As usual, the Monday night action paled in comparison to Sunday. While Young Gun Siddharth Karia and former IOPC Millionaire champion Anurag Srivastava bagged the biggest scores of the day, Team PokerGuru had an eventful outing for the second consecutive day with Ashish Ahuja championing PokerStars India’s Battle Royale. At the same time, Ratul Steves (PokerBaazi’s The Bout) and Jayjit Ray (PokerBaazi’s Monday MonsterStack) secured runner-up finishes.

Here are the day’s highlights!

Spartan Poker

The ₹12 Lakhs GTD ReCharge was the centerpiece of Spartan Poker’s Monday schedule. After registering 505 entries, the ₹2,200 entry buy-in event got hit by an overlay deficit of ₹1.90 Lakhs. When we had started our weekly ‘Online Rankings’ feature back in February, Srivastava dominated the yearly rankings. His phenomenal performance on February 9 when he not only championed Spartan Poker’s IOPC ₹3 Crores GTD The Millionaire Main Event for a whopping ₹60.34 Lakhs but also posted three more scores in the same event, worth a total ₹60.34 Lakhs, is the stuff of legends. He held onto his pole position on the annual leaderboard till May before Young Gun Gaurav Sood took over. Before yesterday’s events, Srivastava was ranked #12 on the yearly rankings, with ₹2.60 Crores in annual earnings.

Sanchit ‘tullupump’ Adukia finished runner-up in the ReCharge for ₹1.48 Lakhs. The #1 ranked player of 2020, Gaurav ‘mozzie17’ Sood, extended his lead on the annual leaderboard by placing third for ₹1.11 Lakhs.
