Forget just the poker face; Sean Perry has brought the party to the Cash of the Titans II with his incredible play and a healthy dose of theatrics. But the highlight of Wednesday night’s episode aired on PokerGO’s No Gamble, No Future was a “shirts-off” bet that had everyone talking.
Perry came into Day 2 riding high after dominating Day 1 and earning a sweet $75,000 bonus as the biggest winner. He was gunning for the $200,000 prize set aside for the overall winner and wasn’t shy about it.
“Today’s side pot is only $75,000, but tomorrow’s is $200,000, and it’s overall for the three days of us playing,” Perry said in a chat with PokerGO’s Natalie Bode. “I’m trying to make sure I maintain my lead, and hopefully, I can win the overall prize tomorrow—it would be nicer than the $75,000 today.”
Clearly, Perry was a man on a mission. But amidst the cutthroat competition, he never lost sight of the fun, the thrill, the pure entertainment that makes poker so captivating. And that’s where the legendary “shirts-off” incident enters the scene.

The Hand That Bared It All
The scene was set: a round of the standup game, a seat redraw, increased blinds, and a $1,200 straddle from Stanley Choi. Choi raises to $4,000 with , Perry flat-calls with , and Justin Young defends his straddle with .
The flop explodes with , granting Choi a gutshot straight draw. He fires out a $6,000 bet, Perry calmly calls, and then Young, the ultimate risk-taker, shoves all-in for $60,300 with his top pair. Choi, after a tense deliberation with his time bank, folds. But Perry, the master showman, can’t resist a bit of playful banter.
“It’s such an interesting spot, with the dynamic of the $200,000 in play,” Perry remarks. Young, with impeccable comedic timing, deadpans, “Oh, I was very concerned about that as well,” drawing laughter from the table.
Suddenly, commentator Brent Hanks drops a bombshell: “I think they’ve got a shirts-off bet as well.”
With a mind-blowing $140,100 on the line, Perry calls. Young, needing desperate help to avoid dipping into his $100,000 add-on, finds himself in a precarious position. And that’s when the details of the bet emerge.
“Oh, man. Does that mean I have to run around shirtless here soon if I stack you?” Perry teased Young, who confirmed, “I believe that was the deal.”
The turn card, , sends Choi into a frenzy of frustration, as it would have completed his straight and given Young additional outs. But the river, , delivers the final blow, forcing Young to reach for his add-on. Perry, erupting in a triumphant “Hoorah, baby!”, tears off his sweatshirt and t-shirt, embarking on a topless victory lap around the table. He pauses only to embrace a good-natured Young, cementing this moment as an instant classic in poker history.
While the “shirts-off” spectacle undoubtedly stole the show, let’s not forget that Perry’s success runs far deeper than theatrics. He played incredibly well and ran just as hot. He was focused, determined, and clearly in his element.
What’s Next for Perry and Cash of the Titans II?
With Day 2 in the books and Perry in the lead, the stage is set for an epic finale. Will he maintain his dominance and claim the $200,000 overall prize? Or will one of his rivals stage a comeback and steal the spotlight? One thing’s for sure: Cash of the Titans II is delivering on its promise of high entertainment.
