The season of mergers continues, with a recent report of one more. The latest is news of iGaming affiliate FourCubed LLC taking over poker training site, DeucesCracked for an undisclosed amount.
Canadian giant Amaya had been at the forefront of the acquisition wave, when it first took over the Rational Group with its flagship sites PokerStars and Full Tilt. In recent times, the merger of Ladbrokes and Coral, as well as the ongoing war for bwin.party by 888 Holdings and GVC has been in the news.
This new takeover of DuecesCracked by FourCubed translates into a new dimension for the way a poker training site operates and could well serve to be a trailblazer for others to follow. Certainly, the final results will be closely watched and monitored.
Understandably, Jim Olson, President, FourCubed, is ecstatic about the new acquisition and told the press, “DeucesCracked is a great addition to the FourCubed family. Chuck and the team bring complementary skills and assets to our overall growth plan.”
DeucesCracked is a subscription-based site that offers training by top pros, including Jay Rosenkrantz, Joe Tall, Dani “Ansky” Stern, and Vanessa Selbst. Users can first avail a free trial and then opt for packages from $29 a month and going up to $278.40 for a full year.
Chuck Danielsson, Co-Founder, DeucesCracked, was equally enthusiased and said that, “DeucesCracked is very excited to be a part of the team here at FourCubed. Their industry reach means our content will be able to find a larger audience and our customers will have access to the most competitive player offers on the market.”
The press release does not state what will happen to current subscribers of DeucesCracked and only time will tell the next step by the newly merged entity.
