The other big guarantee event on PokerBaazi last night was the PPL#41 The Summit MonsterStack ₹35 Lakhs GTD, which drew in 527 entrants (250 unique and 277 re-entries), creating a prize pool of ₹39.52 Lakhs. ‘quadkiller007’ shipped the event for a colossal ₹7.67 Lakhs.
Spartan Poker’s Ultron ₹20 Lakhs GTD ran its usual course last night, registering 562 participants (263 unique, 100 re-entries, and 199 re-buys), leading to a prize pool collection of ₹22.48 Lakhs. Seasoned pro Zarvan ‘BolAuntyAuKya’ Tumboli championed the event, after striking a heads-up deal with MTT expert Hitesh ‘hitesh bhai’ Batra. Tumboli banked ₹3.59 Lakhs, while Batra locked in ₹3.56 Lakhs.
Meanwhile, the Dominator ₹6 Lakhs GTD logged in 274 entries (140 unique, 27 re-entries and 107 rebuys) and India’s poker icon, Aditya ‘Yennefer’ Agarwal juggernaut to the top of the field to pocket ₹1.39 Lakhs in prize money. The tourney suffered an overlay of ₹52,000.
Adda52’s Godfather ₹25 Lakhs GTD crowned a winner in anonymous player ‘mannu425’ who took home a hefty sum of ₹6.68 Lakhs for their win. The event clocked in 569 entries (259 unique and 310 re-entries), resulting in a prize pool of ₹28.45 Lakhs.
The Highroller ₹15 Lakhs GTD on PokerStars India suffered a shortfall of ₹37,000 on the back of 209 entries (106 unique and 103 re-entries). PokerGuru Ambassadors Nadeem ‘Downtownplaya’ Basha and Ashish ‘Spewushhhiiiii’ Ahuja were the last two players standing and agreed to a heads-up deal, with Basha eventually taking down the title. Both Team Ambassadors received ₹2.55 Lakhs each. Basha also finished runner-up in PokerBaazi’s PPL#38 DST ₹5 Lakhs GTD, adding another ₹73,268 to his bankroll.
