The tournament action was predictably slow on Monday, but Spartan Poker’s The Millionaire Series unleashed a power-packed lineup of events, keeping the MTT regs busy. The week ahead promises to be a treat for the micro to small-stakes players as well, with PokerBaazi’s Baazi Grinder Series commencing its run yesterday!

The biggest story of Monday was scripted by old-timer Simon Mint, who overcame a 766-strong field in Spartan Poker`s Millionaire Series #7 to collect the ₹10 Lakhs guaranteed to the winner (the site filled in the ₹2.34 Lakhs shortfall). Navin Bohani finished runner-up for ₹4.60 Lakhs.

There seems to be no stopping Young Gun Karan Radia, who shipped Iron Man for ₹2.16 Lakhs. The Sunday Special PKO runner-up finisher Abhishek Chhajer missed out on the top spot yet again, netting ₹1.28 Lakhs in second place. Radia also placed runner-up in PokerStars India’s Battle Royale for ₹61,003, adding ₹2.77 Lakhs overall.

Coming out on top in PokerBaazi`s The Big Show was the EndBoss 2020 sixth-place finisher Shubham Mahapatra, who won the title for ₹1.77 Lakhs following a heads-up deal with Abhimanyu Mittal (2nd for ₹1.60 Lakhs).

Madhur Kapoor was the last player standing in Spartan Poker`s second Monday marquee, Millionaire Series #8, and won a personal-best ₹1.34 Lakhs.

Mayank Maruka was the biggest winner on PokerStars India as he shipped Battle Royale for his sixth title victory of the year and a ₹1 Lakh payday.
