Thursday turned out to be another dull day for the online felts and one of the major reasons could be the ongoing Baazi Poker Tour (BPT) that has drawn the bulk of the MTT crowd to the live felts. The series is being held on-board the Casino Pride 2 and there was a major internet connectivity issue on the boat yesterday. Many players looking to play online even complained of not being able to log in and play. Needless to say, most of the Thursday flagships barring PokerBaazi recorded substantial overlays.
We usually refrain from naming Vishal Tulsyan. The media-shy poker reg doesn’t like to be named for his feats, but we make an exception here today since Tulsyan made a super-bumper show last night, finishing runner-up in two big tourneys. He almost made it to the finish line in PokerBaazi’s The Summit where he struck a heads-up deal with Harsh Dembla, finishing second for ₹3.80 Lakhs. Tulsyan also placed runner-up in Adda52’s Godfather, netting another hefty sum of ₹3.75 Lakhs. With ₹7.22 Lakhs earned over two near-wins, Tulsyan stands out as the day’s biggest scorer!
