After three long weeks of lukewarm action, this past Sunday was a blistering one! While the fourth edition of the Final Table Series has been running on Spartan Poker and other associated sites since March 4, the second edition of PokerBaazi`s National Poker Series got going yesterday, making for an electrifying Sunday.
The first of two multi-flight events of FTS 4.0, ₹1 Crore GTD FTS #13 – Supreme, concluded last night, with Deepak Singh winning the FTS Gold Medallion and a career-best ₹20.77 Lakhs. Singh scored in three more events, picking up ₹20.97 Lakhs across his Sunday run.
Abhimanyu Mittal was a close contender to win the FTS Supreme title, but in the end, he had to settle for a runner-up finish worth ₹16.82 Lakhs, courtesy of a heads-up deal. His Sunday earnings touched ₹17.62 Lakhs on the back of six ITM finishes.
Kshithesh Siraboina (Won FTS #11 – Sunday Special for ₹10.74 Lakhs), Mritunjay Singh (Won FTS #12 for ₹2.67 Lakhs), Archit Saraogi (Won FTS #10 for ₹1.91 Lakhs), and Unnikrishnan Nair (Won FTS #9 for ₹1.86 Lakhs) took down the other FTS marquees.
Day 1 of the NPS 2.0 declared six champions, and headlining the list was Areyann Gurbaxani, who took down the ₹30 Lakhs GTD NPS#4 Sunday Marathon for ₹6.79 Lakhs.
Avijit Jaiswal banked ₹4.57 Lakhs for winning the NPS#1 Kick-Off, while Amit Tejura took home ₹3.16 Lakhs for his outright victory in NPS#2 Evening Slam Dunk.
Rishab Malik (Won NPS#3 Sunday Deepdive for ₹2.45 Lakhs), PokerGuru Ambassador Jayjit Ray (Won NPS#5 PLO Deepdive for ₹2.14 Lakhs), and Young Gun Anuj Yadav (Won NPS#6 SPRINT for ₹2.62 Lakhs) won the other NPS Gold Medals on Day 1 of the series.
PokerGuru Ambassador Vivek Singh was the second player from PokerGuru Staking who made the Sunday winners list for taking down the Adda52 Millions for ₹7.37 Lakhs. The MTT pro has been a consistent winner and notched up ₹8.10 Lakhs in Sunday winnings through five ITM finishes. Vishal Ojha won the other Sunday flagship on Adda52, Mega Suits, for a career-best ₹6.12 Lakhs.
Myron Pereira championed PokerStars India’s Sunday Special Progressive KO, taking home ₹2.55 Lakhs, while Shravan Chhabria won the Sunday Highroller for ₹2.39 Lakhs.
Himanshu Kataria, Anurag Srivastava, Rakshit Vedh, Shrey Baj, Shiv Chugh, and Vishal Singh won the other Sunday marquees.

Nitin ‘philhermouth’ Arora (409,000), ‘sundar1234’ (384,000), and Kshitij ‘Kmk1127’ Kucheria (381,000) topped the survivor’s list.
