Tuesday almost invariably ends up outdoing Monday, both in terms of tourney guarantees and turnout – and yesterday was no different. While some flagships registered overlays, several others sailed through.

Here is a complete recap of all that transpired yesterday.

Spartan Poker

Offering the biggest prize pool guarantee of the day was the Spartan Poker-hosted ₹20 Lakhs GTD Mega Stack. The ₹3,300 entry buy-in tourney logged in 558 entries to post an overlay of ₹3.26 Lakhs. After almost eight hours of rigorous play, FTS Main Event sixth-place finisher, Nagendra ‘SorosDruckTudor’ Vadlamani, came out on top to win ₹3.37 Lakhs. He struck a heads-up deal with Mohd. ‘mndka’ Parvej (runner-up for ₹2.97 Lakhs). Vadlamani’s best individual score is the ₹8.75 Lakhs he won in Adda52’s WPT India Mini Highroller on November 6. Valdamani’s Tuesday night win has pushed his recorded earnings on Spartan Poker to ₹13.76 Lakhs with a net profit of ₹4.29 Lakhs.

The other Tuesday marquee, the ₹7 Lakhs GTD The Race, fared better than the MegaStack. The 9.30 PM tourney wrangled in 483 entries to collect ₹7.25 Lakhs in the prize pool. It was 4.45 AM on Wednesday by the time PokerGuru Ambassador Arjanveer ‘bazzingaa’ Singh Chadha grabbed all the chips in play to win ₹1.16 Lakhs and the title. The Endeavour champion Arpan ‘Novus’ Majhi finished runner-up for ₹1.15 Lakhs – courtesy of a heads-up chop.

The former The Millionaire X5 winner, Chadha, placed 3rd for ₹1.20 Lakhs. The two deep runs helped Chadha add ₹2.35 Lakhs to his bankroll, boosting his MTT tally to ₹5.45 Crores.

Day 2 of the Ultimate Value Series was headlined by the ₹4.6 Lakhs GTD UVS #12 Deep Stack – BOOST. In the end, Devesh ‘Tukka5400’ Lohia shipped the tourney for ₹90,811 after striking a three-way deal with Sandeep ‘effuno’ Varma RS (runner-up for ₹74,509) and ‘Drawingdead18’ (3rd for ₹66,011).
