Wednesday brought the regular weekly fare comprising the Destiny, Maverick, The Pride, and Night on Stars. PokerGuru Staking, after a relatively quiet last few days, scored runner-up finishes in two flagship tourneys.

PokerGuru Ambassador Vivek Singh banked the second-biggest score of the day after chopping the Destiny with “Radiohead,” while teammate Arjanveer Singh Chadha placed second to Kunal Patni in The Pride.

Vishal Maharaj, Dhirendra Kumar, Sandy Lamba, and Gaurav Sood were the other big winners.

Wednesdays on Spartan Poker have become synonymous with the Destiny. Ever since Vinayak Bajaj championed the Destiny 17.0 Finale on January 31, the weekly series has moved on to its 18th edition. The ₹5,500 entry buy-in tourney dragged in 533 entries last night, collecting over ₹26.65 Lakhs in prize money. The anonymous player ‘Radiohead’ was the last player standing and won ₹5.65 Lakhs after a heads-up chop with PokerGuru Ambassador Vivek ‘KasolHieghts’ Singh (runner-up for ₹5.54 Lakhs). The mystery winner also booked a seat in the Destiny 18.0 Finale scheduled for March 21.

The ₹2.25 Lakhs GTD Mega Freeze was taken down by ‘Kirmizi Elma,’ who topped the 79-entry field to win ₹65,175. Paras ‘AAKKQQJJ’ Jain finished runner-up for ₹46,334.

Day 3 of the Ultimate Value Series (UVS) had six events running. Offering the most-massive prize pool guarantee of them all was the ₹5.75 Lakhs GTD UVS #18 6-Max, where a turnout of 593 entries resulted in ₹41,300 in overlays. Coming out on top was ‘mr.wayne,’ who scored their best-recorded finish on Spartan Poker worth ₹83,943 following a three-way deal with ‘iMax’ (runner-up for ₹77,848) and ‘Vakeel.sahab’ (3rd for ₹71,601).

PokerStars India’s 7:30 PM attraction, the ₹5 Lakhs GTD Night on Stars, logged in 313 entries, collecting a guarantee-smashing ₹5.55 Lakhs. Young Gun Gaurav ‘3betPanda’ Sood shipped the tourney – his fifth tourney title of 2021 – netting ₹1.14 Lakhs (₹52,151 in prize money, ₹61,986 in bounties). Raghavendra ‘Pokeriyaa Hada, who had final tabled Spartan Poker’s The Millionaire on Sunday, secured a runner-up finish worth ₹50,887 (₹38,226 in prize money, ₹12,661 in bounties), pushing his MTT tally to ₹69.35 Lakhs.

Sood, the undisputed #1 ranked player of 2020, posted a ninth-place finish in PokerBaazi’s The Pride for ₹25,578, moving up to ₹7.16 Crores in lifetime earnings.

Starting off two hours after the Night on Stars was the ₹1.75 Lakhs GTD Big Bubble Rush, where 220 runners came in to play, collecting a profitable ₹2.20 Lakhs prize pool. ‘MrBigSlick139’ (anonymity requested) championed the tourney for ₹46,406 (₹20,281 in prize money, ₹26,125 in bounties) and ‘lethal281088’ placed runner-up for ₹20,172 (₹14,702 in prize money, ₹5,469 in bounties).

PokerBaazi’s Wednesday night attraction, the ₹10 Lakhs GTD The Pride, logged in 348 entries, and the top 45 places got a slice of the juicy ₹12.18 Lakhs prize pool. The tourney played down to an epic heads-up showdown between Kunal ‘VasooliChacha’ Patni and PokerGuru Ambassador Arjanveer Singh ‘holdbabyChadha. Eventually, the former banker, Kunal Patni, came out on top to win ₹2.55 Lakhs. Chadha lapped up ₹1.79 Lakhs. With this score, Patni has crossed the 4 Crore-marker in lifetime earnings.

The 9 PM Special ₹2.5 Lakhs GTD Wednesday MegaStack attracted 122 hopefuls to witness a shortfall of ₹6,000. Mohak ‘Tiltin’ Kapoor championed the tourney to win ₹67,000, with Sandy ‘Ziigmund’ Lamba placing runner-up for ₹46,930.

Both Mohak Kapoor and Sandy Lamba ran deep in The Pride as well. Kapoor placed seventh for ₹42,630, banking ~₹1.09 Lakhs through the day. His MTT scorecard reflects ₹1.56 Crores in lifetime earnings. Lamba placed third in The Pride for ₹1.15 Lakhs, netting ₹1.61 Lakhs in cumulative winnings on Wednesday.

Firing up the MTT action on Adda52 was the ₹15 Lakhs GTD Maverick that clocked 674 entries, piling in a prize pool kitty of ₹15.33 Lakhs. Vishal ‘VishalMaharaj’ Maharaj clinched the flagship title for ₹3.41 Lakhs after eliminating Dhirendra ‘Dhiru006’ Kumar (runner-up for ₹2.63 Lakhs) in second place.

Like the Maverick, the other featured tourney on the site, the ₹4 Lakhs GTD La Luna, also rode past its guarantee, collecting ₹4.28 Lakhs on the back of 261 entries. A heads-up deal on the final table ended the proceedings, with Saahib ‘saahib’ Bawa walking away with the title and ₹93,642. Attman ‘att1992’ Pradipbhai Velani finished runner-up for ₹83,994. The Maverick runner-up finisher, Dhirendra Kumar, placed fourth in La Luna for ₹36,383, netting almost ₹3 Lakhs cumulatively.
