With this, PSL once again found a new champion. The Delhi Panthers had won Season 1, with the Goan Nuts winning the Season 2 title.
Season 3 Team Standings
The Deccan Aces owned by Sam Reddy and Vijay Madduri featured skipper Kunal Patni, pros Rajat Sharma, Abhishek Rathod, wildcards Vaibhav Sharma, Neel Joshi and hashtag qualifiers Chiraag Patel and Muskan Sethi. Myron Pereira and FTS Big Game champion Dhirendra Kumar were the two online qualifiers in the team.
The finals brought an end to an almost-month-long season. The first-ever virtual poker league has been running on the Hashtag Poker app since January 18, with eight teams in contention.
Deccan Aces were always the dark horse and never out of contention. They had taken an early lead in the league stage matches and maintained a steady pace all through, featuring among the top three of the team standings. The Deccan Aces and the Delhi Czars were the two teams that qualified directly for the finale.
The two new teams introduced in Season 3, i.e., Bengaluru Legends and Chennai Troopers, placed eighth and fifth, respectively.
The finale was live-streamed on Viacom18’s VOOT app, and the complete match should be available under VOOT’s video-on-demand section soon.
The Pocket52 PSL – Season 3 (Virtual) might have come to an end, but there is more to look forward to with a post-produced PSL Season 3 web series due to air on VOOT in April!
More updates from the Pocket52 PSL Season 3 (Virtual) will be updated here shortly. Stay tuned.
