The 12th Edition of the India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) is well underway on Spartan Poker and partner sites PokerHigh and BLITZPOKER. IOPC Week of Legends

While the IOPC Blaze and IOPC High Roller have crowned champions, players have four more marquees to look forward to.

 

IOPC Legends

The 2 Crores GTD IOPC Legends, featuring a ₹11,000 buy-in kicked off on Friday, January 28. Day 1A registered 290 entries, with 33 runners making it through to Day 2.

The remaining three starting flights will take place on:

> Day 1B – January 29 at 7 PM

> Day 1C – January 30 at 1 PM

> Day 1D – January 30 at 5 PM

Day 2 will take place at 10:30 PM on January 30.

The first-ever IOPC Mastermind Aniket Waghmare had shipped the IOPC Millionaire Legends in January, last year, for ₹36.36 Lakhs. Amit Gehani, who finished runner-up in Thursday’s IOPC #49 – High Roller, claimed the IOPC Legends title in July for ₹30 Lakhs.

 

IOPC Super High Roller

Next up will be the 1.3 Crores GTD IOPC Super High Roller. With a buy-in of ₹1.05 Lakhs, this is the costliest event of the series. This one-day event will take place on February 3 at 9 PM.

Last year, Sriharsha Doddapaneni had shipped the IOPC Super High Roller for ₹33.92 Lakhs in January, while the mystery user ‘Pradzzz’ had won the title in July for ₹35.22 Lakhs.

 

IOPC PLO High Roller

For all the PLO lovers, the 45 Lakhs GTD IOPC#106 PLO High Roller, sporting a ₹22,000 buy-in, will take place on February 5 at 9 PM. Shrey Maheshwary has shipped the title in February 2021 for ₹11.79 Lakhs.

 

IOPC The Crown

The magnum opus of the series, the 3.5 Crores GTD IOPC – The Crown, is a multi-flight event that will run from January 31 to February 6, sporting a buy-in of ₹11,000.

> Day 1A – January 31 at 7 PM

> Day 1B – February 1 at 7 PM

> Day 1C – February 2 at 7 PM

> Day 1D – February 3 at 7 PM

> Day 1E – February 4 at 7 PM

> Day 1F – February 5 at 7 PM

> Day 1G – February 6 at 1 PM

> Day 1H – February 6 at 5 PM

Day 2 will take place at 10 PM on February 6.

PokerGuru Ambassador Laksh Pal Singh had overcome a 3,985-strong-entry field in the January edition of the IOPC The Crown to take home a career-best ₹51.81 Lakhs payday. Vaibhav Temani outlasted poker stalwart Aditya Agarwal (2nd for ₹33.21 Lakhs) in the July edition of the IOPC The Crown, banking a ginormous ₹58.02 Lakhs (cumulative) payout.

The ‘Game of Tickets’ promotion commenced from January 2 and will run till February 5. Players can win cash prizes, including bumpers prizes with a flat 50% off on their IOPC buy-ins!

The Game of Tickets promotion is divided into two stakes.

 

High Stakes

Players can win flat 50% cashback on IOPC buy-ins up to ₹7.50 Lakhs, if they can earn 1,600 points for four weeks. If they can earn 1,000 points in the same period, they can win flat 50% cashback on IOPC buy-ins up to ₹3.5 Lakhs.
