The weekend started with a bang as Spartan Poker`s FTS 3.0, PokerStars India`s INCOOP, and PokerBaazi`s IMPS laid out attractive guaranteed tournaments.

The biggest spectacle of the day was the ₹60 Lakhs GTD FTS#20 Monster Stack final table. The action commenced at 5 PM yesterday, and well-known reg Vaibhav Sharma rode his FT chip lead to victory. The five-time The Summit champion locked in a top prize worth ₹9.78 Lakhs and the FTS Gold Medallion after striking a heads-up deal with the inaugural IOPC Master Table champion, Aniket Waghmare (2nd for ₹9.14 Lakhs).

‘Mr. Consistent’ aka Kushagra Mehta is back in the spotlight, and last night, he took down PokerBaazi’s IMPS#41 Mini Main Event for ₹5.63 Lakhs. Ashit Sharma settled for a runner-up finish worth ₹3.98 Lakhs.

Young Gun Siddhanth Kripalani emerged victorious in PokerBaazi’s The Weekly HighRoller for ₹3.37 Lakhs, after besting NPS Main Event champion Mohammad Azhar (2nd for ₹2.36 Lakhs) heads-up.

Prithu Gaur shipped PokerStars India’s INCOOP – 40 Uppercut for ₹2.01 Lakhs, while online reg Ram Kakkar placed runner-up for ₹1.47 Lakhs.

Day 8 of the FTS 3.0 had five events on tap. The biggest draw of the day was undoubtedly the ₹60 Lakhs GTD FTS #20 Monster Stack. The start-of-final table chip leader Vaibhav ‘Beautiful Mistakes’ Sharma rode his chip lead to the finish line to win ₹9.78 Lakhs. This was Vaibhav Sharma’s 10th title of the year and his career-first FTS title.

The event featured the biggest entry buy-in at the series worth ₹88,000 and registered 120 entries, overlaying ₹4 Lakhs. The top 15 places were paid, and the elimination of ‘mukuw‘ (7th for ₹4.65 Lakhs) set up the six-handed final table. The #2 ranked player of the year Manish ‘thekid’ Lakhotia (1,244,750), ‘Daniel0617‘ (833,488), Arunkumar ‘denoi’ Singh (480,037), Apratim ‘checm@te’ Sharma (372,568), and FTS 2.0 Main Event champion, Young Gun Siddharth ‘Ari Tribbiani’ Karia (249,360) will join Vivek Singh on the FTS Highroller final table at 5 PM today. The ₹30 Lakhs GTD FTS#24 crowned a champion in Deepak ‘Checktrap6’ G Jain, who won about ₹5 Lakhs. A heads-up deal saw ‘Ss_gilli’ lock in a runner-up payout worth ₹4.92 Lakhs.

Vinay ‘BeepBeepImaJeep’ Rajpal chopped the ₹10 Lakhs GTD FTS#22 with Abhishek ‘abhi23451’ Pandey (2nd for ₹1.53 Lakhs) to collect a winner’s paycheque worth ₹1.65 Lakhs. This was Rajpal’s second FTS title, pushing his online winnings to ₹2.92 Crores (₹83.64 Lakhs in net profits).

Prithu ‘fna1tics’ Gaur proved the eventual champion and pocketed ₹2.01 Lakhs (includes ₹98,625 in bounties), defeating site regular Ram ‘TheLagLawyer’ Kakkar to the finish line. Kakkar secured a runner-up payday of ₹1.47 Lakhs (includes ₹44,250 in bounties).

Last night, the event played down to its six-handed FT with PokerGuru Ambassador Vivek Singh (2,819,797) bagging the overnight chip lead. He holds over twice as many chips as his closest competitor, the #3 ranked player of the year, Manish ‘thekid’ Lakhotia (1,244,750). Peush ‘Daniel0617’ Singhvi (833,488), FTS#17 Big Game & FTS#2 Friday Special finalist Arunkumar ‘denoi’ Singh (480,037), Apratim ‘checm@te’ Sharma (372,568), and FTS 2.0 Main Event champion, Young Gun Siddharth ‘Ari Tribbiani’ Karia (249,360) are others in contention to win the FTS Gold Medallion.

The event paid 15 places, and a min-cash was worth ₹1.80 Lakhs.

PokerGuru Ambassador Ankit ‘Shippament’ Wadhawan was the last player to fall out empty-handed.
