> 2nd in Adda52’s Friday Bounty for ₹35,054

> 7th in Pocket52’s Pocket Knights for ₹32,160

> 23rd in PokerBaazi’s WTF for ₹8,250

The Pocket Knights final table was a who’s who of online poker regulars. Among them were last week`s Pocket Magnets runner-up Ashish ‘AK19’ Kumar (4th for ₹64,480), mid-stakes phenom Mandar ‘MAMA04’ Madaye (5th for ₹48,400), and Young Gun Ashwin ‘John_wick1399’ Vijayvergiya (6th for ₹38,720).

With a ₹3,300 buy-in, Pocket Knights missed its ₹8 Lakhs guarantee by a whopping ₹2.35 Lakhs, a shortfall of almost 30%. This meant incredible value for players, with the top 24 earning at least ₹7,680—more than double the buy-in. This ensured that even those who didn’t quite reach the top spots still made a profit, keeping the competitive fire burning bright on India`s only cryptographically secured poker network well into Saturday morning.
