PokerBaazi’s ₹60 Crore GTD Indian Poker Masters is a runaway train, and Friday’s action was pure, unadulterated chaos! Five high-value tournaments exploded onto the scene, showering players with a mind-boggling ₹2.25 Crores in guaranteed prizes and minting four poker millionaires. The energy was electric, with qualifiers for the IPM Micro Main Event and Main Event turning up the heat on this already record-breaking series. The best is yet to come! With just two days left in the series and a mind-blowing ₹12.45 Crores still up for grabs across 14 tournaments, this weekend is shaping up to be an unforgettable poker extravaganza!
And let’s not forget about this Sunday – it’s going to be legendary! Natural8 India is hosting the WSOP Online Series, and the poker community is buzzing with anticipation for what could be a record-shattering weekend on the virtual tables.
Amidst all this high-stakes drama, Tarun Goyal stole the show with a performance that will be etched in poker history. This poker powerhouse is on an absolute tear. Fresh off his nail-biting runner-up finish in Natural8 India’s Bounty Hunters HR Main Event 525 last Sunday, where he pocketed an eye-popping ₹1.04 Crores, Goyal wasn’t done yet. Last night, he bulldozed his way through a field of 881 players in the 2024 WSOP Online Event #4: $840 Bounty Pot-Limit Omaha 840, walking away with a life-changing N8D 109,561.83 (~₹1.10 Crores), including N8D 64,582.82 in bounties, and the coveted WSOP bracelet. That makes him the ninth Indian to win a bracelet and India’s 12th bracelet win overall – the fifth in an online event and the third this year alone. With back-to-back crore-plus wins, Goyal’s now sitting pretty at #2 in the Player of the Year race, solidifying his status as a true Indian poker legend.
Back on PokerBaazi, the high rollers were battling it out in the IPM#136 Super HighRoller, the series’ most expensive event. Vishal Tulsyan, a two-time The Millionaire champ, put on a masterclass, dominating the stacked field to claim his first-ever IPM title, a staggering ₹22.43 Lakhs cash prize, and the glorious IPM trophy. This victory is not only his fourth title of 2024 and his tenth seven-figure score but also his second-best online score ever, his top performance on PokerBaazi, and his best showing of the year. With cash finishes in two other IPM events, Tulsyan’s total haul for Friday reached a stunning ₹22.58 Lakhs, making him the day’s second-highest earner.
And to make the win even sweeter, Tulsyan achieved this feat by outlasting none other than India’s poker pioneer, Aditya Agarwal, in a thrilling heads-up battle. Fresh off his historic WSOP bracelet win in Las Vegas, Agarwal finished runner-up for a still-massive ₹17.19 Lakhs, his best online score this year.
Vishal Ojha, the 2023 USOP Main Event champion and 2023 People’s Poker Championship nominee, is an unstoppable force. Hot on the heels of his victory in IPM#14 (6-Max) Hyper, Ojha clinched his third IPM title (second in this series) in PokerBaazi’s IPM#138 (5-Max) Big Hyper for a massive ₹7.03 Lakhs, bringing his total Friday winnings to ₹7.22 Lakhs across two deep runs. Akshay Kapoor, the beloved streamer and vlogger, also had a fantastic Friday, securing second place in the IPM#138 (5-Max) Big Hyper for ₹4.69 Lakhs and boosting his total earnings to ₹4.87 Lakhs.
Aditya S Anand broke his four-year title drought in spectacular fashion with a win in PokerBaazi’s IPM#134 Megastack. This triumph earned him a personal-best ₹5.06 Lakhs on the platform and his first-ever IPM title. With an additional cash in (7-Max) SPRINT, Anand’s Friday haul reached ₹5.08 Lakhs. Saurabh Rohila, fresh off an Adda52 Maverick win, grabbed second place in the IPM#134 Megastack for ₹2.95 Lakhs, bringing his Friday total to a scorching ₹14.67 Lakhs (at least) across three final table finishes, highlighted by a fourth-place showing in the IPM#136 Super HighRoller worth ₹10.54 Lakhs.
Shiven Meena, still riding high from his triumph in Adda52’s Iron Man and a string of solid final table showings, stormed through PokerBaazi’s IPM#132 (PLO-6) (PKO), snagging his first-ever IPM title and a career-best ₹4.17 Lakhs. An additional deep run pushed his total winnings to ₹4.24 Lakhs. The long-time regular ‘intervention,’ coming off a (7-Max) Daily SPRINT win earlier this month, walked away as the runner-up with ₹2.54 Lakhs.
Over at Adda52, ‘strpkr95’ scripted a comeback story for the ages, finally breaking through after six long years to capture their first-ever title. Their victory in The Ballers, worth a personal-best ₹4 Lakhs, more than doubled their previous best score. Seasoned pro and 2022 POY #2, Ashish Ahuja, fresh off his IPM#99 Megastack victory, narrowly missed out on another title, finishing second in The Ballers for ₹2.95 Lakhs. Ahuja’s Friday exploits culminated in at least ₹3.04 Lakhs in total winnings across two deep runs.
Atishay Samuel, a three-time The Endeavour champion and two-time Blockbuster winner, also snapped a long 13-month title hiatus by winning PokerBaazi`s IPM#133 (6-Max) Hyper in a super-fast showdown, taking home ₹1.86 Lakhs after a heads-up deal. Aditya Bahl almost grabbed his first IPM title, finishing second and earning a personal-best ₹1.89 Lakhs from the deal and raking in ₹2.08 Lakhs across two deep runs.
On Junglee Poker, Kabir Tandon, riding high on form with back-to-back runner-up finishes in the Monday Monster and Wednesday Superstack, finally grabbed the elusive title in Friday Supernova, claiming ₹1.34 Lakhs.
And finally, let’s give a shoutout to the other Friday champions! Ambika Chowdhury, Swapnil Patil, Piyush Baid, Shubham Badjatya, Divyansh Chandra, Samay Singh Modi, and Ashish Kumar secured well-deserved victories across various platforms.
Here are the Friday highlights!

Kabir ‘kabir2298’ Tandon (opted out of our tracking), the Chandigarh poker whiz kid, had been MIA for weeks. But he came roaring back this week, not with one, but two runner-up finishes in Junglee Poker’s Monday Monster and Wednesday Superstack. Last night, he wasn’t settling for second best. He hit the final table of the ₹10 Lakhs GTD Friday Supernova; this time, he was going for the gold.
Tandon faced off against 341 other skilled players in this 8 PM weekend flagship and came out on top. It was an eight-hour nail-biter, but his smart plays and killer instincts earned him a sweet ₹1.34 Lakhs (₹65,561 in bounties), and that too with two entries!
But Tandon wasn’t the only one making moves. Mystery player ‘amit1258’ grabbed second place and a very respectable ₹98,357 (₹30,334 in bounties).
The Friday Supernova final table also saw solid finishes by the recent Thursday Thunder runner-up Nandan ‘RageMonkey42’ Pugalia (4th for ₹56,025) (₹19,500 in bounties) and Parmeet ‘singhpoker’ Singh Arora (5th for ₹33,594) (₹7,688 in bounties).
With a ₹3,450 buy-in, Friday Supernova promised big rewards for those skilled (and lucky) enough to climb the ranks. The guarantees were not only met but shattered, creating a massive ₹10.26 Lakhs prize pool that fueled the dreams and ambitions of the 34 players fortunate enough to reach the money.

Last night, Adda52 served up high-stakes poker action as the ₹20 Lakhs GTD The Ballers took centre stage. It was a night of triumphs, near-misses, and one particularly inspiring underdog story.
After over six long years of grinding on the platform, ‘strpkr95’ finally broke through and clinched their first-ever title on Adda52 in an epic over eight-hour battle in The Ballers. Overcoming a formidable field of 293 entries (159 unique) in the 8 PM headliner, they walked away with a sweet ₹4 Lakhs top prize – more than double their previous best score, which came from a runner-up finish in Iron Man last year. This victory was a testament to years of dedication and perseverance, finally paying off in a big way – wiping out all their previous losses in one fell swoop.
strpkr95’s Adda5 stats: Site Winnings: ₹10.53 Lakhs | Site Profits: ₹3.39 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2024: #1
But the night wasn’t just about newcomers making their mark. Seasoned pro and 2022 POY #2, Ashish ‘rocky3705’ Ahuja, was on the cusp of another victory after his recent win in PokerBaazi’s IPM#99 Megastack and final table appearances in IPM#122 (7-Max) Deepstack and IPM#120 (PLO-6). He battled fiercely in The Ballers but ultimately had to settle for the runner-up spot, pocketing a still-impressive ₹2.95 Lakhs.
Ahuja also had a deep run in PokerBaazi’s IPM#131 Deepstack (71st for ₹9,390), bringing his total winnings for the day to at least ₹3.04 Lakhs. This Chandigarh-based poker phenom is clearly on a hot streak!
Shagun ‘sogani94’ Jain (opted out of our tracking), the two-time Game Changer champion and recent Sunday Head Hunter winner, also had a profitable Friday, amassing at least ₹1.90 Lakhs from three known finishes, highlighted by a fourth-place finish in Adda52’s The Ballers.
> 4th in Adda52’s The Ballers for ₹1,60,535
> 14th in PokerBaazi’s IPM#143 Megastack for ₹25,950
> 117th in PokerBaazi’s IPM#132 (PLO-6) for ₹3,800
The final table of The Ballers was a star-studded affair featuring some of the biggest names in Indian poker. Freshly-minted PokerStars India Ambassador Goonjan ‘gmtesting’ Mall snagged third place for ₹2.18 Lakhs, while recent Maverick champion Saurabh ‘saurabh21’ Rohila finished fifth for ₹1.18 Lakhs, raking in a jaw-dropping ₹14.67 Lakhs (at least) for the day.
The ₹8,050 buy-in The Ballers was a runaway success, generating a prize pool of ₹20.51 Lakhs, easily surpassing its guarantee. The top 44 players walked away with a share of the spoils, each raking in at least ₹15,800.
