A mad rush to win Final Table Series medallions and National Poker Series medals turned what is usually a bland Monday into a rather exciting one!
Topping the Monday charts was the Spartan Poker user ‘cashcrop’ who took down FTS #16 – Double Stack for ₹6.28 Lakhs and the FTS Gold Medallion. The seasoned MTT pro Rajat Sharma finished runner-up for ₹3.94 Lakhs, climbing to #3 in the FTS leaderboard rankings.
Aayush Aggarwal (Won FTS #17 for ₹1.60 Lakhs), the recent IOPC – The Crown champion Amit Gehani (Won FTS #15 for ₹1.31 Lakhs), and Arun Sriram (Won FTS #14 for ₹1.43 Lakhs) won the other FTS medallions on Monday.
Vinay Ramamurthy headlined the Day 2 winners in PokerBaazi`s NPS 2.0. Playing just his ninth tournament on the site, the relatively lesser-known player shipped NPS#9 Monday Medley for ₹5.59 Lakhs.
Nikhil Krishna M won the NPS gold medal for taking down NPS#8 Megadive for ₹2.89 Lakhs, while Akshay Joshi took home the gold in NPS#10 KO Bout, banking ₹2.36 Lakhs.
Rohit Begwani (Won NPS#11 Hyper Sprint 4-Max for ₹1.48 Lakhs) and Rising Star Aman Parakh (Won NPS#7 Monday Run-Up for ₹1.35 Lakhs) took down the other NPS events yesterday.
PokerStars India reg Ajay Sharma came out on top in the Battle Royale (7-Max) for ₹1.01 Lakhs.
