With the 52nd Annual WSOP underway in Las Vegas, the attention of the poker community has shifted to live felts. Nevertheless, Indian participation in the series has been impacted by travel restrictions. Resultantly a relatively smaller contingent is confirmed for the series.

Coming to the Sunday recap, the virtual felts were ringing with action, and Spartan Poker`s The Millionaire dominated the weekend schedule. The popular MTT made a comeback after a three-week hiatus, and this time around, the event guaranteed ₹20 Lakhs to the ultimate champion. The mystery user ‘SiValee’ emerged as the latest The Millionaire champion and won ₹17.60 Lakhs following a heads-up with Dhinesh Kumar (2nd for ₹14.38 Lakhs).

Young Gun Siddhanth Kripalani shipped the BSS SuperStack for the second time last night, walking away with ₹3.69 Lakhs. Veteran pro Sumit Sapra collected a runner-up payout worth ₹3.66 Lakhs, courtesy of a heads-up deal.

The lawyer-turned-poker pro Anmol Mehta shipped PokerStars India’s Sunday Special for ₹3.62 Lakhs, while Myron Pereira won the Sunday Highroller for ₹3.25 Lakhs.

Vinayak Bajaj, Shawn Jose, Advait Rajguru, Sanish Chhabra, Adarsh Jha, and Animesh Thakur won the other Sunday marquees!

Spartan Poker

Returning after a three-week hiatus, Spartan Poker’s The Millionaire was the star attraction this past weekend. The event clocked in 1,639 entries across five starting flights, collecting a ₹82 Lakhs prize pool. The USP of the top-heavy Millionaire was that the eventual winner was guaranteed a ₹20 Lakhs payday.

The ₹5,500 buy-in tourney was ultimately championed by the user ‘SiValee,’ who banked ₹17.60 Lakhs after agreeing to a heads-up deal with Dhinesh ‘kendralust’ Kumar. The latest Millionaire winner also ran deep in the Sunday SuperStack, finishing 15th for ₹51,474 and pushing their site-cashes north of ₹18.47 Lakhs, with ₹15.44 Lakhs in corresponding profits.

The champion now has ₹10.82 Lakhs in recorded earnings on Spartan Poker.

Shawn ‘LoopreviL’ Jose chopped the ₹8 Lakhs GTD Money Heist title with Naman ‘Nammy09’ Puri (2nd for ₹1.25 Lakhs) to collect ₹1.37 Lakhs. Jose also finished sixth in Adda52’s Sunday Showdown for ₹41,724, raking in ₹1.78 Lakhs in Sunday winnings.
