DPT Xpress 2018: Series Kicks Off With Burn ‘N’ Turn Event at Casino Deltin Denzong in Sikkim

While the Pro Poker Club in Ho Chi Minh City of Vietnam is playing host to World Poker Tour (WPT) Vietnam, the live domestic circuit is gearing up for yet another thoroughly competitive and challenging edition of the Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT). In its unique avatar, the inaugural DPT Xpress (DPTX) will be hosted at Casino Deltin Denzong, located at Hotel Denzong Residency in Sikkim from September 27-30.

The series kicked off with the Burn ‘N’ Turn event today and will be followed by The Bounty Nuggets on September 28.

Many known regulars of the online and domestic circuit are expected to participate in the DPTX series that also aims to pool in participation from casual players from Sikkim and surrounding areas. With DPTX featuring modest buy-ins, tournament organizers Adda52 and Deltin will be looking to get many cash game regulars to join the series as well.

There are a total of four events as part of the series’ roster and while cash games are expected to be part of the action, the featured events involve buy-ins ranging from ₹5,000 to ₹15,000.

Highlighting the series will be the Main Event featuring a ₹15,000 buy-in and will begin on September 29. Late registration for this event will remain open till Level 8. The fourth event has been kept open as Players’ Choice and participating players will decide the variant from various options like Teams Event, a Heads-up Event or a Satellite event for the upcoming World Poker Tour (WPT) India edition slated for November.
