Deepankur Gupta, Vaibhav Temani, Sahil Nair & Manmeet Oberai Emerge as the Sunday Millionaires

A little less than a week since the 2022 Baazi Poker Tour wrapped up, online poker has roared back to life, with The Millionaire Series taking off on Spartan Poker and other associated sites. Unsurprisingly, the day’s biggest winner came in the ₹75 Lakhs GTD Millionaire Series#5 – Double Millionaire. The multi-flight event was championed by none other than the former IOPC The Crown winner Vaibhav Temani, who bested PokerGuru Ambassador Deepankur Gupta. Both players took home ₹17.64 Lakhs each. While Temani’s Sunday run saw him pocket ₹17.77 Lakhs cumulatively, Gupta outperformed him by raking in ₹18.24 Lakhs, making him the Sunday chartbuster.

Goonjan Mall (Won Millionaire Series#4 for ₹3.51 Lakhs) and Kanishka Samant (Won Millionaire Series #2 for ₹1.72 Lakhs) were the other known names to win Millionaire Series titles yesterday.

Three other players joined Deepankur Gupta and Vaibhav Temani in the ‘Sunday Millionaire Club’– Sahil Nair, Manmeet Oberai, and Millionaire Series #3 champion “CharlieDREW.” Nair took down PokerBaazi’s ₹1 Crore GTD #BB2 MoneyMaker for ₹14.79 Lakhs. However, a heads-up chop saw Oberai take home a better ₹14.97 Lakhs for his runner-up finish.

The first-ever IOPC Mastermind Aniket Waghmare emerged victorious in the Adda52 Millions for ₹7.53 Lakhs, while Young Gun Anuj Yadav locked in a runner-up payout worth ₹4.48 Lakhs.

The recent NPS Super Highroller winner, PokerGuru Ambassador Kartik Ved, won Adda52’s Mega Suits for ₹6.31 Lakhs. He made away with ₹8.50 Lakhs in Sunday winnings across four ITM finishes.

Atishay Samuel was the last player standing in PokerStars India’s Sunday Special (On-time Rake Refund) and won the Sunday title for the third time for ₹2.72 Lakhs.

Rising Star Ritwik Khanna took down the Sunday Highroller for ₹2.20 Lakhs, following a heads-up deal with Myron Pereira (2nd for ₹2.37 Lakhs)

The other Sunday winners were Piyush Jain, Rishab Malik, Ayush Arora, Amrit Mishra, Adithya NG, Mohak Kapoor, and Swapnil Patil.
