Sunday’s WPT India Quad 9 runner-up finisher Vaibhav Sharma delivered a smashing run last night to win two flagship titles. He took down the WPT India Gladiator on Adda52 for ₹7.65 Lakhs and his second WPT trophy. Not done yet, he also came out on top in PokerBaazi’s The Summit for ₹4.32 Lakhs. With an impressive ₹12.17 Lakhs in total winnings, Sharma emerged as the day’s biggest scorer!

Lavesh Meena placed runner-up in the WPT India Gladiator for ₹4.35 Lakhs, even as Nishaanth Shanmughasundaram took second place in The Summit for ₹3.03 Lakhs.

The former banker Rajat Sharma was the other “Sharma” who hogged the headlines. He shipped Spartan Poker’s The Big Deal for ₹8.81 Lakhs, becoming the seventh player on our tracked database to cross ₹8 Crores in online winnings.

Anuj Yadav was a standout performer. The fiery Young Gun, who topped the IOPC July edition leaderboard standings, posted two runner-up finishes in The Big Deal and the Highroller, respectively, netting ₹7.90 Lakhs.

Last week`s WPT Wednesday Feature champion ‘Hiesenberg07‘ took down the WPT Mini 6-Max for ₹2.21 Lakhs. Anirban Das finished runner-up for ₹1.31 Lakhs.

Nitin Arora won PokerBaazi`s Daily Sprint for the second time this month for ₹1.32 Lakhs. He added ₹2 Lakhs in Thursday winnings.

Biplob Rana, Juli Kumari, Dhaval Doshi, Adarsh Subham, Rehmat Singh Walia, and Clinton Tavares bagged the other marquee titles.

Spartan Poker has pivoted The Big Deal, making it a Thursday featured event. The high roller wrangled in 175 entries on its latest run, generating a hefty ₹35 Lakhs prize pool. The play culminated at 4.42 AM today, with the Millionaire – June champion Rajat ‘NoPrisoners’ Sharma walking away with the title and the ₹8.81 Lakhs up-top. The IOPC July 2021 leaderboard topper, Young Gun Anuj ‘titooTauji’ Yadav, settled for a runner-up payday of ₹5.95 Lakhs. Rajat Sharma also placed ninth in the WPT Gladiator for ₹45,000, collectively adding ₹9.26 Lakhs.

Caribbean Flex’ dominated the Spartan Poker Thursday flagships. The mystery user bested the 493-entry field in the ₹20 Lakhs GTD Trending Thursday to collect a site-best ₹4.80 Lakhs. Sandeep ‘ChasingExcellence’ Bhatnagar finished runner-up in the event for ₹3.05 Lakhs.

The champion also placed fourth in The Big Deal for ₹3.20 Lakhs, lapping up over ₹8 Lakhs through these deep runs. They now have ₹14.64 Lakhs in recorded winnings on Spartan Poker and ₹4.44 Lakhs in site-profits.

The fourth August edition of the ₹1 Crore GTD The Millionaire opened to action last evening. Day 1A of the five-flight event registered 335 entries, and by the end of the stipulated 25 levels of play, only 50 players made the cut. ‘Tiltedsoul13’ (241,445), PokerGuru Ambassador Ankit ‘Shippament’ Wadhawan (229,704), and Abhijeet ‘TheSupremeOne’ Kumar (170,247) topped the surviving field.

The Thursday headliner, the ₹30 Lakhs GTD WPT Gladiator, was taken down by Vaibhav ‘alienrobot’ Sharma, who bagged his second WPT Online trophy in four days and an impressive ₹7.65 Lakhs payday.
