The Diwali fireworks may have fizzled out, but the action on the online felts is running hot! While the 10th Anniversary celebrations on PokerBaazi have ended, the boosted guarantees and thrilling tournaments are still going strong. And with Junglee Poker’s ₹5+ Crores GTD Grand Poker Party heading towards its finale and Natural8 India consistency dishing out massive scores, the post-Diwali poker scene was electric!

Wilson Yomso, the stylish banker-turned-poker pro from Pasighat, led the charge on Friday night. After breaking a year-long title drought with a victory in PokerBaazi’s Blockbuster Lite last month, Yomso continued his winning ways by conquering The Quest for a massive ₹4.41 Lakhs after a heads-up deal, making him the day’s top scorer. Hot on his heels was Suchit Save, who finished as the runner-up for ₹3.99 Lakhs – his second-best score on the platform. Save made two more deep runs, bringing his total Friday winnings to over ₹4.05 Lakhs.

JaiKiran Kumar also had a Friday to remember, showing his incredible multi-tabling skills across platforms. He narrowly missed out on a title in PokerBaazi’s The Quest Lite, finishing as the runner-up for ₹1.40 Lakhs. He also jumped over to Natural8 India and snagged a podium finish in Forty Stack 44 for ₹2.39 Lakhs, then headed back to Junglee Poker to make a final table appearance in the GPP#41 Party Special for ₹27,345. Kumar racked up ₹4.06 Lakhs from these three solid finishes, making him the second-biggest winner of the day and bringing him closer to overtaking Mohak Kapoor at #12 in the Player of the Year standings.

Deepak Varma continued his recent winning streak on Adda52. Riding high on his victory in the Sunday Head Hunter DPT Edition and consecutive wins in the Nighttide DST Adda and Bounty Adda on Wednesday, he dominated The Ballers DPT Edition for ₹3.38 Lakhs. He also cashed in two other events, bringing his total for the day to ₹3.42 Lakhs. The formidable Ashish Munot came close to a third The Ballers title, finishing runner-up for ₹2.50 Lakhs.

He cashed in two more Grand Poker Party events, bringing his total for the day to over ₹3.33 Lakhs. ‘allahkapapa‘ also had a strong showing in the GPP#41 Party Special, finishing as the runner-up for ₹1.31 Lakhs.

Mystery player ‘tripacesontop‘ finished second for a personal-best ₹1.78 Lakhs, offsetting all past losses.

Kunal Chaudhary, a sporadic mid-to-high stakes grinder, ended an 11-month title drought with a victory in PokerBaazi’s The Quest Lite for ₹2.01 Lakhs – his second-best score of the year and third-best overall.
