Wednesday reigned in an eventful day of online action with MPL Poker’s inaugural IPF and PokerBaazi’s first-ever THC series dominating the virtual action. The next few weeks promise to unleash non-stop action with Spartan Poker’s biggest-ever ₹33 Crores GTD IOPC starting today, followed by PokerStars India’s Summer Series that commences its run on Friday!
For the third time this past week, the MPL Poker flagship winner topped the daily charts! And grabbing the glory yesterday was Tony Thomas, who won the biggest guaranteed event of the day, the ₹25 Lakhs GTD IPF#8 for ₹5.56 Lakhs. Rajkumar Gahlot came second for ₹3.87 Lakhs.
The #5 ranked player of the year, Rising Star Ritwik Khanna, shipped Spartan Poker’s Destiny for ₹3.52 Lakhs, becoming the first player to reserve his seat in the Destiny 24.0 SnG Finale scheduled for August 21 (9 PM). PokerGuru Ambassador Nadeem Basha collected ₹3.26 Lakhs in second place, courtesy of a heads-up deal.
Sarthak Aswal took down PokerBaazi’s THC#8 Monsterstack for a personal-best ₹2.86 Lakhs. Prakash Kumar came second for ₹2 Lakhs.
The former The Millionaire champion Anmol Narang made the victory march in PokerBaazi’s The Pride, netting ₹2.06 Lakhs. He chopped the Wednesday flagship title three-way with Ankit Modi (2nd for ₹1.83 Lakhs) and Eva Angom (3rd for ₹1.47 Lakhs).
The #1 ranked player in the annual TLB (points) standings, Rajneesh Thakur (Won THC#10 6-Max Turbo for ₹1.36 Lakhs), Raj Mehul Shah (Won THC#9 MegaStack for ₹1.23 Lakhs), Yash Dutt (Won THC#6 5-mac Hyper-Turbo for ₹1.02 Lakhs), Adil Damaniya (Won THC#7 Frenzy for ₹98,250) won the other THC titles on Day 2 of the series.
