As has been the trend these past 15 days, Spartan Poker’s record-smashing IOPC series turned out to the biggest attraction on the virtual felts Thursday. Here is the complete recap of all the online action.

The biggest buy-in tourney on the IOPC schedule, the ₹1 Crore GTD IOPC #99 Super High Roller, had 149 entries ponying up the ₹1.05 Lakhs buy-in fee to collect over ₹1.4 Crores in prize money! Besting the star-studded field was Young Gun Anuj ‘tittooTauji’ Yadav, who claimed the lion’s share worth ₹35.76 Lakhs after defeating well known pro Siddarth ‘PeterPunter’ Singhvi (runner-up for ₹24.28 Lakhs) heads-up. PokerGuru Ambassador Vivek ‘KasolHieghts’ Singh won a career-best ₹16.01 Lakhs for his third-place finish. Abhishek ‘MambaMentality’ Goindi, who was live-streaming his run in the tournament, did well to finish 4th for ₹13.23 Lakhs.
Running alongside the IOPC Super High Roller was the IOPC Main Event – The Crown ₹3 Crores GTD. Thursday saw Day 1D of the tourney register 409 entries to bring the total field size to 1,770 entries. By the end of the day`s play, 54 players bagged chips for Day 2 with mystery player ‘dharatal’ assuming the chip leader’s role with 248,289 in chips. Close on the heels was PokerGuru Ambassador Kartik ‘TheInternetKid’ Ved (248,083) with Manish ‘potlords’ Gandhi (222,580) rounding out the top 3 stacks of Day 1D.
The other headline tourney on what was a very eventful Thursday on Spartan Poker was the ₹40 Lakhs GTD IOPC #98 Ultron. The tourney drew a stacked field of 1,055 entries to accumulate a prize pool worth ₹42.20 Lakhs. Walking away with the title and the ₹7.99 Lakhs first-place cash prize was Avadh ‘cateyes’ Shah, who defeated PSL CEO Pranav ‘Boller’ Bagai heads-up to win his second flagship title on the site this week. Shah had won the IOPC Mega Stack on Tuesday for ₹5.8 Lakhs. Bagai settled for the runner-up prize money worth ₹4.89 Lakhs. With this score, Shah has crossed the ₹90 Lakh-mark in recorded online winnings while Bagai has touched ₹75 Lakhs.
Event #100 on the IOPC schedule carrying a ₹15 Lakhs GTD registered 505 entries to crush its posted guarantee. The title went to Nirmal ‘varonir’ Sankhla, who earned ₹2.95 Lakhs after defeating the former IOPC Main Event champion Anurag ‘Norman Bates’ Srivastava (runner-up for ₹1.87 Lakhs) in heads-up play.
The ₹10 Lakhs GTD IOPC#101 Destiny – IOPC Edition saw online reg Shashank ‘Goldfish097’ Shekhar walking away with the title and the ₹2.60 Lakhs prize money that came with it after defeating PokerGuru Ambassador Naresh ‘FreeFlow’ Veeravalli (2nd for ₹1.58 Lakhs) heads-up.
IOPC #96 ₹6 Lakhs GTD was championed by Ajay ‘gabbarsingh’ Dhayal, who defeated ‘hook7’ (2nd for ₹85,440) heads-up to win ₹1.25 Lakhs.

After more than eight hours of grueling action, Harsh ‘100crdream’ Dembla came out on top defeating Spartan Poker pro Rubin ‘kornkid’ Labroo (2nd for ₹3.10 Lakhs) in heads-up. This was Dembla`s third time winning this tournament, and the title victory earned him ₹4.42 Lakhs.
The ₹10 Lakhs GTD IMPS#97 Highroller turned out to be a smashing hit as a packed field of 925 sign-ups helped generate a ₹18.50 Lakhs prize pool, and the top 108 places got paid. Capturing the title after almost a 10 hour-long grind was ‘blacksuit22,’ who took away ₹3.24 Lakhs in prize money. Vinay ‘vinay09’ Rajpal finished runner-up for ₹2.27 Lakhs.
The ₹5 Lakhs GTD Thursday MonsterStack was taken down by Ayush ‘Proman502’ Garg, who won ₹1.29 lakhs. Divij ‘divij24’ Soni finished runner-up for ₹90,150.

Thursday marked the beginning of the ₹1 Crore GTD APF Full House. The first starting flight registered 205 entries, and only 23 among them made the cut for Day 2. Leading the group of advancing players was none other than MTT beast Sanat ‘mehro2511’ Mehrotra (284,605). Online regs Gagandeep ‘gaganhyd’ Singh (240,932), and Mohit ‘Gandiaa’ Dhingra (220,134) carried the next top stacks.
The ₹30 Lakhs GTD APF Godfather found a winner in Aman ‘zontory’ Bhadu, who claimed ₹7.05 Lakhs after defeating Suresh ‘insanium’ Kolli (runner-up for ₹4.11 Lakhs)in the heads-up play. The ₹5,500 buy-in event registered a shortfall of ₹65,000 on the back of 587 entries.
The ₹11,000 buy-in APF Mega PLO ₹10 Lakhs GTD booked a loss of ₹2.10 Lakhs on the guarantee from a below-par turnout of 79 entries, and the top eight places finished ITM. Spartan Poker’s Super High Roller runner-up Siddarth ‘badtameez_donk’ Singhvi came out on top to win ₹2.30 Lakhs after a four-way deal with Ankit ‘helter_skelter’ Kapoor (runner-up for ₹2.09 Lakhs), ‘DADDY5050’ (3rd for ₹1.78 Lakhs) and Nikhil ‘crazy_coyote’ Ramesh (4th for ₹1.66 Lakhs).

PokerStars India booked another losing day as the site`s ₹15 Lakhs GTD Highroller could only muster 205 entries to leave an overlay of ₹65,000. Outlasting the reg-laden field was PokerGuru Ambassador Vivek ‘Mystic Peaks’ Singh, who beat Young Gun Gaurav ‘3betPanda’ Sood (runner-up for ₹2.16 Lakhs) heads-up to win ₹2.94 Lakhs. Singh had a breakout Thursday as he also finished third in the Super High Roller on Spartan Poker for ₹16.01 Lakhs – adding almost ₹19 Lakhs to his bankroll in one night. He has crossed ₹3.64 Crores in recorded online winnings.
The ₹5 Lakhs GTD Battle Royale Mini fell ₹20,000 short of break-even on the back of 192 entries. Vaibhav ‘vaibsss’ Bhatia took down the title for ₹88,453 after a three-way deal with ‘SlickkkBob’ (2nd for ₹68,217) and ‘mohitg16’ (3rd for ₹55,040).

The multi-flight IOPC Main Event – The Crown ₹3 Crores GTD added 409 contenders on Thursday, expanding the field to 1,770 entries. After about five hours of play, the field whittled down to 51 survivors. They will be joining the 161 qualifiers (Day 1A – 61, Day 1B – 49, and Day 1C – 51) from the three previous starting flights for Day 2 on Sunday.
The anonymous player‘dharatal’ bagged the most massive stack of 248,289 at the end of Day 1D. PokerGuru Ambassador Kartik ‘TheInternetKid’ Ved ended the day a close second with 248,083 in chips. Manish’potlords’ Gandhi rounded out the top three stacks with 222,580.
Amit ‘Immortal Killer’ Sur (213,718), Nishant ‘FunkyouFTW1’ Sharma (158,963), Kunal ‘TiltAtma’Patni (157,907) and Harsh ‘Anandilal Katpitiya’ Bubna (148,198) featured among the top 10 stacks of Day 1D.

The weekend headliner of the APF series, the ₹1 Crore GTD APF Full House, kicked off on Thursday with the first of its six starting flights.
Gathering 205 entries, Day 1A played out 29 ten-minute levels. In the end, only 23 survivors packed their bags and will return on Day 2.

Things got heat a notch higher on Spartan Poker last night after the IOPC #99 Super High Roller ₹1 Crore GTD commenced proceedings at 9 PM. The tournament drew 149 contenders (92 unique, 43 re-entries and 14 rebuys), enough to surpass its guarantee by more than 40%!
It took more than 10 hours for the dust to settle and taking home the lion’s share of prize money was Young Gun Anuj ‘tittooTauji’ Yadav. Yadav has several big scores to his name, and had four back months, captured The Millionaire Legends title for ₹42.93 Lakhs.
As fate would have it, Yadav, who had beat well-known reg Siddarth ‘PeterPunter’ Singhvi to the Millionaire title, clashed heads-up with him again yesterday. Denying Singhvi yet another major title, Yadav took it down for ₹35.76 Lakhs.
Singhvi secured a runner-up payday of ₹24.28 Lakhs.
The final table was replete with talent. After nearly eight hours of play, at around 4:57 AM on July 24, Nirmal ‘varonir’ Sankhla emerged as the champion. Sankhla had shipped IOPC#89 ₹4 Lakhs GTD on Wednesday for ₹77,400 and added a cool ₹2.95 Lakhs to his bankroll with this win.
It wasn’t an easy title for Sankhla to win as he had to fend off former Millionaire Main event champion Anurag ‘Norman Bates’ Srivastava in the heads-up showdown. In the end, Srivastava was relegated to the runner-up spot for a ₹1.87 Lakhs payday. Srivastava now has ₹3.76 Crores in recorded online cashes, out of which ₹2.04 Crores he has earned in 2020 alone.

This win was a welcome one for Shekhar, who had won his last title on Spartan Poker over a month back in the Sunday SuperStack ₹35 Lakhs GTD for ₹7.39 Lakhs, which happens to be his biggest score on the site, thus far.
