It`s back! The wait is finally over with India`s biggest online poker tournament, PokerBaazi`s 5 Crores GTD EndBoss, returning for its second edition last night. The ₹11,000 buy-in event pulled in a 779-entry field on Day 1A, and 85 survived through to Day 2. Yash ‘gajii22’ Gajiwala (381,000), Dhirendra Singh (333,000), and Divanshu Khurana (317,000) headlined the day-end chip counts. Even with the EndBoss grabbing most of the limelight, Tanmay Benara topped the Wednesday charts. He took down Spartan Poker’s Destiny title for a career-best ₹5.32 Lakhs after striking a heads-up deal with Sandy Lamba (2nd for ₹4.70 Lakhs).

Ashit Sharma had a breakout run last night with runner-up finishes in two flagships events, netting over ₹3.47 Lakhs. He came second in both Adda52’s Maverick (₹2.43 Lakhs) and PokerStars India’s Night on Stars (₹1.04 Lakhs) and cashed another two events.

Lavesh Meena was the last player standing in PokerStars India`s Night on Stars and won ₹1.35 Lakhs.

PokerGuru Ambassador Laksh Pal Singh is one of the top winners on our tracked database and the former IOPC – The Crown champion lapped up ₹1 Lakh in Spartan Poker’s Wednesday Vibes following a heads-up chop with Bhushan ‘funchampion’ Sohani (2nd for ₹1 Lakh).

Taliwabang Jamir, Siddharth Ranshevre, Sandeep Malik, and Neeraj Kumar shipped the other marquees.

The fifth event in Spartan Poker`s Destiny 21.0 series played out last night. The ₹5,500 buy-in tourney locked in 466 entries, posting a ₹23.30 Lakhs prize pool. The former APT Freezeout champion Tanmay ‘PlusEv’ Benara was the last player standing and secured a seat at the Destiny SnG Finale and a career-best ₹5.32 Lakhs payday. He struck a heads-up deal with Sandy ‘ZIIGMUND’ Lamba (2nd for ₹4.70 Lakhs).

Undoubtedly, the most-awaited poker tournament of the year, PokerBaazi`s ₹5 Crores GTD EndBoss, made a grand return last night. The hunt for the next EndBoss is now underway and the first of the events’ five starting flights logged in 779 entries (563 unique and 216 re-entries). After a little over five hours of action, only 85 among them managed to find a bag for Day 2. The user Yash ‘gajii22’ Gajiwala (381,000) bagged the end of play chip lead with Dhirendra ‘dhirendra987’ Singh (333,000) and Divanshu ‘1diot’ Khurana (317,000) hot on his heels.

‘3streakbluff’ (298,000), ‘ifeelitcoming’ (293,000), Young Gun Sahil ‘bluffme19’ Chutani (289,000), Kunal ‘Kvohra’ Vohra (267,000), ‘abhiboi’ (266,000), Siddharth ‘Siddonuts’ Pandey (261,000), NPS Main Event champion Mohammad ‘Chandlerbing’ Azhar (249,000) were others who made the Day 1A top 10 chip count’s list.

With all eyes on the EndBoss, PokerBaazi skipped The Pride. However, the ₹1.50 Lakhs GTD Holdem BOOST ran as usual with a 279-entry field filling in a guarantee-crushing ₹2.79 Lakhs prize pool. After five hours of play, Taliwabang ‘Meverick’ Jamir championed the event to collect ₹54,408 following a heads-up deal with Maddhav ‘Maddhav’ Kohli (2nd for ₹50,468).

PokerStars India`s Tournament Festival is now well underway, and the ₹7 Lakhs GTD Night on Stars dominated the MTT action on the site last night. The₹2,750 buy-in event could only muster a starting field of 222 runners, pitching in a sizable ₹1.45 Lakhs in overlays. Grabbing the lion`s share of the value on offer was Lavesh ‘lavesh786’ Meena, who won a site-best ₹1.35 Lakhs after eliminating last night’s Maverick runner-up finisher Ashit ‘Cringing’ Sharma (2nd for ₹1.03 Lakhs) heads-up.

The event ran from 8 PM to 4.20 AM, where coming out on top was the mystery crusher and recent The Mint champion, ‘MallaNi.’ The mystery user pocketed ₹3.57 Lakhs for the win, denying Ashit ‘nexus010’ Sharma (2nd for ₹2.43 Lakhs) the title in heads-up. ‘MallaNi’ posted a trailblazing run on Adda52 last night as they won both the Wednesday night flagships on the site. A little over an hour before winning the Maverick, ‘MallaNi’ topped the 243-strong field in the ₹4 Lakhs GTD La Luna to collect ₹1.10 Lakhs. ‘Thebang02’ secured a runner-up payday worth ₹64,000.

Harsh ‘aaja maal phuka’ Dembla (4th for ₹47,220) was the only other known name on the final table.

The ₹1,650 buy-in event registered 400 participants, the precise count needed to break even. The top 39 places received payouts.
