The recently concluded Seminole Hard Rock ‘n’ Roll Poker Open Championship ended up attracting the largest field in the series’ history, logging in 1,566 entries across two starting flights. The massive turnout ensured the $2 Million guarantee was not just met but obliterated, with the top 195 finishers getting a share from the $5.01 Million prize pool, with the min-cash good for $5,265.

The six-handed final table was live-streamed, and Gediminas Uselis (cover image) eliminated Jacob Ferro (2nd for $573,605) heads-up in an epic cooler to win the title for a career-best $778,490, the RRPO trophy. He also won the distinction of having his name inscribed on the WPT Champions Cup.

On the final hand of the night, Ferro’s pocket jacks clashed with Uselis’ queens. Both players hit a set on the board, but Uselis’ dominating hand won him the title!

Uselis had championed MSPT Event #27: $1,600 DeepStack Championship in October, and this latest win has pushed his lifetime live MTT cashes to $1.46 Million.

Indo-American Anshul Rai was another strong contender for the title and placed sixth for $170,835 (~₹1.28 Crores)! Rai got out on a bad beat with his losing out to Harout Ghazarian’s – the latter flopping a queen!

Harout Ghazarian (3rd for $380,000), Selahaddin Bedir (4th for $282,380), and Clayton Maguire (5th for $211,925) also FT-ed the tourney.

Some other notables who cashed but fell short of the FT included Willie Wiggins (7th for $139,610), Joseph Cheong (10th for $79,630), Scott Levitt (13th for $48,900), and Kristen Bicknell (15th for $40,860).
