Two major titles have been awarded at the 2022 PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) presented by Monte-Carlo Casino underway at the Monte-Carlo Sporting complex on the French Riviera, with Yuri Dzivielevski (cover-left) and Jean-Noel Thorel (cover-right) bagging the Spadie Trophies.
Brazilian star Yuri Dzivielevski championed the first €25K Single-Day High Roller to claim the PokerStars Spadie Trophy and a top prize of €448,515 (~$473,217). Canadian poker superstar Daniel Dvoress banked €387,435 (~$408,773) for his runner-up finish, courtesy of a heads-up ICM deal.
Football superstar and PokerStars Ambassador Neymar Jr also made an appearance in the Single-Day High Roller but busted soon after the late registration period got over.
French entrepreneur Jean-Noel Thorel clinched his career-third live title in the €10,200 Mystery Bounty Event for €184,790 (including €77,500 in Mystery Bounties). Spanish poker pro Sergi Reixach settled for a runner-up payday worth €253,760 (including €177,500 in Mystery Bounties).

Before taking down the title, Dzivielevski struck a heads-up ICM deal with Canadian pro Daniel Dvoress, who collected €387,435 (~$408,773) for his runner-up finish.
The two-time WSOP bracelet winner Yuri Dzivielevski staged an epic comeback to win the title as he was the shortest stack with 3 BBs during the final table. This was also his biggest recorded live score, boosting his live tournament winnings to $2,264,683.
The €25,000 buy-in event collected a prize pool of €1,776,740 in the prize pool and paid out the top 11 places.
Rok Gostisa (10th for €44,420) and Jose Quintas (11th for €44,420) crossed the money line but failed to fetch a seat at the final table.
Yuri Dzivielevski and Daniel Dvoress flipped for the trophy after the ICM heads-up deal was cracked. Dzivielevski shoved in the dark with , and Dvoress followed with a call without looking at his cards and turned over . The board gave Dvoress a queen-high straight. But, Dzivielevski made an ace-high flush to lift the trophy.

Spanish poker pro Sergi Reixach collected €253,760 in second place (including €177,500 in Mystery Bounties).
According to his Hendon Mob profile, Thorel boosted his live tournament tally to $7,353,183 after the win.
The €10,300 buy-in event paid out 11 places from the €390,100 prize pool, while the mystery bounty pool was €415,000.
Boris Kolev (10th for €9,750) and Hiroshi Nishiyama (11th for €9,750) also ITM-ed the event.
In the last hand of the event, Sergi Reixach check-shoved on the flop . Jean-Noel Thorel called with . Reixach had two live cards and a flush draw but missed his outs on the turn and river. Thorel’s pair of fours got him his third career title.
