Gossip and poker are inseparable, so here we are with more nutty tales. First off, we talk about an unusual social media attack on Cate Hall. What started with her Twitter account going missing, ended up with her claiming that an imposter account had been tweeting – posing as her for weeks!
Nothing gets the gossip mills churning like politicians. In the latest such incident Atlantic City Mayor was caught on video in a brawl with a local councilman outside the Golden Nugget casino.
Go ahead and read it all!
On November 27, Kelly Minkin noticed that Cate Hall`s account was missing on Twitter and while the Twitterati folks started speculating that it was an attention cry, Hall tweeted something no one expected.
Just logged on to find all my followers gone & that someone has been tweeting from an (eerily life-like) imposter account for weeks. Would appreciate any RTs to spread the word since I now have zero followers. @Liv_Boeree @RealKidPoker

Hall’s twitter showed only 1 follower in spite of people claiming that she was still on their follow list.
I’m not sure why it’s showing 0, but I’m still following and see your tweets in TL

Something screwy is definitely going on, because your profile shows you with only one follower, but me and many others are still following you.

Oh. Shit. I assumed you just deleted it.

My last tweet before today was Nov. 10, the day I deleted, so I don’t know what that was. Both my timeline & the timeline of the imposter account run from before that, if anyone wants to compare. Unfriended on here or Facebook?

And they had the foresight to steal the account of someone who’s been aggressively trolling me since a few months after I joined. Truly, we’re dealing with a criminal mastermind.

It comes across as “RealPhilIvory” for me, which is an account that has trolled me before.

Though Hall’s Twitter follower count got restored within hours, the alleged imposter is yet to be revealed.
Atlantic City Mayor Frank Gilliam landed himself in an embarrassing situation when a video of his brawl with local Councilman Jeffree Fauntleroy was released by the New Jersey Attorney General’s office.
The fight between the duo took place on November 11 outside the Golden Nugget Casino in New Jersey and though there is no audio in the footage, its evident that five men and two women punched and attacked each other.
Gilliam even chased down an unidentified man in a white T-shirt while Fauntleroy threw another man on the ground. Gilliam was punched by one of the unidentified men and hit the ground. Golden Nugget security eventually broke up the violent brawl.
According to reports, the prosecutors have decided not to pursue criminal charges against either Gilliam or Fauntleroy, but the former faces charges of simple assault and harassment and is due in the municipal court on December 3.
