With the weekend fast approaching, the virtual felts have been teeming with action. Spartan Poker’s The Elite spearheaded the Friday action, and Sreekanth Narayan emerged as the day’s biggest winner. The former Millionaire LITE champion took down The Elite and placed fourth in PokerStars India’s Super Highroller to rake in ₹7.21 Lakhs cumulatively. Siddarth Singhvi finished runner-up in The Elite for ₹4.02 Lakhs.

Young Gun Anuj Yadav was another breakout performer who almost won the two high roller events back-to-back last night. The 25-year-old MTT pro took down PokerStars India’s Super Highroller for ₹2.77 Lakhs, and almost went the distance in PokerBaazi’s The Weekly Highroller as well, ultimately placing runner-up for ₹2.49 Lakhs. He added ₹5.26 Lakhs in Friday winnings.

Meanwhile, Dhinesh Kumar shipped The Weekly Highroller for the third time last night for ₹3.55 Lakhs. This, along with a sixth-place finish in The Elite for ₹1.38 Lakhs, fetched him ₹4.93 Lakhs for the day`s work.

PokerGuru Ambassador Ashish Ahuja shipped Adda52`s Friday headliner, the DOPT PLO Special, pocketing a winner’s paycheque worth ₹3.32 Lakhs to move up to #6 in the annual leaderboard rankings.

Shekhar Singh, Kanishka Samant, Devrat Singh, Sandeep Varma, Sarthak Sharma, Young Gun Karan Radia, Sameer Agarwal, Bheeem Singh Meena, and Ashish Kumar Yadav were the other prominent winners of the day!

Spartan Poker’s ₹22 Lakhs GTD The Elite (6-Max) kicked off the weekend in style. The ₹11,000 buy-in event registered 269 entries generating a ₹26.90 Lakhs prize pool. It took former Millionaire LITE champion Sreekanth ‘GL1DE’ Narayan about eight hours to take down the event for ₹5.96 Lakhs. The former Millionaire Legends runner-up finisher Siddarth ‘PeterPunter’ Singhvi came second for ₹4.02 Lakhs.

Sreekanth Narayan, who had chopped PokerStars India’s Highroller on Thursday, bagged ₹7.21 Lakhs last night, making him the day`s top scorer.

The champion now has ₹23.12 Lakhs in recorded winnings on Spartan Poker.

Taking home his third career The Weekly Highroller title was Dhinesh dhineshrocky007’ Kumar, who won ₹3.55 Lakhs, with last night’s PokerStars India Super Highroller champion Anuj ‘brockLesnar95’ Yadav missing out on a second high roller title in second place for ₹2.49 Lakhs.

PokerStars India’s Friday headliner, the ₹12 Lakhs GTD Super Highroller, made a slightly delayed start at 8.12 PM, with 105 players (including 43 re-entries) joining the action. The event registered a marginal ₹6,780 overlay and paid out the top 13 finishers. Young Gun Anuj ‘brockLesnar95’ Yadav emerged the eventual champion and won the ₹2.77 Lakhs up-top, with ‘Rjnshpl’ finishing runner-up for ₹2.12 Lakhs.

The former Millionaire Legends champion, Anuj Yadav, was among the top contenders to win PokerBaazi’s The Weekly Highroller and finished runner-up for ₹2.49 Lakhs. He added ₹5.26 Lakhs in Friday earnings.

Last night`s The Elite champion Sreekanth ‘LaganaHiToHai’ Narayan finished fourth in the event for ₹1.25 Lakhs.

Last Wednesday’s Night on Stars champion Sandeep Varma ‘effuno007’ RS was the other standout winner on the site. Varma overcame the 175-entry field in the ₹2 Lakhs GTD Uppercut Mini to win ₹52,311 (includes ₹32,988 in bounties). ‘raghav1990’ finished runner-up for ₹22,554 (includes ₹3,281 in bounties). Varma also championed the ₹45K GTD Time Tourney: 90 Minutes for ₹45,000. His Friday winnings stood at ₹1.04 Lakhs, boosting his lifetime tally to ₹22.48 Lakhs.

Day 6 of the DOPT series saw eight events playing down to a winner, while the ₹1.50 Crores GTD DOPT Main Event ran its second starting flight.

The featured event of the day, the ₹15 Lakhs GTD DOPT PLO Special, had to fill in a glaring ₹3.27 Lakhs in overlays after logging in a sub-par 172 entrants. PokerGuru Ambassador Ashish ‘rocky3705’ Ahuja outlasted them all to collect his first DOPT title and a ₹3.32 Lakhs payday. He chopped the top prize heads-up with ‘anonymous789’ (2nd for ₹3.28 Lakhs).

Ashish Ahuja also scored a 10th place finish in PokerBaazi’s The Weekly HighRoller for ₹25,806 to make away with over ₹3.58 Lakhs last night. Ahuja posted two FT scores on Thursday, and his Friday night run has pushed him up to #6 in the annual leaderboard standings.

The ₹1.50 Crores GTD DOPT Main Event completed its second starting flight yesterday, with only 18 from a 165-player starting field making it through to Day 2. The user bvrn (305,705), Amit ‘4AcesClub’ Saraff (302,383), Young Gun Shardul ‘Vamos96’ Parthasarathi (299,781), ‘amarkhatri999’ (245,548), and Rising Star Ritwik ‘ritwik27’ Khanna (205,517) topped the day-end chip counts.

The ₹11,000 buy-in event has registered a 395-entry field so far (Day 1A – 230 and Day 1B – 165) and has another four starting flights to run before Day 2 on Sunday.

After six days of non-stop action, Dhaval ‘faizal1506’ Doshi sits on top of the DOPT leaderboard standings with 976 points. Shekhar ‘Brat_Poker’ Singh (693 points) and Devrat ‘Vickypune’ Singh (690 points) round out the top three places on the leaderboard standings.
