The National Poker Series India 2025, PokerBaazi’s gargantuan ₹100 Crore GTD festival, is in full swing. After a Sunday explosion, Day 2 delivered a Monday encore that few could have predicted. This isn’t your average series; it’s a seismic event reshaping the very fabric of Indian poker. PokerGuru, the festival’s official media partner, is embedded in the action, chronicling every hand, every triumph, every leaderboard shift as this epic drama unfolds.
All told, Day 2 belonged to Vikhyat Ahlawat. Still riding the wave of his recent WTF victory, the WPT India Online Main Event finalist picked up his second major title of the year. Ahlawat, a force to be reckoned with in both NLHE and PLO, conquered PokerBaazi’s NPS#12 Monday Marathon with undeniable authority. The victory netted him a whopping ₹9.55 Lakhs – the second-largest cash of his career and his first NPS Gold Medal. But the story doesn’t end there. He went on to record two more deep runs, pushing his Monday earnings to a staggering ₹9.91 Lakhs. This Monday tour-de-force has catapulted him to the summit of the Uttar Pradesh State Leaderboard, to #11 on the NPS Series Leaderboard, and into a tie for second place on the NPC Leaderboard. Ahlawat undeniably earned the title of Monday’s most formidable player.
Sam Anand, last week’s Big PLO-5 finalist, narrowly missed his second NPS Gold (and first this series) in the NPS#12 Monday Marathon. His runner-up finish netted him a hefty ₹6.63 Lakhs and the Silver Medal, and deep runs in four other NPS flagships pushed his total to ₹6.81 Lakhs and he is now leading the Gujarat State Leaderboard. Nitin Rawat, the December WPT India Online Main Event champion, fresh off a final table appearance in the NPS#5 Inaugural, came this close to his first 2025 title and a second NPS Gold in Monday Marathon. But fate intervened. Rawat finished third, earning ₹5.06 Lakhs and his first NPS Bronze Medal. Deep runs in two other NPS flagships inflated his Monday total to over ₹5.20 Lakhs.
Nishaanth Shanmughasundaram also made a statement. Fresh from his epic win in Natural8 India’s Zodiac Main Event last week, the 2024 POY #4 swiftly added another major victory to his collection. He conquered PokerBaazi’s NPS#11 Knockout (PKO), locking in his maiden NPS Gold Medal and ₹7.09 Lakhs—his fourth-best score on PokerBaazi. Three more deep runs across the NPS flagship boosted his Monday earnings to nearly ₹7.40 Lakhs, rocketing him to #13 on the NPS Series Leaderboard and solidifying his reign atop the Tamil Nadu State Leaderboard. Tarush Gupta, on a red-hot streak this year, narrowly missed his fifth 2025 title, finishing runner-up in NPS#11 Knockout (PKO) for ₹4.66 Lakhs and his second NPS Silver Medal (his first this series), but his efforts didn’t stop there. With deep runs in five NPS events, he raked in over ₹6.19 Lakhs, climbing to a joint #3 on the Maharashtra State Leaderboard.
Snehil Aggarwal, who won the Blockbuster a few weeks ago, had a fantastic Monday. He took down the NPS#14 (PLO-6) Megadive, earning ₹4.32 Lakhs and the NPS Gold Medal—his second-best score on PokerBaazi this year. But his hot streak didn’t stop there. Aggarwal’s grind ignited as he also grabbed a fourth-place finish in NPS#8 (4-Max) Hyper and posted two more deep runs. By the end of his session, his total winnings for the night had soared past ₹6.32 Lakhs, pushing him to fourth on the NPS Series Leaderboard and to the top of the Haryana State Leaderboard. Zarvan Tumboli is on a roll. Just a night after winning Gold in the NPS#6 Marathon, the PokerBaazi Team Pro was back, finishing runner-up in the Megadive for ₹3.03 Lakhs and the Silver Medal. With additional deep runs, Tumboli’s total winnings for the night topped ₹3.55 Lakhs, making him the player to beat on the NPS Series Leaderboard and the overall leader on the NPC and Mumbai State Leaderboards. He’s clearly delivering on his promise of a dedicated online grind for the NPS.
Rajneesh Thakur is a force of nature. The 2024 TLB (points) leaderboard runner-up has been on a tear this year, racking up wins with effortless ease. His latest triumph came in PokerBaazi’s NPS#13 Deepdive, where he won ₹3.89 Lakhs and his third NPS Gold Medal (sixth NPS medal overall)—bringing his total Monday winnings to over ₹4.11 Lakhs from five deep runs. He now has eight titles this month and 11 for the year, putting him in a dead heat at #1 with ‘Dhakedboy’ (998 points) in PokerBaazi’s ₹5 Crores 2025 POY leaderboard race, second on the NPS Series leaderboard (just behind PokerBaazi Team Pro Zarvan Tumboli), and tied for the lead on the historically dominant Delhi State Leaderboard. Bharat Vasan, the 2024 Indian Poker Masters leaderboard crusher, also had a night to remember. Finishing runner-up in NPS#13 Deepdive for ₹2.68 lakhs for second place and the NPS Silver Medal, Vasan added two more deep runs on PokerBaazi, matching Thakur’s ₹3.17 Lakhs total haul for the day. He is now tied for second on the Uttar Pradesh State Leaderboard.
Abhijeet Kumar also struck gold. A low-to-mid stakes grinder who has been crushing it on Adda52 brought his momentum to PokerBaazi—and it paid off handsomely. He conquered PokerBaazi’s NPS#8 (4-Max) Hyper SPRINT for ₹3.65 Lakhs after a three-way deal and his first NPS Gold Medal—his second-best score on PokerBaazi, pushing his total Monday winnings to ₹4.50 Lakhs and catapulting him to #2 on the Bihar State Leaderboard. Close behind was Abhijeet Gautam, known for his runner-up finish in last year’s NPS#28 (6-Max) SPRINT, who added another Silver Medal in the Hyper SPRINT, pocketing a career-best ₹3.06 Lakhs (from the deal). This impressive finish launched him to #3 on the Rajasthan State Leaderboard. Harsh Wadhwani also claimed a spot on the podium, finishing third in the Hyper SPRINT for ₹2.73 Lakhs and the NPS Bronze Medal.
Neil Kanwar (Won NPS#9 Marathon for ₹3.10 Lakhs) and Ayush Goyal (Won NPS#10 Megadive for ₹1.89 Lakhs) completed the Day 2 gold medalists at NPS India 2025, each leaving their mark in spectacular fashion.
The National Poker Champion (India) Leaderboard race is tight, with Delhi, Maharashtra, and Uttar Pradesh in a close contest.
At the close of Day 2, Zarvan Tumboli, the NPS #6 Marathon champion and NPS #14 Megadive runner-up, leads the NPS India Series Leaderboard with 4,860 points from 10 cashes. Hot on his heels, Rajneesh Thakur holds second place with 4,670 points, also from 10 cashes, while Vinay Rajpal trails closely in third with 4,580 points with the same 10 cashes.
Adding to this already electrifying night were remarkable victories from Yash Chitre, Tanay Kauntia, Jay Gautam, and Abhishek Agarwala.

Day 2 of the ₹100 Crores GTD National Poker Series (NPS) India 2025 didn’t skip a beat! This wasn’t just a Monday—it was Monday madness! Forget those usual weekday doldrums; this was high-octane poker at its finest, rarely seen so early in the week. The “Olympics of Indian Poker” continued its record-smashing run, with ₹2.40 Crores guaranteed across seven tournaments. The poker faithful responded with a resounding “Yes!” as 11,795 entries flooded PokerBaazi, swelling the prize pool to a jaw-dropping ₹3.06 Crores.
The centrepiece of this electrifying Monday was the ₹75 Lakhs GTD NPS#12 Monday Marathon. Poker heavyweights, seasoned pros, and ambitious newcomers locked horns in a gruelling test of skill, strategy, and sheer endurance. When the dust settled after an epic battle, the WPT India Online Main Event finalist Vikhyat ‘supersaiyan57’ Ahlawat seized the crown, cementing his place in the NPS pantheon. Ahlawat, a respected name on the circuit known for his all-around game (NLHE and PLO), had already tasted victory last month in the WTF. But a second title this year? That was still on the table.
The Monday Marathon was an all-out spectacle with a staggering 1,068 entries (543 unique), turning the 7 PM showstopper into a marathon of its own—a tense, 10-hour-and-17-minute showdown. Ahlawat weathered the storm, emerging as the sole survivor. His reward: his first-ever NPS Gold Medal and a stunning ₹9.55 Lakhs payday – his second-largest career score. This triumph also added some serious sparkle to his NPS medal collection, which already boasted a Silver and two Bronze Medals from previous editions.
And the gold wasn’t his only treasure from the night! He cashed in four other NPS events, raking in over ₹9.91 Lakhs from six deep runs. This Monday rampage launched him to the summit of the Uttar Pradesh State Leaderboard, #11 on the NPS Series Leaderboard, and a joint #2 on the NPC Leaderboard, also earning him bragging rights as Monday`s top scorer!

Day 2 of the NPS India 2025 roared in with the same raw energy as its Sunday kickoff. The day’s second-biggest clash, after the NPS #12 Monday Marathon, was the ₹40 Lakhs GTD NPS#11 Knockout (PKO), the only progressive knockout event on the docket, which began at 6:30 PM
Even the frantic pace, supercharged by the bounty format, couldn’t rush the inevitable. The grind stretched into an epic nine-hour and 12-minute marathon. Emerging from this gruelling test of wills was Nishaanth ‘shanni’ Shanmughasundaram. Still buzzing from his epic win in Natural8 India’s Zodiac Main Event last week, he steamrolled the competition, seizing his maiden NPS Gold Medal and a massive ₹7.09 Lakhs, including ₹2.49 Lakhs in bounties – his fourth-best score on PokerBaazi.
The 2024 POY #4 needed two bullets to carve his way through the stacked 1,458-strong field (831 unique). This victory was especially sweet for the self-proclaimed recreational player, gifting him his first-ever NPS medal (a Gold, no less). His Monday performance wasn’t a flash in the pan. Cashing in three other NPS flagships, he boosted his total winnings to nearly ₹7.40 Lakhs, rocketing him to #13 on the NPS Series Leaderboard and cementing his reign at the top of the Tamil Nadu State Leaderboard.

Tarush ‘Busterr’ Gupta has been a wrecking ball on PokerBaazi this year, racking up a string of solid results. Wins in The Quest and The Summit in January, back-to-back near misses in the Big PLO-5 earlier this month, and then reclaiming The Summit crown for a second time in weeks (his fourth overall) paint a picture of his prowess.
After a ten-day dry spell without a flagship win, Gupta stormed back last night, almost pulling off an incredible double NPS Gold Medal run. Hot off his victory in the (PLO-6) Daily last Thursday, he took second place in the NPS#11 Knockout (PKO), pocketing ₹4.66 Lakhs (₹1.44 Lakhs in bounties) and his second NPS Silver Medal (his first this series). This finish pushes him to joint #3 on the Maharashtra State Leaderboard. Earlier in the evening, he also made a deep run in the lightning-fast NPS#8 (4-Max) Hyper SPRINT, finishing fifth for ₹1.19 Lakhs, just shy of the final table.
Gupta went hard on the NPS grind, racking up over ₹6.19 Lakhs with deep runs in five NPS events. He’s now stormed to #8 on the NPS Series Leaderboard and shares the #3 spot on the Maharashtra State Leaderboard, even moving to #6 on PokerBaazi`s 2025 POY Leaderboard.

Another eighth-place finish in the NPS#14 (PLO-6) Megadive added ₹54,233 to his total, bringing his Monday winnings to over ₹4.21 Lakhs. Recent The Summit champion Kovid ‘fzzzyyy’ Saraswat placed seventh for ₹1.20 Lakhs, and Vishal ‘Vishzz’ Bajaj rounded out the top eight with ₹85,795.
In a surprising twist, the NPS#11 Knockout (PKO) reported a staggering ₹10.84 Lakhs overlay, creating a bonanza for the players. The top 242 finishers walked away with at least ₹4,800, but the real treasure was the ₹29.16 Lakhs bounty pool, where every elimination meant a hefty reward. The colossal ₹100 Crores GTD NPS India 2025 is blazing a trail across PokerBaazi, and after a monumental Sunday kickoff, Monday’s action was just as explosive. And among the standout champions on Day 2 of the series was Rajneesh ‘msdhoni’ Thakur, a name whispered with a mix of awe and trepidation, who carved his way to the top in the ₹30 Lakhs GTD NPS#13 Deepdive.
Thakur’s recent form can only be described as a supernova. Coming off a phenomenal 2024, where he clinched the #2 spot on the TLB leaderboard with sheer grit and relentless play, he’s brought that same fire into the new year. This latest triumph isn’t just another notch on his belt; it’s his eighth title this month—his eleventh of the year. The man is unstoppable.
This isn’t just luck; it’s Thakur unleashed. January saw him achieve a triple crown of wins, and February is proving just as fruitful, with a string of victories across multiple platforms. His conquests include PokerBaazi’s (7-Max) Afternoon Boost, Daily Last Chance, Adda52’s Nighttide DST Adda, Voyager DPT Edition, and (PLO-5) Boost. And just last week, he kept the pressure on with back-to-back wins in PokerBaazi’s Summit Lite and Adda52’s Iron Man.
Then came Monday—a showdown of 1,730 entries and 925 unique players, all chasing the NPS#13 Deepdive Gold Medal. But Thakur, a master strategist, navigated the field with precision, displaying the skill and patience that have become his trademark. A long and testing nine hours and 41 minutes after the 8:30 PM start, he emerged victorious, ₹3.89 Lakhs richer after firing three bullets, and with his third NPS Gold Medal (his sixth NPS medal overall) in hand.
But Thakur wasn’t done dealing damage. Deep runs in three other NPS flagships added fuel to his fire, pushing his Monday earnings close to ₹4.11 Lakhs from five deep runs in total. This latest surge has catapulted Thakur to #1, neck and neck with ‘Dhakedboy’ at 998 points, in the race for the PokerBaazi ₹5 Crores 2025 POY title. But Thakur’s sights are set on the ultimate prize—the life-changing ₹1 Crore top payout. He also sits at #2 on the NPS Series leaderboard (just behind PokerBaazi Team Pro Zarvan Tumboli) and shares the lead on the historically dominant Delhi State Leaderboard.

Vasan has already tasted victory this year, winning PokerBaazi’s WTF on January 30. Since then, he’s been on the hunt for another title, coming close on several occasions, including a fourth-place finish in The Quest three weeks ago.
Last night, he delivered another gritty performance, battling through the tough competition in the Deepdive. Though another Gold eluded him, he walked away with a respectable ₹2.68 Lakhs for second place and the NPS Silver Medal—his second-best score on PokerBaazi this year. Two deep runs brought his total winnings for the day to almost ₹3.17 Lakhs.

The #NPSIndia2025 on PokerBaazi exploded into Monday, Day 2, crackling with enough electricity to power a small city. Amidst the digital dust-up, Neil ‘TheApexPredator’ Kanwar, a Delhi grinder known for his low-to-mid-stakes swagger, carved his name into PokerBaazi legend. After five months of relentless pursuit, Kanwar, fresh off his double After Dark Turbo victory last week, hunted down his first-ever flagship title. He didn’t just win; he conquered. The NPS Gold Medal in the ₹30 Lakhs GTD NPS#9 Marathon now belongs to him.
Kanwar’s ascent to the summit was a spectacle of skill and grit. He lived up to his fearsome moniker, dominating a field of 814 warriors (1,693 total entries) over nine relentless hours. His fantastic run culminated in a heads-up deal that showered him with ₹3.10 Lac. This wasn’t just a personal best; it obliterated his previous record by over three times. This triumph catapulted him to #3 on the Delhi State Leaderboard and #20 on the NPS Series leaderboard.

But Kanwar wasn’t the only story of the night. Delhi’s ‘ameyanagpal,’ a PokerBaazi regular since February 2022, experienced a near-miss that will resonate for a long time. They battled valiantly, only to fall at the final hurdle in the NPS #9 Marathon. Their Silver Medal (their first-ever NPS medal) and ₹2.81 Lac prize from the heads-up deal, a personal best, marked a turning point, pushing them back into the black on PokerBaazi.

The NPS#9 Marathon, with its accessible ₹2,070 buy-in, proved to be a magnet for players. The prize pool easily surpassed its guarantee, swelling to an irresistible ₹30.47 Lakhs. The top 260 finishers all earned a payday, with a minimum cash of ₹3,352. And so, the captivating narrative of the NPS India 2025 continues, with more chapters yet to be written.

Abhijeet ‘ERROR404’ Kumar has been tearing up the low-to-mid stakes on Adda52 this month, stringing together some impressive runs. He grabbed a podium finish in the Sundown Adda on Valentine’s Day and followed it up by taking down the Afternoon Bounty the very next day. But yesterday, he switched gears and took his heater to PokerBaazi, a move that paid off in a big way.
Kumar battled through a stacked field in the ₹25 Lakhs GTD NPS#8 (4-Max) Hyper SPRINT, the first NPS showdown of the day, clinching his first-ever NPS Gold Medal and walking away with a handsome ₹3.65 Lakhs after a three-way deal – his second-best score on PokerBaazi.
The 2:30 PM flagship saw Kumar fire two bullets before finding his rhythm in the massive 1,482-entry field, which included 600 players. The day`s opener was a lightning-fast showing, wrapping up in just over four hours with a three-way deal sealing things, but Kumar came out on top to add a Gold Medal to a previous Silver.
His day didn’t end there. Deep runs in the NPS#11 Knockout (PKO) (17th for ₹60,344) and the NPS#12 Monday Marathon (67th for ₹24,831) swelled his Monday winnings to over ₹4.50 Lakhs, propelling him to #2 on the Bihar State Leaderboard.

He navigated the Hyper SPRINT field with precision, finishing second for a career-best ₹3.06 Lakhs, also thanks to the three-way deal. This finish launched him to #3 on the Rajasthan State Leaderboard.

And let’s not forget Snehil ‘GTORanges’ Aggarwal, the champion of last night’s NPS#14 (PLO-6) Megadive. He started the grind with a solid fourth-place finish in the Hyper Sprint, adding ₹1.65 Lakhs to his haul!
The NPS#8 (4-Max) Hyper SPRINT was an absolute banger, generating a staggering ₹37.05 Lakhs prize pool, crushing its advertised guarantee. The top 248 finishers earned at least ₹4,446, more than 1.5 times the ₹2,875 buy-in. This shows how popular these fast-paced formats are at NPS India 2025.
