Amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, a brawl broke out at Europe’s biggest casino, the King’s Casino in Rozvadov during the final days of the Balkan Poker Circuit. While the reason behind the fight is still unknown, someone managed to shoot a video of the melee and posted it on YouTube.
Deviating from his calm demeanor, the otherwise ‘Mr. Cool’, Daniel Negreanu lost his temper after repeatedly facing connectivity issues on WSOP.com while he was playing Event #10: $600 Monster Stack. He ultimately busted out of the money.
We are living in a time where wearing face masks in a necessity. However, the gravity of the situation seems to have been lost on a gambler, who refused to comply while inside the premises of a Nevada-based casino. He was eventually arrested for trespassing.
Brawl Breaks Out at the King’s Casino During the Balkan Poker Circuit
A massive brawl broke out during the final days of the Balkan Poker Circuit at King’s Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic. The fight saw several of the tournament’s participants swinging chairs as most of the field ran for the doors.
Someone in the casino with a higher vantage point of the situation took a video of the scuffle and posted it on YouTube.
Several eyewitnesses to the brawl have stated that security was on hand to break-up the fight almost as soon as it started. Before they could stop the fracas, players and chips were sent flying as those involved went on extreme tilt.
While the actual cause behind the fight remains unclear, the person who posted about the fight on the ‘two plus two’ forum, “heizmaullui” wrote, “I was sitting at the very next table (1 meter) away. As if out of nowhere, very suddenly within 2 seconds a player got up and hit his fist on another player’s head five times or more. Never seen something. Very aggressive. The blood spattered all over the table. The victim fell over and the offender continued to hit him. The victim had a hole in his head.”
The poster went on to say that the initial victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, while the player who started the incident was arrested.

Man Refuses to Wear Mask in Nevada Casino; Charged With Trespassing
With the COVID-19 pandemic still at large, wearing face masks in public establishments is the new norm. A gambler in the Lake Tahoe area found out just how serious the mandatory mask policy inside Nevada casinos is after being forced by authorities to either comply or stay out.
The 32-year-old was sitting at the bar at the Hard Rock around 2 AM on July 4, without a mask when security advised him to put on a mask or leave the casino floor, according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s report. The man refused to wear a mask or leave the casino – security officers told deputies. After being asked several more times, he was taken into custody by security for trespassing.
According to court documents, the man told deputies, “he did not care about the face masks and was not wearing one,” before becoming argumentative.
He appeared before the Tahoe Township Justice of the Peace Richard Glasson. The judge ordered him to comply with the requirements to wear a mask or other face coverings as outlined in Nevada and California and stay out of the Stateline casinos as a release condition on his own recognizance.
