After a firecracker Sunday, Monday seemed to pale in comparison. The silver lining was Spartan Poker’s Spartan Super Series (SSS) that played host to the SSS#25 ReCharge ₹14 Lakhs GTD last night. The Monday marquee tourney registered 783 participants (343 unique, 146 re-entries, and 294 re-buys) and collected a prize pool worth ₹15.66 Lakhs. Rishi ‘BollywoodNight’ Gupta topped the field and bested Sreeharsha ‘yUDdam’ Boneni (runner-up for ₹1.90 Lakhs) heads-up to walk away with a top prize of ₹3.02 Lakhs.

The SSS#26 Deep Freeze ₹8 Lakhs GTD, however, did not fare as well as the ReCharge and suffered an overlay of ₹80,000 on the back of 120 entries. Anonymous user ‘pot-pan’ surged to the top of the field and pocketed a winner’s payday worth ₹2.01 Lakhs, following a heads-up deal with PokerGuru Ambassador Ankit ‘Shippament’ Wadhawan who netted a ₹1.36 Lakhs paycheque for his runner-up finish.

With the PokerBaazi Monthly Series (PMVS) now in the books, the site returned to its regularly scheduled events. The biggest guarantee tournament on offer on Monday was The Bout ₹10 Lakhs GTD that attracted 399 entries (245 unique and 154 re-entries), with the site having to fill in a marginal ₹2,500 shortfall. ‘jayesh712’ locked horns with tournament regular Ayan ‘interalia_1’ Ray in the heads-up finale. While the former banked an impressive ₹2.10 Lakhs for their win, Ray took home an equally commendable ₹1.47 Lakhs for finishing second.

Adda52’s Inception ₹10 Lakhs GTD saw Uttam ‘chinunew’ Kumar Sinha champion over a 386 strong-entry field (190 unique and 196 re-entries) to walk away with the lion`s share of the ₹12.35 Lakhs prize pool worth ₹3.06 Lakhs. Young Gun Arsh ‘bigggtymer’ Grover came in second for ₹1.85 Lakhs.

The Monday Hustle ₹5 Lakhs GTD on PokerStars India pulled in 192 entries (96 unique and 96 re-entries), resulting in a prize pool collection of ₹5.76 Lakhs. Our latest Young Gun Anuj ‘brockLesnar95’ Yadav came out on top to claim ₹1.14 Lakhs in prize money!
