The online poker action was significantly more electrifying than a usual Tuesday, thanks largely to the National Poker Series currently underway on PokerBaazi. The inaugural series is off to a flying start after recording guarantee-crushing turnouts on the first three days of its 15-day run.

PokerStars India`s first-ever Summer Series also powered down last night with Vishal ‘mdigurgaon’ Tulsyan taking down the Main Event title for a jaw-dropping ₹16.47 Lakhs.

Both the Spartan Poker marquees were championed by the 2020 leaderboard toppers. Young Gun Arsh ‘BigggTymeR’ Grover shipped the Mega Stack – Millionaire Bubble while Gaurav ‘mozzie17’ Sood took down The Race.

Rohan ‘likeaboss85’ Bhasin was the biggest of the three NPS Gold Medal winners yesterday as he came out on top in the ₹8 Lakhs GTD NPS#18 Deepdive. Deepanjan ‘Bluffstar’ Das also bagged his first NPS Gold Medal in the ₹3 Lakhs GTD NPS#10 PLO DeepDive – and he did it while live-streaming his deep run!

Rubin ‘kornkif’ Labroo, Sanish ‘sneakysani’ Chhabra, Rising Star Aman ‘Karmapoker’ Parakh, Debashis ‘dev255-pg1’ Bal, Parag ‘Persie’ Shah, and Pranav ‘pkpok13’ Khandalkar won the other Tuesday marquees.

Spartan Poker’s Daily Poker Marathon had two Tuesday marquees lined up on the schedule. The day`s headliner, the ₹20 Lakhs GTD Mega Stack – Millionaire Bubble, brought in a starting field of 662 entries – an almost 10% drop in attendance compared to the 725 entrants last week – overlaying ₹14,000. Young Gun Arsh ‘BigggTymeR’ Grover was the last player standing and won ₹3.48 Lakhs after striking a heads-up deal with the former The Millionaire and Mega Suits champion Hitesh ‘hitesh bhai’ Batra (runner-up for ₹2.85 Lakhs).

The #2 ranked player of 2020, Arsh Grover, bagged his third six-figure score in under a week. The Delhi-based MTT pro was one of the top Sunday winners on the back of his runner-up finish in The Millionaire for ₹9.59 Lakhs, and with 18.89 Lakhs in total winnings this past week, he has laddered up to the #8 spot on the annual leaderboard standings. Grover sits on the edge of the “₹8 Crore Club” with over ₹7.99 Crores in lifetime winnings.

The 8 PM event got in the books at 4:23 AM and paid out 55 places. PokerGuru Ambassador Ashish ‘Spewushhhiiiii’ Ahuja money-bubbled the event in 56th place to win a ‘The Millionaire’ Day 1A ticket.

The ₹7.50 Lakhs GTD The Race also witnessed a noticeable decline in numbers with 470 hopefuls (compared to the 515 entries last week) ponying up the ₹1,650 entry buy-in, resulting in an overlay shortfall of ₹45,000. Young Gun Gaurav ‘mozzie17’ Sood came out on top to add ₹1.40 Lakhs to his burgeoning bankroll after striking a heads-up deal with Ajit Singh ‘Thoda Bahot’ Arora (runner-up for ₹1.10 Lakhs).

The undisputed #1 ranked player of 2020, Gaurav Sood, is one of three players sitting on over ₹2 Crores in annual earnings. Last night`s win fetched Sood his 16th title victory of the year, further reinforcing his status as the frontrunner to become the first player on our tracked database to cross the ₹9 Crores milestone in online earnings.

PokerStars India`s inaugural Summer Series is finally in the books, with the ₹1 Crore GTD Summer Series – 123 Main Event playing down to a winner last night. The ₹11,000 entry buy-in event registered 912 entries, filling in a sizable ₹8.80 Lakhs overlay. Only 18 players returned for the final day`s play last evening, and outlasting them all was Vishal ‘mdigurgaon’ Tulsyan, who banked a whopping ₹16.47 Lakhs for the win. The mystery user ‘SSR@LUCKY placed runner-up for ₹12.07 Lakhs!

The former AOPS Main Event Finale and Two of a Kind champion, Vishal Tulsyan, prefers to maintain a low profile, but his online exploits have made it challenging for him to stay out of the spotlight.

Pranav ‘PranV’ Agrawal (4th for ₹6.48 Lakhs), the #1 ranked player of the year Manish ‘theoldestkid’ Lakhotia (5th for ₹4.75 Lakhs), Vaibhav ‘vaibsss’ Bhatia (6th for ₹3.48 Lakhs), Sahil ‘you3bi4b’ Nair (7th for ₹2.55 Lakhs), and Rajat ‘sharabikebabi’ Sharma (9th for ₹1.37 Lakhs) also FT-ed the Summer Series Main Event.

The inaugural National Poker Series (NPS) is on its fourth day today, and the past three days have been nothing short of spectacular. All NPS events have crushed their guarantees comfortably so far, with many even collecting over 2X the advertised guarantee.

Like the previous two days, Day 3 saw PokerBaazi running six NPS events, with three of them playing down to a winner.

Flight 1C of the ₹1 Crore GTD NPS#8 Golden Rush recorded 1,262 entries, taking the total entry count to 4,934 participants. The 4:30 PM ended at 10:26 PM, and only 131 players survived through to Day 2. The users ‘mechchan01’ (629,000), Yogesh ‘pokerbrat0118’ Choudhary (433,000), and ‘BigFishh’ (427,000) topped the survivors.

The mad rush of players in the Golden Rush spilled onto Flight 1D Last Chance of the NPS#11 Kick-Off. The last starting flight of the ₹2,750 entry buy-in event logged in 702 hopefuls, and after the stipulated levels of play, only 75 players made the cut for Day 2. The event needed 321 entries last night to break even, and with 2,381 registrations, it ended up collecting a juicy ₹59.52 Lakhs prize pool! ‘dev112410’ (456,000), Nitin ‘philhermouth’ Arora (412,000), and ‘Psyberius’ (365,000) bagged the top stacks of the day.

The ₹10 Lakhs GTD NPS#16 Freezeout was the third event running a starting flight on Tuesday. Flight 1B commenced at 8 PM and logged in 287 entries. After 4 hours and 24 minutes of gameplay, only 56 players bagged a stack, with The Endeavour champion Prince ‘NaNki’ Singh (192,000), Ashumi ‘Mavrik’ Parekh (169,000), and Dipankar ‘dbelieves’ Arhat (161,000) rounding out the top three stacks of the flight. The ₹2,750 entry buy-in event has filled in 608 seats, crushing its advertised ₹10 Lakhs prize pool guarantee by over 50%, with one flight still to go.

The biggest guaranteed event to award medals was the ₹8 Lakhs GTD NPS#18 Deepdive. The ₹1,650 entry buy-in event logged in 1,256 contenders, collecting over 2X the advertised guarantee! The whopping ₹18.84 Lakhs prize pool was shared among the top 144 places, and Rohan ‘likeaboss85’ Bhasin walked away with the lion`s share of the prize pool worth ₹3.17 Lakhs and the NPS gold medal. Kapil ‘kapsa92’ Kumar Vasita finished runner-up for ₹2.22 Lakhs.

Deepanjan ‘Bluffstar’ Das also bagged his first NPS Gold Medal in the ₹3 Lakhs GTD NPS#10 PLO DeepDive, netting ₹1.51 Lakhs. However, what made this victory sweeter for the upcoming streamer was that he won the Gold while live-streaming his run in the event. You can watch the replay of the stream below.

‘crushflips’ won the third NPS Gold Medal awarded on Tuesday after taking down the ₹2 Lakhs GTD NPS#13 Sprint (6-Max) for ₹98,784.

The 2020 India Poker Champion Rubin ‘kornkif’ Labroo came out on top to win ₹3.72 Lakhs, with Anmol ‘anmol39’ Agarwal placing runner-up for ₹2.25 Lakhs.

The former PPL Main Event champion and two-time Mega Suits winner, Rubin Labroo, has crossed ₹6.56 Crores in lifetime earnings after his Tuesday win and boasts ₹88.12 Lakhs in annual earnings.

The ₹3 Lakhs GTD Voyager enjoyed a smashing run after 414 entries ponied up the ₹1,100 entry buy-in, collecting a ₹4.14 Lakhs prize pool. After almost seven hours of action, Adda52 user ‘kripanshk’ picked up the title and the ₹1.01 Lakhs up-top. ‘narayanpn’ placed runner-up for ₹61,350.

PokerStars India`s inaugural Summer Series powered down last night with its showstopper ₹1 Crore GTD Main Event crowning a champion.

Eighteen finalists from a starting field of 912 entrants came back for Day 3. The former AOPS Main Event champion Vishal ‘mdigurgaon’ Tulsyan outlasted them all to collect his third seven-figure career finish worth ₹16.48 Lakhs and the bragging rights of becoming the first-ever Summer Series Main Event champion.

The final day got underway at 7:30 PM and stretched for two hours and forty-two minutes before Tulsyan came out trumps. The mystery user ‘SSR@LUCKY finished runner-up to become the only other player to collect a seven-figure score worth ₹12.08 Lakhs.

Day 2 will have 293 survivors (unique players) reconvening at 6 PM today to play down to a winner.

Spartan Poker’s ₹20 Lakhs GTD Mega Stack – Millionaire Bubble began proceedings at 8 PM. With so much happening all across, the ₹3,300 entry buy-in event could only muster 662 entries, 62 entries lesser than its last week’s run. The site filled in ₹14,000 in overlays.

Young Gun Arsh ‘’BigggTymeR’ Grover shipped the tourney, netting ₹3.48 Lakhs after shaking hands on a heads-up deal with Hitesh ‘hitesh bhai’ Batra (runner-up for ₹2.86 Lakhs).

This is Grover’s third big score in under a week. On Sunday, he had within touching distance of winning The Millionaire for a second time – he placed runner-up for ₹9.59 Lakhs, collectively earning ₹9.75 Lakhs in the event. The same day, Grover also finished fourth in the Adda52 DOPT 6 Max Showdown for ₹2.37 Lakhs to emerge as one of the top winners over the weekend.

The Delhi-based MTT pro has added almost ₹18.89 Lakhs in weekly earnings to move up to #8 on the 2021 annual leaderboard, with ₹1.54 Crore in yearly earnings.

Also making a close run to the title was Debashis ‘dev255-pg1’ Pal, who placed third for ₹1.78 Lakhs. Pal placed one better in the ₹2 Lakhs GTD Ultimate PLO, winning the title for ₹51,260. In all, he added ₹2.29 Lakhs through the day.

PokerGuru Ambassador Ashish ‘Spewushhhiiiii’ Ahuja fell out on the money bubble in 56th place, winning a free ticket to The Millionaire Day 1A coming up tomorrow.

The NPS#6 SPRINT third-place finisher Prince ‘NaNki’ Singh (192,000) bagged the end-of-day chip lead with Ashumi ‘Mavrik’ Parekh (169,000) and Dipankar ‘dbelieves’ Arhat (161,000) rounded out the top three stacks advancing through Flight 1B.

It was past 5 AM when the dust settled with the MTT phenom Gaurav ‘mozzie17’ Sood shipping the event to add a ₹1.40 Lakhs payday. He chopped the top prize heads-up with Ajit Singh ‘Thoda Bahot’ Arora (runner-up for ₹1.10 Lakhs).

Sood placed 76th in the NPS #18 DeepDive for ₹4,145, altogether earning ₹1.44 Lakhs. For someone who had topped the annual rankings for an incredible 34 consecutive weeks last year, Sood is again venturing dangerously close to reclaiming the #1 position again this year. He is currently ranked #3 on the annual charts with ₹2.06 Crores in yearly winnings and ₹8.76 Crores in lifetime earnings.
