It’s been an intense week for MTT players – all thanks to Spartan Poker’s The Millionaire Series 3.0 – and the four high-value events at the stop dominated much of the Thursday action!

The low to mid-stakes players had a lot to choose from on PokerBaazi. The site’s ₹10 Mein 10 Lakhpati ran five qualifiers yesterday, not to forget the six events running as part of the Baazi Grinder Series.

The Millionaire Series (TMS) 3.0 had four events on the Thursday schedule, including the first starting flight of TMS The Millionaire. Spartan Poker reg ‘Zeusneverlose’ emerged as the day`s breakout winner as they took down the ₹65 Lakhs GTD Millionaire Series#16 High Roller for ₹15.05 Lakhs. Subhojit Roy was the only other player to collect a seven-figure yesterday – a career-best ₹13.66 Lakhs, courtesy of a heads-up deal!

Fascinatingly, all the flagships across the major sites ended in heads-up deals. The former IOPC – The Crown sixth-place finisher Ankit Bajaj took down Adda52’s Godfather for a ₹5.41 Lakhs cash prize after striking a heads-up deal with Guneet Kwatra (2nd for ₹4.34 Lakhs).

The EndBoss 2021 runner-up finisher Dhiraj Lakhotia championed PokerBaazi’s The Summit for 3.40 Lakhs following a heads-up deal with Rising Star Ritwik Khanna (2nd for 3.02 Lakhs).

The #3 ranked player of the year, PokerGuru Ambassador Laksh Pal Singh, championed PokerStars India’s Highroller for the fourth time last night for ₹1.94 Lakhs. This week`s Adda52 Millions champion Ayush Garg collected the same payout, all thanks to an even heads-up deal between the two finalists.

Rahul Lal won the Millionaire Series#17 for ₹1.42 Lakhs, with the user ‘Pure Vegetarian’ raking in ₹1.38 Lakhs from the heads-up deal.

The other prominent winners were Utsav Taneja, Rehmat Walia, Akhilesh Gautam, Sumit Kumar Pal, Shekhar Singh, Taliwabang Jamir, Yuvraj Bhardwaj, Akshat Verma, Aryaman Arora, Vikash Kumar, Satyam Prakash, and Dipankar Arhat!

The Day 5 schedule of The Millionaire Series 3.0 had three events playing down to a winner while the five-flight strong ₹1.50 Crores GTD The Millionaire ran Day 1A.

The event that had both players and railbirds excited was the ₹65 Lakhs GTD Millionaire Series#16 High Roller. The ₹27,500 buy-in event brought in a reg-laden 267-entry field that helped collect a hefty ₹66.75 Lakhs in the prize pool. After almost eight and a half hours of play, Spartan Poker reg ‘Zeusneverlose’ (opted out from tracking) walked away with the title and a whopping ₹15.05 Lakhs payday. But not before striking a heads-up deal with Subhojit ‘subhojitR’ Roy (2nd for a career-best ₹13.66 Lakhs).
