The overlay woes for poker operators seemed to have significantly subsided as Thursday brought an action-driven day of MTTs. PokerBaazi’s Baazi Turbo Series 3.0, Spartan Poker’s ₹1 Crore GTD The Millionaire, and IndiaPlays’ rake-free The Dominator Series, added firepower to the day’s proceedings.

Leading the Thursday charge was the dynamic duo of Vishal Bajaj and Young Gun Anmol Mehta, who championed four flagship tournaments between them last night – scoring north of ₹9.50 Lakhs each.

The former The Millionaire champion Vishal Bajaj came out slightly ahead of Mehta on the Thursday charts, posting ₹9.92 Lakhs from three ITM finishes – storming to #5 in the annual rankings. He went on an absolute rampage on Spartan Poker, winning the two biggest guaranteed tournaments running on the site – Thursday High Roller (₹6.01 Lakhs) and Ultron (₹3.70 Lakhs).

After a litany of FT finishers, last month`s IOPC 14.0 Beast runner-up finisher Mithun Mahesh finally went the distance in PokerStars India’s The Colosseum [6-Max] to win ₹2.97 Lakhs.
