Valentine’s Eve wasn’t just about whispered sweet nothings; it crackled with the electric charge of high-stakes poker all across. All eyes were glued to Manila, where two Indian poker warriors were making a deep run in the record-smashing APT Manila Classic 2025 Main Event. Their early exits on Day 4 today, though, were a bit of a letdown. Young Gun Siddharth Karia bowed out in 27th place, pocketing ₱305,000 (~₹4.58 Lakhs), while Rishi Mehra‘s tournament ended in 33rd, good for ₱223,000 (~₹3.35 Lakhs). With the Main Event final table set, the Indian contingent in Manila is now focused on the remaining side events, hoping to boost their four-title haul.

The online felt was ablaze, too. 2024 was a banner year for online poker, and 2025 is shaping up to be even bigger. On a day typically linked with romance, the digital tables were a cauldron of intense competition, stunning reversals of fortune, and enough drama to fill a soap opera, especially on platforms like PokerBaazi and Natural8 India.

The stakes are sky-high, particularly on PokerBaazi. The ₹5 Crore 2025 Player of the Year (POY) Leaderboard has become a battleground, the fight for the top spot an all-out war. Elsewhere, Junglee Poker’s ₹1+ Crore Lakhpati Legends is drawing in everyone from mid-stakes grinders to seasoned pros, all hungry for a big score as the series heads into its weekend climax.

And with the recent game-changing legislation, the future of Indian poker is looking brighter than ever. The new IT Bill has officially recognized online gaming as a distinct sector, separate from lottery and gambling, and the updated tax laws mean players can now officially offset their losses against their winnings. The excitement doesn’t stop there! PokerBaazi’s ‘Road to NPS kicks off this Sunday, signalling the start of the countdown to the colossal ₹100 Crore GTD National Poker Series India 2025. The coming weeks promise an adrenaline-packed rollercoaster of high-stakes battles, leaderboard chases, and fierce rivalries!

And stealing the Thursday thunder was Tarush Gupta! The online phenom delivered another stellar performance, finally breaking through after back-to-back runner-up finishes in the Big PLO-5 in the two preceding nights! He conquered PokerBaazi`s The Summit for a remarkable fourth time in just 3.5 months—his second win in the event in just two weeks—bagging a massive ₹7.50 Lakhs. Not content with just The Summit win, the Pune-based crusher racked up four additional scores on the platform, boosting his Thursday earnings to a whopping ₹7.95 Lakhs, making him the day’s undisputed top performer. Wilson Yomso came painfully close to his first The Summit victory, finishing as the runner-up for a heartbreaking third time, still earning a hefty ₹5.17 Lakhs—his biggest score of the year. Yomso added another deep run to his tally, pushing his total winnings past ₹5.24 Lakhs!

Over at Adda52, Randeep Lather was the man of the hour. He picked up his fifth title of the year, clinching victory in Adda52’s Godfather for ₹3.33 Lakhs after a heads-up deal—his best score of 2025 so far and his fifth-best overall. Siddhant Singh came charging for his first win of February but finished runner-up in Godfather, earning ₹3.26 Lakhs from the deal—his fifth final table finish in this event! Two more scores on PokerBaazi brought his Thursday total to ₹3.39 Lakhs, pushing him past the ₹2 Crore mark in tracked online winnings!

Pocket52 was the stage for Pratik Manjrekar`s continued dominance. Already riding high on three final table finishes on consecutive days across platforms, the poker prodigy from Poker Bootcamp India snatched his fourth title of the year in Pocket52’s Pocket Magnets, pocketing 1.88 Lakhs—his biggest score yet on the platform. He also made the final table in Adda52’s Godfather (5th for 1.10 Lakhs), boosting his total Thursday earnings to over 2.98 Lakhs. The red-hot Arpan Majhi, coming off a third-place finish in Sunday’s Pocket Kings, finished runner-up in Pocket Magnets for 1.32 Lakhs!

Abhimanyu Mittal, the Delhi poker powerhouse, roared back to form with a victory in PokerBaazi’s WTF. This was his second WTF title and his first win on the platform in 6.5 months, breaking a seven-week title drought. A heads-up deal earned him ₹2.89 Lakhs, and with another small score, he closed the day with nearly ₹2.96 Lakhs. Bhanu Prakash KC, the leaderboard legend with his eyes on the PokerBaazi POY title, continued his impressive run. He racked up at least ₹3.84 Lakhs from five deep runs, including a runner-up finish in the WTF for ₹3.39 Lakhs (taking the larger share of the deal) and another second-place finish in the PLO-5 Boost for ₹36,870. These results catapulted him to #11 on the PokerBaazi POY Leaderboard.

Prateek Parakh and Archit Saraogi also made their mark with victories in other flagship events on PokerBaazi. Parakh triumphed in the Daily Last Chance for ₹1.85 Lakhs, while Saraogi conquered the Summit Lite, taking home ₹1.59 Lakhs!

Vikram Mishra is on a remarkable hot streak. Fresh from a victory in Pocket52’s (7-Max) Deepstack Turbo on Tuesday and two final table runs on Junglee Poker last week, he continued his winning ways by clinching his second title of the week in Junglee Poker’s LL#26 Thursday Highroller, earning ₹2.10 Lakhs.

On Natural8 India, it was the Tarun Goyal show once again! Continuing his extraordinary momentum from Tuesday‘s headline-grabbing ₹3.54 Crores haul, the reigning 2024 POY champion extended his remarkable run by racking up ₹2.22 Lakhs across two deep runs. He placed 35th in the Thursday Throwdown HR 1050, earning ₹1.40 Lakhs, and finished 24th in the Thursday Throwdown 150, netting ₹81,176. These achievements have propelled his annual winnings to a mind-blowing ₹3.23 Crores, further adding to his commanding lead in the 2025 POY race as he sets his sights on a repeat victory!

Sandeep Varma R S made a spectacular return to Natural8 India after four months away by placing fifth in the Bounty Hunters Special 15 for ₹1.32 Lakhs. Meanwhile, ‘bluffmaster714‘ announced their arrival on the platform in style with a fourth-place finish in the Daily Special 10, good for ₹1.17 Lakhs.

Adding to this already spectacular night were standout victories from Paramjeet ‘culuxtum’, Nikhil Aneja, Kabir Dhamija, Arun Kumar, and Praveen KR in the other marquee events.

The Indian online poker scene is back in full force! With the post-GST dust settled and the new IT Act giving online gaming some much-needed recognition and clarity, the future looks bright. As always, PokerBaazi is leading the charge.

Known for hosting some of the country’s biggest tournaments and cash game promotions, PokerBaazi has been a game-changer. With the excitement building for the highly anticipated NPS India 2025, PokerBaazi once again delivered an electrifying lineup of its flagship events on Thursday. But the spotlight was firmly on the ₹50 Lakhs GTD The Summit, one of the most prestigious weekly tournaments on the platform. With a field packed with India’s top online crushers, this edition of The Summit was a poker spectacle not to be missed.

Emerging from the fray was none other than online phenom Tarush ‘Busterr’ Gupta, who has been on an absolute tear in 2025. After conquering The Quest and The Summit in January, Gupta was hungry for his third major win of the year. He had everyone’s attention after narrowly missing out on the Big PLO-5 title not once but twice just this week. This relentless player fired a jaw-dropping 19 bullets in the PLO flagship on Wednesday, determined to taste victory! Some questioned his strategy, but no one could doubt his sheer determination.

While our playful “meme” about his bullet-fest on Wednesday might have ruffled a few feathers in the poker community, no one can deny Gupta’s incredible talent. And like a true champion, he came back with a vengeance on Thursday night, yet again setting his sights on The Summit. He came locked and loaded with five bullets in his arsenal and systematically dismantled a field of 294 tough opponents (514 total entries) in the 8 PM showdown. After seven hours and forty minutes of intense action, Gupta emerged victorious, claiming his fourth The Summit title in just 3.5 months (and his second The Summit win in two weeks!). This victory came with a whopping ₹7.50 Lakhs payday, matching his biggest score of the year from his previous The Summit win on January 30.

But Gupta wasn’t done stacking up. This Pune-based crusher racked up four more scores on the platform, including a third-place finish in the (PLO-5) Boost for ₹24,998. By the end of the night, Gupta had amassed almost ₹7.95 Lakhs, making him the undisputed top performer of the day.

His incredible consistency and Thursday’s performance have catapulted him to #4 on PokerBaazi’s ₹5 Crores GTD 2025 Player of the Year Leaderboard, making him a serious contender for the crown – a great way to usher in Valentine’s Day. One thing’s for sure: whether it’s PLO or NLHE, Gupta is a force to be reckoned with whenever he sits down at the tables!

Facing Gupta heads-up in The Summit was the 42-year-old banker from Pasighat, Wilson ‘kalingkaling’ Yomso. Since winning the WTF on November 28, Yomso has been relentlessly chasing another major title. Coming close on several occasions, including a fourth-place finish in The Endeavour the previous night, Yomso was determined to finally conquer The Summit. He gave it his all, but fate dealt him a cruel blow. Yomso finished as the runner-up in The Summit for a heartbreaking third time, though he still walked away with a massive ₹5.17 Lakhs – his biggest score of the year and his fourth-highest on PokerBaazi.

Every player in the money took home at least ₹21,000, more than double the ₹10,000 buy-in. The King is Back! Abhimanyu ‘AsratManfi’ Mittal, the poker beast from Delhi, is a name that needs no introduction in the Indian poker scene. A trophy case glittering with prestigious titles like the Adda52 Big Game, Spartan Poker’s Millionaire Series, PokerBaazi’s THC#99 Main Event, and an NPS gold medal speaks for itself. But even kings experience droughts. Seven long weeks without a title (his last victory was in Spartan Poker’s Gravitron in December), filled with near misses and final table appearances – five this month alone – had everyone wondering when he would reclaim his throne. The wait ended last night.

Abhimanyu Mittal
Abhimanyu Mittal

Mittal stormed back onto the scene, conquering PokerBaazi’s ₹25 Lakhs GTD WTF for the second time (his previous victory was last February) and claiming his first win on the platform in 6.5 months.

The 7:30 PM flagship event was a marathon, a gruelling seven-and-a-half-hour battleground. Four hundred and seventy-one warriors entered the fray, 869 total entries with re-entries, all vying for the crown. But Mittal was unstoppable, outlasting them all to emerge as the last man standing. His victory not only ended his title drought but also padded his bankroll with a well-deserved ₹2.89 Lakhs after a heads-up deal. A small side quest in Pocket52’s Pocket Magnets (27th for ₹6,640) brought his total for the day to just shy of ₹2.96 Lakhs!

Bhanu ‘Chennaino1’ Prakash KC (opted out of our tracking), a certified leaderboard crusher, has been on an unbelievable heater on PokerBaazi this year. He’s got his eyes on the ₹1 Crore top prize in the platform’s 2025 Player of the Year Leaderboard, and he’s pulling out all the stops to get there. While he may have slipped in the rankings recently, a player with his unparalleled determination is never out of the race. After a string of impressive recent results, including a seventh-place finish in The Endeavour Lite and a victory in PLO-5 Boost just this week, Prakash nearly added the WTF title to his growing list of accomplishments. He came within striking distance, finishing a close second, but still scored the lion`s share of ₹3.39 Lakhs from the heads-up deal.

Archit ‘RareAbility’ Saraogi is blazing a trail in 2025! Just a fortnight after his BSS Super Value triumph on PokerBaazi, Saraogi struck gold again on the platform last night. He conquered the ₹12 Lakhs GTD Summit Lite, grabbing his second major title on the platform (in 2025) with a flourish.

Archit Saraogi
Archit Saraogi

This 7:30 PM flagship event is always a tough battleground, but Saraogi was more than ready. This two-time Sunday Superstack and former The Pride and WTF champion started his grind early in the day and tore through a field of 217 tough opponents (379 total entries). He emerged as the champion after a fast-paced 5-hour and 49-minute showdown, needing two bullets to seal the deal. This Chennai-based reg added a second SummitLite title to his collection and walked away with a cool ₹1.59 Lakhs thanks to a heads-up deal – a score that just missed the mark for his top ten on PokerBaazi.

But Saraogi’s Thursday wasn’t just about the Summit Lite. He also made deep runs in three other major PokerBaazi events, boosting his total Thursday winnings to nearly ₹1.94 Lakhs across a long but rewarding grind (while also chipping away at some of those past losses)!

Vaibhav ‘vane_shado’ Temani, the Jaipur poker ace, also made a serious run for the Summit Lite title. This former IOPC – TheCrown winner, fresh off his Big PLO-5 victory last week, kept his hot streak alive by reaching the final heads-up showdown in Summit Lite, also firing two bullets like Saraogi. While he missed adding the missing Summit Lite title to his already stacked poker resume, the heads-up deal awarded him a hefty ₹1.74 Lakhs – the biggest slice of the prize pool!

Vaibhav Temani

The Summit Lite’s final table was stacked with notables featuring last night`s WTF finalist Ashit ‘nexus010’ Sharma (3rd for ₹1.10 Lakhs), Shivankar ‘BlueCheese7’ Bahl (4th for ₹84,000), Snehil ‘GTORanges’ Aggarwal (5th for ₹58,800), Puneet ‘neo1’ Dua (6th for ₹45,600), EndBoss 7.0 runner-up Arbaaz ‘Abbc’ Ahmed (7th for ₹38,640), and last week`s Summit Lite finalist Inzemaam ‘Shavzz’ Husain (8th for ₹31,800).

With a buy-in of ₹3,001, the Summit Lite had a tiny overlay of ₹11,189. But that didn’t stop the massive ₹12 Lakhs prize pool from raining down rewards on the top 51 players. Everyone who cashed scored at least ₹7,200 (more than double the buy-in!), making it a profitable night for many and keeping the poker action red-hot on India’s biggest online poker platform!

Vikram ‘GreenSTUFF79’ Mishra (opted out of tracking) is on an undeniable hot streak. Fresh off a Pocket52 (7-Max) Deepstack Turbo victory on Tuesday and still glowing from back-to-back podium finishes in the Wednesday Superstack and Saturday Jacks on Junglee Poker last week, this online poker pro from Darbhanga hit it big on the platform, conquering the ₹10 Lakhs GTD LL#26 Thursday Highroller last night.

Vikram Mishra
Vikram Mishra

The 8 PM Legends Lakhpati flagship was a battleground. Three hundred and eleven hopefuls entered the arena, each dreaming of glory. For almost seven hours, the chips flew, the tension mounted, and the competition was fierce. When the dust settled, only one remained: Mishra. He seized the crown and, with it, a hefty ₹2.10 Lakhs prize. A significant chunk of that came from bounties, totalling ₹1.38 Lakhs.

Mishra wasn’t the only one making waves in the Thursday Highroller. Mystery user ‘rajvinod123‘ also had a fantastic run, finishing second for ₹77,168 (₹6,000 in bounties).

The Thursday Highroller final table also featured two other heavy hitters: recent Maverick DPT Edition finalist poker veteran Sahil ‘inaboobham’ Mahboobani (4th for ₹40,558, including ₹3,000 in bounties) and Wednesday’s Pocket Rockets finalist Amar ‘PsykoEko’ Iyer (8th for ₹14,737, including ₹3,000 in bounties).

In a night filled with overlays, the ₹3,450 buy-in LL#26 Thursday Highroller also saw a shortfall of ₹67,000 on its advertised ₹10 Lakhs guarantee. This created even more value for the players. The top 34 finished in the money, each taking home at least ₹7,469 from the ₹5.34 Lakhs cash prize pool. With another ₹4.66 Lakhs in the bounty pool, the action was non-stop, as players added to their stacks with every knockout. This exciting event set the stage for a thrilling finale to the Lakhpati Legends series, which wraps up this weekend.

Love was in the air on Valentine’s Eve, and for Randeep ‘randysingh’ Lather, that love came in the form of a massive victory! This passionate grinder, a consistent winner on Adda52 with a Big Whale and Adda52 Millions title already under his belt (both from last year), had been eyeing another breakthrough since his MMA Turbo 8-Max win on Adda52 over three weeks ago. Despite several deep runs and three final table appearances, that top spot remained elusive. But last night, Lather finally broke the dry spell in epic fashion, taking down Adda52’s ₹20 Lakhs GTD Godfather for a sweet ₹3.33 Lakhs after a heads-up deal.

When the chips settled, Lather had etched his name into the winner’s circle, claiming not only his first-ever Godfather title but also his best score of 2025 so far. Siddhant ‘AajNahiAana’ Singh, a formidable contender in his own right, entered the Godfather with his eyes on the prize. Having won PokerBaazi’s Big PLO-5 and (6-Max) BSS SPRINT in the same week last month, he was determined to add a February victory to his resume. He had reached the final table of Godfather four times in the past year (including once just three weeks ago), and he was looking to break the curse and finally take it down. While he ultimately fell short, finishing second (again!), he still walked away with an equally commendable ₹3.26 Lakhs from the deal with Lather.

But Singh wasn’t done padding his pockets. He added two more scores on PokerBaazi to his Thursday haul—finishing 72nd in WTF for ₹7,400 and 36th in The Pride Lite for ₹6,000. With over ₹3.39 Lakhs in total winnings for the night, Singh’s impressive run pushed him past the ₹2 Crore mark in tracked online winnings – a significant milestone for any poker player!

Siddhant Singh’s online stats (excluding Natural8 India, Junglee Poker and Pocket52): Lifetime Winnings: ₹2.01 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹76.28 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2025: #2

The Godfather final table was stacked with well-known regulars. Monday’s Afternoon Bounty finalist Naresh ‘nareshnow’ Kumar finished fourth for ₹1.50 Lakhs, while last night`s Poker Magnets champion Pratik ‘manjer24’ Manjrekar locked in another ₹1.10 Lakhs in fifth place. The ever-dangerous Aditya ‘Beware67’ Kesharwani (6th for ₹80,455), yesterday’s Sundown Adda champion Arun ‘ShahidKapoorAfridi’ Kumar (7th for ₹58,973), and recent The Endeavour runner-up Drish ‘dpatron’ Aggarwal (8th for ₹43,227) kept the battle fierce till the end!

On a day when many big-ticket tournaments were hit with overlays, even the Godfather wasn’t immune. The ₹5,750 buy-in flagship recorded a hefty ₹4.10 Lakhs deficit on its ₹20 Lakhs guarantee – an over 20% shortfall – but that translated into incredible value for the players! The top 47 finishers all walked away with at least ₹14,103—over 2.5 times the buy-in, making for a thrilling and value-packed night on Adda52!

Pratik ‘GorillaGlue’ Manjrekar, the poker prodigy from Poker Bootcamp India, the EndBoss Special Edition runner-up from July 2023, is on a tear. 2025 has been nothing short of explosive for him. His staggering ₹11.34 Lakhs haul on January 8, courtesy of a fourth-place finish in Natural8 India’s The Weekender 50 and wins in PokerBaazi’s WTF and Pocket52’s Pocket Rockets, set the tone. And he followed that up by conquering Junglee Poker’s Thursday Mini Highroller the very next day. Since then, Manjrekar has been hunting another title relentlessly, coming close time and time again.

This week has been a masterclass in consistency. A runner-up finish in PokerBaazi’s The Big Show (Monday), fourth place in Pocket52’s Pocket Bullets (Tuesday), and another podium finish in Junglee Poker’s Wednesday Superstack (Wednesday). Manjrekar has been a force across all the major platforms. With that kind of momentum, a win was inevitable.

And it finally happened. Manjrekar conquered Pocket52’s ₹8 Lakhs GTD Pocket Magnets last night, claiming his fourth title of the year. Riding the wave of those impressive finishes for three days straight, Manjrekar bulldozed through a field of 246 entries (130 unique) in the 8 PM marquee in just over 7.5 hours. His victory not only brings him his second Pocket52 title but also a hefty ₹1.88 Lakhs, his biggest score yet on the platform.

Manjrekar’s dominance didn’t end there. He also reached the final table of Adda52’s Godfather, finishing fifth for ₹1.10 Lakhs, boosting his total Thursday earnings to over ₹2.98 Lakhs.

> 1st in Pocket52’s Pocket Magnets for ₹1,88,240

> 5th in Adda52’s Godfather for ₹1,09,761

Pratik Manjrekar’s online stats (excluding Pocket52, Natural8 India and Junglee Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹4.42 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹1.44 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #4 (across all platforms)

Pratik Manjrekar’s Pocket52 stats: Site Winnings: ~₹11.04 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2025: #2

While Manjrekar was busy cleaning up, the red-hot Arpan ‘Novus’ Majhi (opted out of our tracking) came within a whisker of the Pocket Magnets title. Majhi, fresh off a third-place finish in Sunday’s Pocket Kings, was chasing his fourth title of the year. But fate had other plans. Majhi finished as the Pocket Magnets runner-up for ₹1.32 Lakhs.

The Pocket Magnets final table was a stacked affair. Last week’s Thursday Mini Highroller champion, Young Gun Anmol ‘Anzzzzz’ Mehta, took third place for ₹84,960. Last night’s Soda champion ‘NutsonTurn’ finished fourth for ₹62,880. Recent Pocket Rockets finalist Amar ‘PsykoEko’ Iyer grabbed fifth place for ₹47,200. Kanwal ‘kds007’ Deep Singh finished sixth for ₹37,760, Abhishek ‘MALIKSAAB’ Malik took seventh place for ₹31,360, and ‘JALEBI_BAI’ rounded out the final table in eighth place for ₹25,120.

The overlay wave also hit Pocket Magnets, as the ₹3,300 buy-in tournament fell ₹93,980 short of its ₹8 Lakhs guarantee. This created fantastic value for the players. The top 27 finishers made it into the money, with min-cashes starting at ₹6,440. This kind of value, combined with the thrill of competition, is what makes Pocket52 a favourite among tournament grinders. And with over ₹5.50 Crores guaranteed across tournaments on the platform this month, there’s plenty more action to come!
